Now without further ado, let's begin.
Harrison walked into the flat. He finally bought an apartment after spending his after high school time with his parents back at Russia. Ivanov stepped into the hall and noticed that his new living space was between two other. While grabbing the key he heard the both doors open and then two guys stepped out.
To Harrison's notice they glared at each other, and it seemed like they haven't realized he's between them.
One of the males looked down at a quite small figure and met eyes with greyish irises. He then moved his stare back to the hazel pupils and his gaze sharpened.
The second male looked down and raised one eyebrow. Harrison was unlocking his door without a care in the world and when the door creaked open he was pulled back.
"Name." He heard from the male with hazel eyes. "Full... or?" Ivanov asked quietly. "Full." Said firmly the second guy. "Harrison Leopold... Ivanov." he said calmly when they finally let go of his arms.
"Andrew Harry Schneider." , "William Vincent Laurent." They said at the same time before looking at each other again. Harrison's eyes sharpened before he had to forcefully soften them.
"If we're finished with the introductions, I request to let me go inside." They nodded at the same time and Ivanov quickly entered his new apartment, closing the door.
'oh shoot... It was Laurent AND Schneider in the same hall. Right next to my new place. Where I wanted to have a new identity and go killing again...' he thought to himself. Then he quickly settled in and sat down on his new bed.
"Well... I guess I shouldn't kill with a mafioso and a detective next door. Though, who's gonna stop me. No one..." He whispered, barely audibly. The boy then stood up and stalked to the refrigerator, he opened it and expectedly found no food in. Ivanov sighed and grabbed a bag then walked to the door.
He opened it and found Andrew standing in the way. "May I somehow help?" Harrison asked slightly confused. "Oh no, I just wanted to get to know you better... But I see you're going somewhere?" He looked down at Harrison's shop bag.
"Oh yeah, I wanted to go shopping." An awkward silence fell. "Well if you want to join me, you're free to do so." Schneider nodded. "Then shall we go?"
Ivanov's face fell, slightly nervous to have a detective at his neck, even though he knew Andrew wasn't a typical detective running in the light side.
"Yeah let's go." But then the door on his right opened and Laurent stepped out. "Am I missing something?" Harrison cursed his luck but smiled on the surface. "Oh no, the acquaintance here wanted to company me to the grocery store . But you shouldn't trouble yourself." "Oh, but I WANT to tag along, is that a problem?" Said back William. "No, no." Harrison assured and just glanced at Andrew. "Let's go then."
The road to the grocery shop passed with awkward silence or just Andrew and William staring draggers at each other. Harrison was at the lead and stepped into the shop first. He grabbed a basket, went to the meat section and looked closely at the color or even how heavy it felt in hands. These actions came with confused expressions from the both males.
Harrison looked at them and then at the beef. "Uhm... Don't mind me, I have my preferences." And he went to other sections. Andrew and William tagging along as if two serious guards.
Then at the sharp objects section, Harrison grabbed a knife and started swishing it around, after that he stopped and just started at the metal. Both Andrew and William looked at each other with serious looks. "You seem rather comfortable with knifes." Said the one with hazel eyes.
"Ah, thank you. My mom was rather happy when I learned cooking." Ivanov quickly came up with a lie so nothing would seem suspicious. "And you, can you cook?" He asked, quite curious. William joined the conversation "I can, Andrew Is rather hopeless in kitchen." Schneider shoot him a glare. "I can frie an egg just fine."
Harrison smiled and nodded as if sarcastically saying 'yeah, yeah. I believe you.' He gripped the knife and placed it in his basket. "Do you want anything? I can buy it as a 'hello' gift." Laurent stared at the small guy. "A hello gift? What's that supposed to be?" Andrew nodded as if to agree. "Well it's like a gift for the start of our
acquaintance." Ivanov answered with a confused tone. "Don't tell me you never got something like that?" He sighed and turned to continue his walk.
Then Harrison accidentally bumped into a girl. "I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking-" but he froze when he realized who it was. "Wait, is that you HL?*" asked the girl. The boy looked at her annoyed but still felt really nervous with the two males behind him. "Juliette! It's been so long. Hows everything?"
"Haha! You know, since you left Russia it was soo boring that I myself moved here. It's fancy meeting you. But seriously, no one wanted to get me some fresh flesh-" Harrison unkindly covered her mouth. "What were you saying?" He asked her in a low voice and then pointed at the two guys behind him so she would understand to act less crazy.
