.
Hello everyone! Welcome to my story!
Before we begin, let me introduce the people who will become an important part of my life.
Some of them have been with me since childhood.
Some entered my life later.
Some changed my future without even realizing it.
And together...
They became the people I now call my family.
Let's meet them.
This is me!
Nobita Nobi.
A seventeen year old high school student.
People say I'm kind...
Some say I'm clumsy...
Others say I worry too much.
...They're probably right.
I like making new friends, spending time with the people I love and dreaming about a happy future.
Though...
Sometimes life has other plans.
My Mom
Tamako Nobi
The kindest person in our house.
Even though we have maids, she still insists on cooking for us herself.
According to her...
"Food tastes better when it's made with love."
I think she's right.
My Dad
Nobisuke Nobi
The coolest dad... according to himself(I think so too (^^)).
He loves teasing Mom.
Mom pretends to get annoyed...
But we all know she's secretly smiling.
Watching those two makes me wonder...
Maybe love really does exist.
My Elder Brother
Daiken Nobi
My biggest role model.
Smart.
Responsible.
Calm.
Strong.
He's the kind of brother everyone wishes they had.
He teases me sometimes...
But if anyone else tries to bully me...
Well...
Let's just say I'd feel sorry for them.
My Little Sister
Daiya Nobi
The baby of our family.
She's cheerful.
She's adorable.
She's also the heaviest sleeper in the entire world.
Seriously.
Waking her up every morning is harder than passing an exam.
My brother's best friend
Dekisugi Hidetoshi.
Now...
This guy...
At first, I honestly found him a little intimidating.
He was quiet.
Smart.
Handsome.
Seemed good at almost everything.
The kind of person who made you wonder if he was even real.
We weren't close.
At least...
That's what I believed.
Little did I know...
We had our lives tied together long before I could even remember.
My Childhood Best Friend
Suneo Honekawa
Yes.
He's rich.
But don't let that fool you.
He ain't spoiled like you may have thought.
He's one of the most loyal friends anyone could ask for.
We've known each other for years.
My Brother's Best Friend
Takeshi Goda (Gian)
If you judge him by his appearance...
You'll probably think he's scary.
And honestly...
You wouldn't be completely wrong.
But once you get to know him...
He's actually a dependable person.
Just don't tell him I said that.
My female Friend
Shizuka Minamoto
Kind.
Gentle.
Beautiful.
Everyone likes her.
...
Including me.
Though...
She doesn't know that yet.
And finally...
Jaiko Goda
Gian's little sister.
Daiya's best friend.
Quiet.
Creative.
And always carrying a sketchbook wherever she goes.
That's everyone...
Well...
At least for now.
Because very soon...
New people will walk into our lives.
Some will become friends.
Some will become family.
Some will heal wounds we didn't even know we still carried.
And some...
Will quietly change our hearts forever.
So...
Let's begin our story.
(Imagine Nobita's house like this, because they're rich rich in my story ;))
...----------------...
The morning sun had yet to rise, and the Nobi household was still asleep.
Well...
Almost everyone.
Upstairs, inside one of the bedrooms, Nobita was fast asleep, dreaming the strangest dream of his life.
Nobita was sitting alone on a chair in the corner of a grand wedding hall, quietly drinking a glass of wine.
The hall was beautifully decorated with white flowers and golden lights. Laughter echoed through the room as guests happily celebrated the occasion.
Yet somehow...
He had no idea whose wedding he was attending.
Curious, he looked towards the stage.
The groom's face was blurry, making it impossible to recognize him.
But the bride...
"...Shizuka?"
His eyes widened.
Wait... What?!
Shizuka was getting married?!
Someone already stole her before he even got the chance to confess?
His shoulders slumped.
Without thinking, he took another sip from his wine.
Just then, someone gently took the wine glass from his hand.
"Huh?"
Nobita quickly looked up.
The man's face was blurry too. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't see who it was.
Then the man spoke.
His voice was deep and husky... strangely familiar.
"Stop drinking. It's bad for your health."
Nobita frowned.
"Huh? Who are you to order me around?"
He reached out with a pout.
"Give me back my drink."
