I looked at my watch. I've been on the bus   for 7 hours with 8 more hours to go. I have to listen to my annoying bus driver who won’t shut up which makes the bus even louder. I looked at my phone. I saw my mom had texted me to see if I was at scholastic yet. I didn’t want to lie but I also didn’t want to say no because my mom would freak out.

Oh hi, while I was talking about my choice I forgot to tell you about me, my name is Astystella (as-siy-stell-ah). I am an author. I am 34 years old. I am riding on a travel bus. I also know magic,even though I don’t want to though.

Many years ago my family was cursed to have to do magic every year. Ever since my mom told me I had to I always tried to find a good reason to use magic. I have always Tried to find a way to break the spell but still I have been unsuccessful.

I got off the bus because I had to use the bathroom so I had to yell for the bus driver to stop. She  asked was I sure and I said yes.

So after I finished using the bathroom and went back outside the gas station. I yelled and jumped up and down when I saw an old gray cracked  concrete fountain that was covered in vines. I know you think why is she screaming when all it is a fountain but it is not just a fountain it is just the beginning of the story.

I looked around to find an old cottage with shiny glass windows and a hay roof.It had a brown cracked wood door. I decided I might as well get some rest, and went to the cottage and opened the door. I was amazed by what I saw. It had walls with doves painted on, twin brown wing chairs. It also had a gold noir hermo table in between the chairs,But that was not what amazed me. There was a ghost with jet black hair put up with a french twist, She was wearing a silk gold empire waist dress.

She was walking around as if she was worried. I asked “ mam do you have a place to rest after my long day” she replied “well isn’t rude not to bow and say hello first”. So I bowed and said hello. The ghost said “Anyway why shall I tell you, you just walked in my house and didn’t even knock.how rude.”  “Sorry” I replied. “Very well I do have a place for you to rest but please know you seriously don’t know how to approach a royal princesses room so I shall teach you after you rest.” “So where is it?” i said but quickly added “my madam”. She smiled gently and said “right down that hallway you shall find a room with the door slightly open and that is where you shall rest.” “thank you” I curtsied and walked down the hall.

The hall gave me goosebumps. The hall had at least 8 rooms total. Each door or entryway had a  gold wrought candle holder on each side of the entryway. When I got to the room I started to reach for the handle but jerked my hand back. The ghost then came down the hall and opened the door and said “ I shall see you in the morning, sleep well and do not worry about anything Just watch out for my brother.”. She then walked off before I could say anything.

I walked into the room and saw a gold renaissance dresser and a gold canopy bed with gold curtains around the bed,a gold table stand with a table lamp on the table sat beside the bed. I also saw a huge gold shade glass window with silk gold curtains tied open with gold strings, a gold frame mirror, it had a gold lamp lit by a gold candle. The room also had a golden chandelier which made no sense. It was so bright in here already but it was the way they had it. The walls were painted gold with silver vines running around the walls.the floor had gold carpet. It even had A golden shaded door which I couldn't help but open to find a humongous closet so picture your closet  and picture it 4 times bigger than that. It had a gold colored couch with a gold table stand with a gold table lamp. The floor was gold cork.The walls were gold with silver floral patterns. On the walls hung a bunch of gold candle holders with a bunch of gold candles in it  but it also had a gold chandelier. The walls had a bunch of gold shelves that held gold hagers with a bunch of gold, silver and white gowns. On the top part of the shelves were gold, white and  silver towels, hats, scarfs, jewelry boxes and a lot of other stuff. I then realised behind the dresses was a door which I went through to find a bathroom with a gold bathtub as big as a pool, a gold toilet with a gold plunger and gold toilet bowl cleaner. I also saw a  golden sink that was attached to a huge counter that was covered with gold toothbrushes, gold makeup and gold colored toothpaste and gold brushes. It even was covered with gold soap bars and even gold liquid soap. The floor was tiled with gold.

I decided to go back to the bedroom part and lay down on the bed. It took a while to go to sleep after seeing all the cool stuff. When I finally did I had a dream I was in the same room but it seemed to be alot darker because the chandelier was lit and it wasn’t so bright in the room which creeped me out.  I then heard yells that seemed like arguing I looked up to see the ghost from earlier and a boy that looked like he was 20 yrs old at least. He had shaggy jet black hair,he had blue eyes that seemed to sparkle. The boy wore a silver cloak with silver trousers and a silver tunic. The ghost well living girl in the dream was wearing a silk gold dress as she was when I entered the cottage. She had her hair in a french braid instead of a french twist.

