It was Innessa's birthday. The year Innessa turned 18.

Ivanov made Alexander stood beside Innessa and then he and Ariadna stood on the other side. Soon every family members and friends gathered around her and she cut the cake

slowly Innessa feed the cake to everyone and looked at Alexander who was standing silently with a blank face

After Alexander left at the age of 13 when Innessa was just 4 years old. This was the first time he came back to Zverev mansion. He studied in London. And in these past 14 years Ivanov and Ariadna visited him multiple times in UK, but he didn’t return home.

Later after he stepped in the business and took over the CEO position he said he needed privacy to focus on his work and didn’t stay at home though he was in Russia.

Whenever they talked in video calls and Innessa tried to talk to him, or take a look at him he hung up making excuses.

When he left Innessa was just 4 years old..so she didn’t remember his face as well as after a long time she almost forgot she has a brother..adopted but still her brother.

Ariadna keep talking about him and that's how she knew she has a brother..A brother she never saw.

In these days.. 5 days to be exact..Innessa knew it was not tiredness or anything.. It was just he didn’t want to eat the cake.

Because he hated her..And he never really tried to hide it. He ignored her, never talked to her and more so, left the table even if he was not done with food when she approached the table.

Innessa was standing while leaning on the railing and looking at the sky and in between Dmitry came and all this happened.. So when Innessa pulled her hands back forcefully her legs slipped, and she started falling down the height.

Not only the water was calm..he was also as calm as the water. And this is how he is! Always calm and calculative. He speaks so less that it's impossible to get more than 2 sentences out of his mouth at once!