He stood up and tried to take the glass back, but the man was much taller than him.
Because of the wine, Nobita lost his balance and stumbled forward.
Before he could fall, a strong hand caught him by the waist.
He looked up, about to complain.
But before he could say a single word... The man kissed him.
Nobita's eyes flew open in shock.
"W-Wait!"
He pushed against the man's chest, trying to break free, but it was no use.
As he struggled, the man's hand slid gently to the back of his neck, holding him a little closer as the kiss deepened.
Little by little...
Nobita stopped resisting.
Whether it was because he had run out of strength...
Or because the warmth somehow felt comforting...
Even he didn't know.
Slowly, he found himself kissing the man back.
After what felt like forever, they finally pulled away, both trying to catch their breath.
Nobita rested his forehead against the man's chest for a brief moment, breathing heavily.
Without saying a word, the man lifted him into his arms.
"H-Hey!"
He carried Nobita in a bridal style into a large room before gently laying him down on a soft bed.
The man leaned over him once more.
He kissed Nobita again before moving down to his neck...
"N-NO, WAIT!!"
Nobita's eyes shot open.
He bolted upright in bed, breathing heavily.
His heart pounded wildly against his chest.
"W-What kind of dream was that?!"
His face turned bright red as he buried it in both hands.
Who was that person?
Why couldn't he see his face?
And...
Why had he dreamed something so strange?
Then another part of the dream suddenly returned to him.
"...Shizuka."
He immediately grabbed his hair.
"No! I really have to stop being such a scaredy-cat."
If he kept hesitating...
Someone might really confess to Shizuka before he ever got the chance.
He quickly reached for his phone on the bedside table.
6:00 a.m.
He still had plenty of time before school started at eight.
Today was his very first day of high school.
Just thinking about it made him feel both excited and nervous.
After taking a deep breath, Nobita climbed out of bed and headed for the bathroom to get ready.
A little while later, he came back wearing his neatly pressed school uniform.
After making sure everything was in place, he walked downstairs.
The delicious smell of breakfast welcomed him before he even reached the dining room.
His mother, Tamako, was already in the kitchen, preparing breakfast.
Although the Nobi family had maids to help with the housework, Tamako always insisted on cooking for her family herself.
She believed meals tasted better when they were made with love.
It had become a small family tradition that everyone gathered around the dining table every morning before leaving for school or work.
It wasn't anything special.
Just breakfast together.
But somehow, it always made the house feel warm.
When Tamako noticed Nobita walking into the kitchen, she blinked in surprise.
"Nobita?" she asked, looking at him with concern. "You're awake already? Are you feeling alright, dear?"
Nobita smiled sheepishly.
"I'm okay, Mum. I just woke up early."
He scratched the back of his head.
"Maybe because today's my first day of high school."
He definitely wasn't going to tell her about that embarrassing dream.
Tamako smiled warmly before turning back to the stove.
"I'm glad you're excited."
Nobita walked over beside her.
"Can I help with anything?"
"Hmm..."
She thought for a moment before nodding.
"Actually, yes."
"Could you go wake your sister up?"
"You know how she is."
Tamako laughed softly.
"If no one wakes her, she'll probably sleep through half the morning."
Nobita chuckled.
"Okay, Mum."
He made his way upstairs and quietly stopped outside Daiya's bedroom.
After knocking once, he slowly opened the door.
Just as he expected...
Daiya was still sound asleep.
Her blanket was wrapped around her like a cocoon, and her peaceful face made her look completely unaware that school even existed.
Nobita couldn't help but smile.
"She's such a heavy sleeper..."
He quietly walked over and sat on the edge of her bed, wondering how he was going to wake her up this time.
Meanwhile, downstairs...
Nobisuke walked into the kitchen with a sleepy yawn before making his way over to his wife.
Without saying a word, he wrapped his arms around Tamako from behind and kissed her gently on the cheek.
"Good morning, love~" he greeted with a smile.
Tamako smiled without even turning around.
"Good morning, hon."
Then she lightly nudged him with her elbow.
"Nobita was here a little while ago. I sent him upstairs to wake Daiya, and they could come down at any moment."
She gave him a knowing look.