The boy said “I'm tired of you thinking you’ll get to be queen we won’t, we’re twins the throne is passed on to our most loyal guard and you know that and you know that it would cause a problem if you just so happened to marry him after he is king.”  the ghost i met earlier replied “brother james we will get the throne I can promise you that I will find away we just have to get people to think were not related and also get them to forget you are my twin the whole city and we could pretend to mary and we would both be on the throne” James then said “ I shall not trick my city and you shall know that you shouldn’t either.” she then replied “ then that leaves 1 choice” “and that is?” she said “to murder you”

I then woke up startled to find the girl well actually ghost sitting at the foot of my bed. I then said “did you kill your brother?”. Her face turned pale and her eyes seemed to start to be on fire. She then started to cry.  I tried to cheer her up when out of nowhere she said “Get out go retrieve some water and go take it to the east battle ground pour it on the ground and come back and retrieve a stick and poke the ground where you poured the water with the stick it shall start to go in flames you shall then come back here and burn this place down this place is nothing but pain that is the only way I shall rest in peace.” I then said “I’m not going to burn this house down and you never answered my question.”

She looked down and whispered curse this stupid world. She looked up and I saw her face was flooded with tears but the tears seemed not to be water it seemed to be blood. I looked down to stop myself from screaming when she reached out and touched my forehead. I tried to pull my head back but my body seemed to not move.

I was back in the room  James was still there but this time he was wearing a silver army outfit. He had a silver sword with a silver handle that had gold flakes on it. The ghost well the girl was wearing A red dress with gold flakes, In her  right hand was a shield and her left held a gold blade sword with a silver and gold handle. They seemed to be fighting each other,like they were at war but this time they weren’t in the bedroom. They were in what seemed to be an arena; the arena floor looked to be made of pure silver. the walls looked like they were made of solid gold. The arena had no roof but the walls had no windows.There were ruby bleachers around the arena which made it seem uncomfortable. The 2 kept fighting. I then looked around to see no one was in the arena and found out I was the only guest. When suddenly there was A huge yelp I looked to see the girl lying on the ground with a sword through her chest,she was breathing heavily. She managed to say” I curse you to live in fear to use magic to help others if you fail you shall vanish. It shall never stop, it will continue on to your children and to theirs and so on you must use magic every single year. I shall never forget you brother.” Her brother then said “ you're lost and you shall never leave the royal properties for eternity and shall never rest in peace”.She choked a minute then was gone.

I then opened my eyes to realize she was gone,there was a note at the edge of the bed it read....

Remember when you are lost I shall stay

you’ll be in an endless sleep you must dismay

my curse my long lost cousin I may be be dead

but let me lay in peace at last my curse shall not seed

Power is hard to fool

But you my dear are strong and cruel

When the clock strikes endless

You shall be defenceless

Meet me in the dining room

Where you shall choose your foredoom

So I met her in the dining room which took a while. Honestly this cottage is easy to get lost in. When I walked in I saw a gold and silver chandelier with gold and silver candles. The dining table was gold and silver with red speckles on it. The table was really long. The chairs on the right were silver while the ones on the left were gold and the ones at the 2 ends were red. The floor was gold with red and silver speckles. The wall and roof matched the floor. She told me to sit down. I sat at one of the ends she did too. I asked her “what is your name you have not told me?” she smiled then frowned and said “Unfortunately I was never given A name So what would you like to call me?” I thought for a moment and said something great “Evil” she just shrugged and said “ That is fair I did curse you and alot of other cousins because of my brother but what will you actually call me” I said something stupid “umm evil, I ain’t changing the name you cursed me what did you expect angel or something now im stuck not sure about anything what to do not even sure why im here and you just seem to be playing with I am related to you but that doesn’t meen I’m him im not I’m clearly a girl and I’m not like him nor am I like you Because you both don’t think before you act and think everything is a game or competition yet where did that lead you To death Say one more rude thing to me or sassy thing And you won’t be resting in peace nor resting here.” Flames then sprouted out of me. “Evil”  then stood up and started pacing back and forward saying “no this can't be happening no no  no this is just a dream its just a dream” then screaming . “WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO ME”

I tried to stop the fire coming out of me but it didn’t stop well hey it wasn’t burning anything.