Juliette gasped when she looked at William. "Ah! Mr. Laurent!!!" She said in high note. "Long time no see!" She added excitedly. William looked dumbfounded at her. "I beg your pardon?" "Oh that's right, we never actually met in person." Juliette giggled and glanced at Harrison. She nudgeted him on the side. "We just had a business with your father." Ivanov glared at her. "Who's we? I don't know him nor his father."
He stared at her annoyed and looked nervously at William. "She always says nonsense." But Juliette pouted. "But I really liked watching you skin someone-" Harrison yet again covered Juliette's mouth. "She's talking about some game." Then Andrew finally spoke. "You might not know me, ma'am. I'm Andrew Harry Schneider." He smiled slightly which was a rare sight.
Juliette gasped even louder now. "No way! You're the underworld prodigy detective who doesn't really follow justice!" Harrison face palmed, he really wanted to disappear right now, but of course couldn't. "Uh... I think the introduction is in order... This is Juliette Smith." He said quietly.
They both nodded in reunion as she smiled brightly. "So you're from...?" Asked William. "From America, but I lived in Russia since I was 4!" Laurent nodded as if to show that he understands. Then suddenly she placed her hand on Harrison's shoulder and declared.
"My friend here speaks fluent in Chinese, Russian, English and German." She snorted. "Hehe, I'm friends with a prodigy. Oh wait wait, French and Polish too, right???" Ivanov face palmed "sounds like a truth to me." He said tired. Andrew and William exchanged amused looks between them selves as Harrison tried to get rid of Juliette.
He pushed her away and whispered some Russian words into her ear, after that she laughed and left immediately. William shook his head with a smile. "Skin someone she said right?" Ivanov's face lost colors for a second. "Yeah, she's addicted to video games and every time we do something she has to tell everyone she knows." The short boy smiled awkwardly.
"Even tho you say it, she knew who we were. Not the basic, 'I heard your name somewhere.' More like she constantly heard rumors or gossips regarding us." Harrison sighed. "She's obsessed with handsome men, let her do what she does best, that is stalking." He said sarcastically.
(HL* - *read like separate letters* Harrison Leopold.)
[Fun fact, Andrew was supposed to be Smith at first but since he's half German I changed it to a different surname.]
After getting everything from the shop the trio walked back to their apartments. The walk on it's own was quite refreshing for Harrison but the awkward silence ate him alive. After arriving in the flat he politely excused himself to his apartment and locked the door. He started making some cereal and sat down on the couch.
"Damnit, that shitty girl almost outed me." The whisper left his mouth barely audible. He chewed the food while staring at one of the windows. Soon after Harrison washed the bowl, grabbed a dragger and stalked to the window. He creaked it open and stepped into the balcony, looking down to finally realize that he lived on the seventh floor.
"..." Harrison moved to the rusty fire escape and he successfully got down on the ground. Ivanov walked for a while so the murder wasn't committed too close to his place and he found his perfect prey. He waited till the man stepped into the alley and then he cut off his breathing, leaving him unconscious and unable to scream for help. The small guy cut open the man's stomach after killing him silently.
He gently brushed his gloved finger against not beating heart and then ripped it out. Harrison examined the rest of the organs, pulled them all out (which left a disgusting look.) and placed them in a bag. Ivanov stood up and started cleaning before covering the empty stomach (literally empty) with a black new shirt.
The small boy looked proud at his work and decided that it's time to go. Ivanov grabbed the bag with questioning things in it and moved back to his apartment. Soon after arriving he opened the bag and placed every organ in order. Harrison smiled creepily and took a photo of the organs.
He texted a business partner.
[Hello sir, I have some
supplies for you today.
That'll be around one million.]
[Oh hello young man,
I see that my order is ready,
since you finished the work
faster than I demanded I'll give
you some bonus, how about
1' 250' 000'?]
[That'll be more than enough
sir, money to the usual bank
account. Have a great night.]
He then placed his phone on the table, watched TV while sitting on a couch and eating some pastry. Harrison heard a knock to the door and he froze. He literally had human organs on display laying on the table! He stood up and stalked to the door, opened them and there was Laurent standing in front of him.