"So don't be too clingy."
Nobisuke sighed dramatically.
"I was only saying good morning."
Tamako laughed.
"Of course you were."
Then Nobisuke suddenly paused.
"Wait..."
His expression turned worried.
"Nobita was awake this early?"
Tamako nodded.
"He said he woke up early because today is his first day of high school."
Nobisuke let out a relieved sigh.
"You scared me. I thought he was sick."
Tamako smiled warmly.
"He seems excited."
"That's good."
With another smile, Nobisuke finally walked over to the dining table and picked up the morning newspaper while waiting for breakfast.
A few minutes later, another pair of footsteps echoed from upstairs.
Daiken walked into the dining room, already dressed neatly in his school uniform.
As the eldest sibling, he naturally carried himself with a quiet sense of responsibility.
"Good morning, Mum. Dad."
"Good morning, Daiken," both of his parents replied together.
Daiken looked around the dining room before speaking.
"I checked Nobita's room, but he wasn't there. Have you seen him?"
Tamako nodded.
"He woke up early today."
"I asked him to wake Daiya."
"I see."
A faint smile appeared on Daiken's face.
Looks like his younger brother really was excited about his first day of high school.
Not long after, Nobita finally came downstairs with Daiya beside him.
She rubbed one eye sleepily while trying to fix her slightly messy hair.
"Good morning..." she mumbled with a small yawn.
"Good morning," everyone replied with gentle smiles.
Seeing his whole family gathered around the dining table, Nobita couldn't help smiling too.
Just like every morning...
Everyone was together.
Breakfast was filled with the usual light conversation.
Tamako reminded everyone to eat properly.
Nobisuke occasionally folded his newspaper just to join the conversation.
Nobita chatted excitedly about starting high school.
Daiya quietly ate while still trying to wake herself up.
Daiken listened with a small smile, only speaking every now and then, but always keeping an eye on the time.
It was an ordinary morning.
Simple.
Warm.
Comfortable.
By the time everyone finished eating, Daiken glanced at his phone.
7:30 a.m.
He stood up from his chair.
"Nobi. Daiya."
The two looked up.
"Finish getting ready. We should leave now if we don't want to be late."
"Yes, Brother!" they answered together.
The siblings quickly finished the last few bites of their breakfast before hurrying upstairs to grab their school bags.
A minute later, they came running back downstairs.
"I'm ready!" Nobita announced cheerfully.
"Me too!" Daiya added.
Tamako smiled as she straightened Nobita's slightly crooked tie.
"There."
"Much better."
Nobita scratched the back of his head with an embarrassed laugh.
"Thanks, Mum."
Nobisuke stood up and smiled proudly at his children.
"Do your best today."
"We will!"
After slipping on their shoes, the three siblings walked outside.
Daiken had already taken the car out of the garage.
As usual, Nobita climbed into the front passenger seat beside him, while Daiya settled into the back.
Before starting the engine, Daiken glanced at both of them through the rearview mirror.
"Seatbelts."
"Oh!"
Nobita laughed sheepishly.
"I almost forgot."
Daiya quickly buckled hers as well.
Only after making sure both of them were safely strapped in did Daiken start the car.
The vehicle slowly pulled away from the house, carrying the three siblings towards what would become the beginning of a brand-new chapter in their lives.
The morning traffic was light as Daiken drove toward the school.
Nobita sat in the front passenger seat, quietly looking out of the window while Daiya hummed to herself in the back seat.
Suddenly, Nobita noticed a small group of boys surrounding a girl near the sidewalk.
She looked like a foreign student, standing alone with her school bag over one shoulder.
"Brother, wait!" Nobita said, pointing toward them. "Those boys are bullying that girl. Let's help her!"
Daiken glanced in the direction Nobita was pointing before calmly replying,
"I don't think we'll need to."
"Huh?"
Nobita looked back just in time to see one of the boys rush toward the girl.
Before anyone could react—
Thud!
She grabbed his wrist, twisted it effortlessly, and sent him stumbling onto the ground.
The other boys froze.
One tried to step forward.
She swept her leg beneath his, making him lose balance out and he landed flat on the pavement.