She then  snapped her fingers so I then focused on her and the fire disappeared. She then said “How did you do that? Not even the strongest wizard or witch has done that yet here you are standing in front of me and was on fire.”

I shook my head and said “I have no clue but anyways what were you talking about why is this happening to me ?” She looked down and studied her gold stud heels. After a while she said “ That is not be mentioned”

I then started to go in flames again when she said “fine i’ll tell you so after we cursed each other And I died my brother took me through a path through the wood that led to the cottage that me and him dug when we were young he took me to my bedroom and gave me a dirt grim bath to make me look dirty then he messed my hair up with the blow dryer and my brush that I broke a long time ago and changed my dress to an old slave dress that Belonged to my servant and put alot of my on it that had of me and he went and the servant then he went and killed a guard and put them on my bed and closed the curtains then he took me and put me down outside the cottage with an arrow going through my heart and my back leaning against the wall and my legs and arms motioned as if I was startled when I was so happened killed by a guard which was the same guard he killed and motioned him to look like he was the one that killed me then he put the servant as if she had jumped to save the guard and got hit in the heart with and arrow that went right thru her and stopped after piercing the guards heart. He had not wished to see me in ghost form and I wasn’t wishing for him to see me so he had no clue I watched him…”

she started to cry and I was still so angry at her for cursing every one of his children  and him instead of just him so I made her keep going. She continued “So he had no clue I was watching him and saw him kill those people, he started to go tell mother and father but realized they wouldn’t burn my soul so what he did was station it to make it look like i killed them by surprise and he then killed me as punishment for killing them…” she couldn't continue so I told her to finish tomorrow.

After the story I was unsure if I Wanted to lye down in that bed so I decided to lay down in the theatre hall Don’t ask how the flip a cottage has a theatre room that long ago I don't know well it literally didn’t have a tv screen so basically it kind of just had a stage and the out looked like this room was like for opera and I fall asleep in opera so I decided to stay in here and sleep on the chairs which were of course silvers walls, everything in the room was silver.

I was worried I would Imagine the things she just told me so I had a hard time falling anyway. I was so tired I fell asleep not long after laying down.

I dreamed I was on a beach but the beach water wasn’t beach it was blood and dead bodies for some reason I ran towards it  I was running through the blood and dead bodies to find A couple no not a couple they were sisters there was one wearing jeans and a what used to white shirt that said love me or lose my heart the other one was wearing a blue jumpsuit and it said try me on the side of the pants. I wanted to cry but I couldn’t. I kept running but suddenly stopped. I squatted in the blood and dead bodies and touched a face. I couldn’t recognize the person but I could tell it hasn’t been  long since she died. She had long silky dirty blonde hair and she wore a pink gown that faded to blue. It looked like a prom dress. She had a headband that was pink and wore a blue choker. I started to feel tears run down my face. She then grabbed my hand and said the death sea shall wait for you, take me with you my love I loved you forever. I assumed she was going blind then she died.I then realised every time a body touched they replayed their death so that made sense. I got up and kept running when suddenly I saw something that made me want to die. It was a new born baby she only wore A diaper but she Kept crying But no one was touching her. I decided to pick her up and that's when I suddenly realized why they called it they called it the death sea.There was a girl who wore a gold short fluffy dress and was running she was barefoot she the yelled take my baby keep her sake I shall never see her die save her this is my will I shall survive the death sea and rest in peace and not replay my death as for you if you are a living he shall not hurt you so go rescue my baby  I shall remember you and I shall choose immortality for your braveness.

I choked back tears. The sea was cruel. I wanted to run to her and grab her and the baby and take them to the shore but just when I started to run to her she dropped and started to replay her death. I let the tears run down my face and heard a loud grumble that sounded like give me the baby and I shall let you go  dead one the baby is so great it could power me for forever. I shook my head and kept running toward the shore when the thing saw that It made him rage He came racing toward me and that's when my heart stopped but I kept on running I felt like I was dead That is what they ran from they all never survived I had fear climb up into me but suddenly  he stopped bowled your not food or a dead one your a living I hate them always coming and stealing them babies out of this water and not letting me rest I said “what do you mean rest” I was cursed I can never leave this water and not let people live as a ghost as a choice I must not I killed my daughter in this water ever since I was cursed I just wanna rest in peace without fear to kill my family.I started to feel sorry for him but I stopped and ran onto the beach and the baby disintegrated and I woke up.
