Ryan pulled the curtain aside.
A boy in a gray hoodie looked up from his phone, holding a small cake box with the most awkward smile Ryan had ever seen.
He looked exactly like his profile picture.
Maybe a little cuter.
Ryan grabbed his keys without thinking.

The kind that made his eyes disappear.

Ryan looked at him, trying and failing to hide the blush creeping onto his face.

Leo stared for a second before breaking into the brightest smile Ryan had ever seen.
Some people spend years looking for the right person.
Ryan found his because of one wrong number.
Ryan never thought a wrong number would become the best thing that had ever happened to him.
Five years later, they were living together in a cozy apartment filled with sunlight, plants... and absolute chaos.
Mostly because of Mochi, the orange cat who believed every shelf belonged to him, and Biscuit, the golden retriever who thought he was still puppy-sized.

Mochi casually walked across the kitchen counter as if he hadn't committed a crime.
Biscuit happily wagged his tail, accidentally bumping into Leo and making him spill the second cup too.