The remaining boys immediately backed away before turning around and running as fast as they could.
Nobita blinked several times.
"...Wow."
Daiken chuckled as he gently patted the back of Nobita's head.
"See? She can take care of herself."
Nobita smiled sheepishly.
"Looks like I was worried for nothing."
"You worry too much, dummy."
"Hehe..."
The car pulled away, leaving the girl behind as if nothing had happened.
A little while later, they arrived at school.
Nobita checked the time on his phone.
7:55 a.m.
"Perfect," he said with a smile.
They had arrived right on time.
The three siblings got out of the car and walked through the school gates.
Their group of friends was already waiting outside the main building.
"Good morning!"
"Morning!"
Everyone exchanged cheerful greetings before heading toward their classrooms.
Nobita and Suneo were in Grade 10.
Daiken, Dekisugi, and Gian were in Grade 12.
Meanwhile, Daiya and Jaiko headed toward the elementary section, where they studied in Grade 5.
"See you after school," Daiken said before walking toward the senior building with Gian and Dekisugi.
"See you!"
Nobita waved before following Suneo to their classroom.
As usual, the two of them sat together in the front row.
Students slowly filled the classroom as conversations buzzed around them.
A few minutes later, the bell rang.
Their homeroom teacher walked inside.
The class immediately quieted down.
"Good morning, everyone."
"Good morning, sir."
"My name is Tashiro Kazuko, and I'll be your homeroom teacher this year. Let's work hard together."
"Yes, sir."
The teacher smiled.
"Good."
He looked toward the classroom door.
"Today, we have two new students joining our class. Both of them entered our school through scholarships. One transferred from another school in Japan, while the other came from overseas."
He gestured toward the doorway.
"Come in."
The classroom became quiet as two students walked inside.
The boy stepped forward first.
He had neat black hair, calm eyes, and carried himself politely.
"Hello, everyone."
He gave a small bow.
"My name is Kaito Tanaka. It's nice to meet all of you. I hope we can become good friends."
The class welcomed him with smiles and polite applause.
Then the girl stepped forward.
She had a short wolf cut hairstyle tied neatly in a half up bun behind her and bright brown eyes that calmly scanned the room.
Nobita blinked in surprise.
Isn't she...
His eyes widened.
She was the same girl he had seen earlier beating up those bullies.
The girl smiled politely.
"Hello, everyone."
"My name is Andriette Maylor."
"It's nice to meet you all."
"I hope we'll get along."
The class applauded again.
Nobita couldn't help staring at her for another moment.
So she's a scholarship student.
The teacher nodded with satisfaction.
"You may choose any empty seats."
Andriette looked around before walking toward an empty seat near the middle of the classroom.
Kaito looked around next.
He noticed the empty seat beside Nobita.
Walking over, he smiled politely.
"Excuse me."
"May I sit here?"
"Of course," Nobita answered with a bright smile.
Kaito placed his bag beside the desk before sitting down.
"I'm Nobita."
He pointed toward the boy beside him.
"And this is Suneo."
Suneo gave a small nod.
"Nice to meet you."
"It's nice to meet both of you," Kaito replied.
The three of them chatted quietly for a few minutes until class began.
Soon, everyone settled down and the first lesson of the day started.
The morning classes passed surprisingly quickly.
Before they knew it, the lunch bell rang.
Students filled the classroom with chatter as they opened lunch boxes or headed toward the cafeteria.
After finishing their lunch, Nobita looked toward Kaito.
"Hey, Kaito."
Kaito looked up.
"Yeah?"
Nobita smiled and held out his hand.
"Do you want to be friends?"
Kaito blinked for a second before smiling warmly.
"I'd like that."
He reached out and shook Nobita's hand.
"I'm looking forward to it."
"Oi."
Suneo stretched out his own hand with a grin.
"Don't forget about me."
Kaito laughed softly before shaking Suneo's hand as well.
"Of course."
Nobita suddenly remembered something.
"By the way..."
He glanced toward Andriette, who was quietly eating by herself.
"Did you come here together?"
Kaito shook his head.
"No."
"We only met outside the principal's office this morning."
"Oh."