"Is there something wrong?" Ivanov asked, successfully hiding his nervousness. "Oh no, I just wanted to ask if you have a soap? My ran out and I don't want anything from... that guy." He said while gesturing on the left door where were placed Andrew's apartment. "Oh yeah sure, let me grab it." Harrison walked to the bathroom and grabbed a new soap, his heart almost stopped when he saw that William stepped in and was waiting in the door way.
Ivanov prayed that Laurent did see anything suspicious, even tho he already though that William's calm act was unusual. He handed him the thing. "Here, I hope you don't mind that it's cherry flavoured." Harrison smiled weakly as he shifted slightly so William wouldn't see the table with organs on it.
"That's alright, I'll take my leave now. Goodnight." Ivanov nodded and locked the door after Laurent left. He sighed heavily and quickly hid the organs in a bag. Then he placed the bag in a fridge. After all he had to send it to a customer. He couldn't have sent a rottened parts of human body, it had to be quite fresh.
He finally went to the bathroom and took a shower, after that entered his bedroom and just fell asleep.
The sun hit his face around 5 a.m. so Harrison opened his eyes, which he quickly regret. He was blinded with the sun rise and he cursed under his breath as he sat up. The young male stalked to the kitchen and ate some pancakes, after that he drank coffee, strong, back.
Harrison then went to brush his teeth. He grabbed a packing paper and secured the organs in a plastic bag. Ivanov placed the thing in a box, then neatly packed it and placed in a shopping bag. He threw it on his shoulder and stepped out of the flat, luckily not running into anyone. The boy arrived at post office, took out his phone and called the man. "Сообщите мне свой адрес или просто укажите, куда отправить." Harrison said in Russian "Москва, обычное почтовое отделение " Said the voice in device. "Хорошо, я отправляю. Хорошего дня." The young male waited for the man to say goodbye, after that he send the box and went to the nearest shop.
While grabbing a drink (beer, 0%) he bumped into Juliette again. "I swear, you're stalking me or something." He said annoyed. "I'm not!" She said defiantly. Harrison face palmed "You almost outed me yesterday to a detective AND a mafioso." Smith gasped "So they don't know who you are?" "They don't! Now be quiet." "Who doesn't know something?" Asked Andrew while peaking out of a candy section. Juliette smiled at Schneider. "Come here, take William with you." Ivanov looked at her weirdly. "You came here with them?" "Yes, we met near the shop and they wanted to talk about you." She said excitedly. "They what-?!" Harrison quickly stopped yelling as the two guys came closer. " 'They'? Who?" Asked confused Laurent.
"We were talking about you two!" She confessed. "And what exactly about us?" Added curious Andrew. "Oh, how Harrison doesn't want you to-" Ivanov smashed her face with his palm. He leaned closer and whispered into her ear. "Shut up or your organs are what I'm selling next." She nodded obediently and looked at Andrew. "He doesn't want you to know that he's a clean freak." Said Juliette, which wasn't exactly a lie. He did have a habit of cleaning his victims. "Ah! I know what it's like, my dad is one too." "We know" said Juliette just after William.
"Who's we?" Murmured yet again Harrison. Laurent looked at the girl "And how do you know my father?" "Uh... You mean Mr. Michael Evan Laurent right? Yeah I know him from a business, my friend here" - she pointed at Harrison -"had the pleasure of meeting him in person!" Ivanov rolled his eyes, "I think you took me for someone else." Juliette side eyed him and whispered "Ah right, I meant my friend called Surgeon ." Harrison's eyes widened just as Andrew and William's. "Who?" Asked Schneider. "The Russian Surgeon." She corrected herself. "Oh, and do you happen to be friend of his?" Ivanov asked as if not talking about himself.
"Yes, I do! He's really good at cleaning corps." She said, proud to be friends with a killer. "So you know his identity?" voiced Laurent, really to do anything to gain the information.
"Ah! Fortunately I do...!" - she said but after meeting eyes with Ivanov's chilling gaze she quickly added. "...not! I do not know, I'm sorry." Andrew looked at William with disappointed face. "Well, we're glad that you even told us you're friends with him. Was worth a try to gain the information." Harrison glared at Juliette. "Now if you excuse me, I came here for a beer. I'll get going." Ivanov walked away with some can in his hand.
He arrived at his apartment around noon after buying a drink. He opened the beer and just drank it while watching TV. The rest of the day passed peacefully. Harrison fell asleep near 11 p.m.
