Her name is Diksha Kaushik. She is a fun-loving introvert girl .she changed her name to dash because of an unordinary name in Houston. She chooses to change her name to be more social with her school classmates, but as, the days pass by the chosen name of her become a laughing stock for the class. as the days pass by to years, with junior to senior she does not have a single friend at school. her only means of support was her dear books . she loves to read different types of general which give her different types of the feeling of adventures she wanted to have with her friends. she soon began to get more introverted, but the best part was her supportive and cheering family.

As her luck became her enemy and keep nagging in her life, Her family conditions become to drop. As her father loses his job for being wronged and her grandmother was counting her days to heaven and last but the not the least her mother became an active volcano which can burst anytime soon. Her mother became this angry because of the conditions of the house and as a responsibility caring, there was rent to be paid was due, food supplies were short and more & more bills are coming on the way...

as Diksha was the middle children of her parents. she used to suffer alot. Her elder sister was already a pass out from the college when she was getting into college. her sister was looking for a job but as she gets a low ranking in the college. she has to look for a medium-sized advertisement company. As for the little sister of Diksha, she was in the high school when she got passed out from the high school, Now the family condition was low, so her father decided to move back to India after selling some assets in Houston and leave as soon as possible. This was the second most wrong thing happened in her life after her miserable teenage, but she is a type of girl who can't break down for just a few hits from life. She knows that this was not the end of her life. As she was very excited to see a new place and visit her home town which was in Mumbai. She was born in Houston, after her birth, her parents never visited India because of the workload that's why she did not get any chance to see India "Her fav land of cultures". She has read and seems many documentaries about India. She keeps on dreaming about Indian food, of course, she knows about Indian Street food. As she only gets to eat homemade food. She always wishes to eat Indian street food and her most wished thing to eat was "GOLGAPPA", legendary street food of India, and can be seen in every state of India

she has to drop out from her High school to get back to India and after settling all the things she could get to rejoin in any other high school in India as explained by her parents. Listening to this she became a little hopeless, she wanted to go in the most respectable college of U.S .now knowing that her family conditions, nowadays it looked impossible now, She also saved her some money to get into the College. she also thought of paying other expenses by getting a scholarship but, now she has to take her dreams back to her mind, Do whatever her parents told her as she loves her family, knowing that she is incapable of leaving her alone in U.s with no support, she also knows, if she tells her parents about that, she wants to stay in the U.S to get admitted into a good university. They will give on leaving the U.S program and forget the advantage of being in India. But living here will cost a maintains of this house. She also thought about her little sister as she could have a more enjoying teenage then me. it will be fine to leave the U.S and returned to India.

As days pass by packing began to complete our assets are already sold at a good price and all things are ready to go. In a few weeks leaving all good and bad of the U.S here, to start a new journey, to welcome in her life. She is getting into the new phase of her life leaving all misery here and expecting for a good new start in the "land of culture"...."the weeks past as fast as like, they all wanted to, let go all these hazards of life" a thought by Diksha. they finally get into the car. all the luggage and things were sent to there aunt's house, now they just have to sit in the car hoping for the best to happen, singing for new excitement of the new place. they looked happy, but still deep inside Diksha was in the misery of letting her dream off, she might make it true if they just stay longer or she can live without her family.

At the airport: happiness can be seen in their faces. they are all talking about the place they're going, her parents were sharing their experience and traditions of there family their plane will take off an hour later, her elder sister also came to say them good-by, she was not going because she has her own place to live and a paying job she has to stay here, Diksha can't live here as her parents can't let her live with her and her sister's income is also low so she can't afford two people on the lowly money. they were all talking to talking to each other then suddenly ......

When all things are going fine, a call came on Diksha’s father’s phone. It was his boss’s secretary’s phone call. they all are very surprised that why did the secretary call her dad, at this moment and after everything was finished? He picked up the phone call, the secretary said first,” hi Mr Mukesh Kaushik, how are you doing “, it sounds like he is a little embraced to continue but, he continued,” we apologize for our wrongdoing, now we like to recruit you again because we are in a great need of an experienced P.A”,(her dad work as a P.A in the company) dad was speechless he has no words to speak next. In a trembling voice, he said,” can you give me a second, please” the secretary said happily,” yaa, sure why not”, then he put the phone in hold mode” dad looked dissatisfied as if he taken a wrong decision of going back. he asked all of them what to do next? , they were all also very confused that, what should be done at that moment, as they are at the airport and their fight will board in 15 min, what can they do now?..her father doesn’t want to let this great opportunity to go so he said making a sad face,” am it means I have to stay I can’t let go this big opportunity fly away like this what do you think” her dad is a clumsy man he can’t care of himself alone so her mother said in anger,” what happened to you we are leaving, and that's final nobody has to stay, just call that secretary and deny the proposal”. After this, a huge fight happened between both her mother and father. Diksha has an idea but she does not know that her parents will agree to this or not, getting her courage she finally gathers the strength to ask her parents what she wants. She said hesitating “ mom, paa, can I stay here, work for your boss dad,”. They both were shocked and speak out at the same moment,” how can you live here without us “. she said determinedly,” trust me, dad… mom please, I did not tell you, but I had a wish to study in the best university in the UK “ so please let me live here and do this job”. Her parents looked at each other they want to deny her but after seeing how much determined she is, they just asked her a simple question, that,” in which university do you want to study and where did you plan to stay after we left here. She said in enthusiasm,” I have panned to go to the “A” university and you don’t have to worry what the fees, I have already collected some money, and with this job, I will be able to pay the fees myself and for living” she looked at her older sister, “I will live with Shrishti didi (big sis)" her elder looked at her in disagreement but did not stare up the things. Then a lot of discussions happened within 5 min because their fight is on the time. finally, her parents get convinced by her pleading and sincerity so, they let her stay back. then his father called the secretary. the secretary picked up the phone immediately." so, MR. Mukesh what is your answer" his dad said straight getting to the point," for some reason I have to deny your proposal but, I can offer you a better option than me” hiding his disappointment secretary said,” yaa, why not we need someone fast because today our president fired someone, he recently joined and have a bad temper so we need someone with experience which can handle him if you recommend someone we surely give it a try, who is it? ” “it is my dear daughter, actually this time we are at the airport, so my daughter urges me, to stay here for taking the job, but there is a problem she is under-graduate if it is okay for you, then it’s fine for me” the secretary hesitated first but then said,” if it’s not that urgent we won’t bother you, but are you sure your daughter can take the load” “don’t worry about that she is the one who helps me to sort the things and make the presentation, she is capable you do not have to worry about her,” said by her father in confidence. Then in doubt secretary said,” fine Mr Mukesh send her at noon tomorrow with her resume, have a good day bye!”...