Nobita looked toward Suneo.
"We should go say hello to her too."
Suneo nodded.
"Let's go."
Kaito stood up as well.
The three boys walked over to Andriette's desk together.
The lunch bell rang, filling the classroom with cheerful chatter as students opened their lunch boxes or headed toward the cafeteria.
Andriette quietly picked up her lunch and walked to one of the empty desks by the window.
She liked quiet places.
Sitting down, she rested her chin on one hand and looked outside.
The clear blue sky reminded her of home.
A small sigh escaped her lips.
I wonder how Mom and Dad are doing...
It had only been a few days since she arrived in Japan, yet she already missed them.
Studying abroad had always been her dream.
She had worked harder than anyone for the scholarship, and her parents had supported her decision despite worrying about sending their only daughter so far away.
She smiled faintly.
I haven't even called them yet...
Ever since arriving, she had been busy settling into her apartment and preparing for school.
I'll call them as soon as I get home today.
Just then, a voice pulled her out of her thoughts.
"Hello."
She blinked and turned around.
Three boys were standing beside her desk.
For a moment, she simply stared at them in surprise.
"Umm..."
She pointed at herself.
"Were you talking to me?"
The boy with round glasses smiled brightly.
"Yep."
"Oh..."
She quickly stood up.
"Hello."
A small smile appeared on her face.
"It's nice to meet you."
For a second, silence settled between them. Now what do I say...?
Her fingers tightened around her lunch box.
Please don't mess this up again...
Talking to strangers had never been easy for her especially in a new country.
She could handle difficult exams.
She could even beat up bullies if she had to.
But simple conversations? Those always made her nervous.
The boy with the glasses spoke again, breaking the silence.
"We should introduce ourselves."
He pointed to himself.
"I'm Nobita."
Then to the boy beside him.
"This is Suneo."
Finally, he pointed toward the quiet black-haired boy standing next to them.
"And you've already met Kaito this morning."
Andriette nodded with a smile.
"Yes."
Nobita smiled warmly.
"Welcome to Japan."
"Welcome," Suneo added with a small nod.
Kaito smiled as well.
"We're glad you're here."
The simple words warmed Andriette's heart more than she expected.
"Thank you very much."
She gave them a small bow.
Nobita rubbed the back of his head with an awkward laugh.
"You looked a little lonely while sitting here. So I thought we'd come say hello."
Andriette blinked.
"I... looked lonely?"
"You kind of did," Suneo admitted honestly.
She laughed softly.
"I didn't even realize."
She had only been thinking about home.
Beside her, Kaito quietly stepped forward and held out his hand.
"Would you like to be friends with us?"
Andriette looked at his hand before lifting her eyes to the three smiling faces in front of her.
She had only arrived in Japan a few days ago.
Everything was new.
Everything was unfamiliar.
She had expected it to take months before making even one friend.
Yet here they were...
Reaching out to her first.
A gentle warmth spread through her chest. A genuine smile slowly appeared on her face.
"I'd love to."
She placed her hand in Kaito's.
Nobita and Suneo smiled even wider.
Before anyone could say anything else—
Ring!
The lunch bell echoed through the classroom.
"Looks like lunch break is over," Nobita said with a smile.
"We'll talk again later."
"See you," Kaito said.
"See you," Suneo added.
"See you," Andriette replied with a small wave.
As the three boys returned to their seats, she looked down at her hand for a brief moment.
A quiet smile remained on her face.
For the first time since arriving in Japan... She no longer felt alone.
The final bell rang, bringing the school day to an end.
Students quickly began packing their bags as conversations filled the classroom.
Nobita zipped up his bag before turning to Kaito.
"Kaito."
"Hm?"
"I want to introduce you to my brother, my sister, and the rest of our friends. Would you like to come with us?"
Kaito hesitated for a moment.
"I..."
Seeing his expression, Nobita smiled reassuringly.
"You don't have to if you don't want to. I just thought it'd be nice for you to meet everyone."
Kaito shook his head.
"No... It's not that."
He rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.
"I'm just a little nervous."
Nobita chuckled.
"There's nothing to worry about."
"They're all really nice."
Before they could leave, Suneo looked toward Andriette.
"We should invite Andriette too."
"Good idea."
The three of them walked over to her desk.
She was looking down at her phone, typing a message.
"Andriette," Nobita called.
She looked up.
"Hm?"
Suneo smiled.
"We're going to meet our other friends after school. Would you like to come with us?"
"Sure."
She smiled back.
"I'd love to."
She looked at the phone in her hand.
"But I need to make a quick phone call first. You guys go ahead, I'll catch up."
"No problem," Nobita said.
"Don't take too long."
"I won't."
The three boys left the classroom while Andriette stepped into the hallway.
She leaned against the corridor railing before calling her mother.
The call connected after only a few rings.
"Hi, Mom."
As she listened to her mother's familiar voice, the small homesickness in her heart eased.
They chatted happily for a few minutes.
While talking, Andriette casually glanced through the classroom window.
Her eyes widened slightly.
Two girls near the back of the classroom had quietly shared a goodbye kiss before quickly pulling apart.
"..."
Andriette blinked once.
Then, pretending she had seen absolutely nothing, she calmly looked away and continued walking down the hallway while finishing her phone call.
I'll just... leave them to their moment.
A small smile tugged at the corner of her lips.
After saying goodbye to her parents, she put her phone away and started looking for Nobita and the others.
It didn't take long before she spotted them standing with a larger group of students near the school entrance.
Those must be their friends.
She walked over.
Meanwhile...
Daiken, Dekisugi, Gian, Daiya, and Jaiko were waiting near the entrance.
As soon as Nobita appeared, Daiken smiled.
"There you are."
Nobita grinned.
"Brother!"
"I made two new friends today."
Daiken reached over and gently ruffled his hair.
"Already?"
"That was fast."
Nobita laughed.
"I wanted you all to meet them."
Kaito had been standing quietly behind Nobita and Suneo, almost hidden from view.
"Well?"
Daiken asked with a smile.
"Where are they?"
Nobita and Suneo stepped aside together.
"There."
For a brief moment...
Everything seemed to go quiet.
Daiken's eyes met Kaito's.
Neither of them spoke.
Neither of them looked away.
It only lasted a few seconds... Yet somehow, it felt longer.
Neither of them understood why.
They had never met before.
So why did it suddenly feel like the world around them had disappeared?
"Kaito?"
A familiar voice broke the silence.
Both boys blinked at the same time.
The moment ended.
Andriette had finally reached them.
She leaned slightly toward Nobita and whispered, "Did I... interrupt something?"
Nobita looked from Daiken... to Kaito... then back again.
"...Maybe."
Andriette tilted her head.
"Huh?"
He scratched his cheek.
"I'm... actually not sure either."
She looked even more confused.
"...Okay?"
Suneo laughed quietly.
Nobita clapped his hands once.
"Anyway!"
"Let me introduce everyone."
He pointed toward Kaito first.
"This is Kaito Tanaka."
Then toward Andriette.
"And this is Andriette Maylor."
"They're both new students."
"Today was their first day at our school."
The group smiled warmly.
"Nice to meet you."
"Welcome!"
"It's great to meet you both."
Kaito and Andriette bowed politely.
"It's nice to meet everyone."
Daiya suddenly clapped excitedly.
"Yay!"
"Now our group has two more members!"
Andriette blinked.
"Huh?"
"But..."
Before she could finish, Daiya clasped both hands together and looked at them with sparkling puppy eyes.
"I like you both already. Please join our group!"
Kaito smiled awkwardly.
"But... we've only just met."
Daiken smiled gently.
"You don't have to decide right away."
"But if you'd like to..."
"We'd be happy to have you."
Kaito glanced at Andriette.
She smiled back.
After a moment, they both nodded.
"We'd love to."
"Thank you."
Daiya pumped her fist into the air.
"Yay!"
"Now there are four girls in our group!"
Daiken chuckled and gently patted her head.
"You've already started counting?"
"Of course!"
Andriette looked around in confusion.
"Four?"
"I only see three... including me."
Nobita looked around as well.
"Oh."
"You're right."
"Where's Shizuka?"
Just then—
"I'm here, Nobita."
