The bell finally rang making almost all the students want to dance in happiness, but nobody moved as they patiently waited for the professor to exist the class.

“ Aren't you done yet” this would have come as a shock to others but not him Jayden Knight, his usual act and yet up to this moment not even the head of school could do anything about his behavior because of his background.

“ Mr Jay you could excuse yourself i-if y-you w-wi-wish” the professor stammered as he is already getting scared out of his wits.

“ What about these students, I guess everyone here would love to eat, huh?” this time his voice got even lazier.

“ y-you you're right, then, class that will be all for today see you in the next class ”and the professor quickly scram out of the class like his life depended on it.

Just as everyone left the class Jay's friend jogged in as casual as he normally did

“ It's lunchtime dummy ” his tone carrying that usual playful tinge to it

“ Yes I didn't hear the bell and I definitely don't know it's time for lunch ” his tone was as sarcastic as ever

“ Since you already know move it ” Mike playfully kicks his butt before running out of the class though, it seems like they were just having fun,but you definitely don't want to see a riled up Jayden.

It didn't take long for Jayden to catch up to Mike

“ hey hey hey before you do anything I have something to tell you ” Mike looked pitiful at this moment and Jayden could not waste his time getting annoyed by him

“ what is it ”

“ There's a new student in school ”

“ and that's supposed to be my business how”

“ he's pretty hot, it doesn't really matter but your position as #1 hottie will come to an end”

“ you're such........ Ahhhhh.... I don't even know what to say, fine I don't care buttt I will definitely get a new bestie ” he faked annoyance

After their little chat they got to the cafeteria and Maya was already there waiting, don't get it wrong she's also their childhood friend and definitely not interested in any of them especially Jayden I mean he's dating someone and that someone is Ella, super possessive Alpha female.

“ have you been waiting long sweetie” Mike using a baby voice asks Maya

“ don't ever call me that if you still want your head attached to your body ” Maya warns with a scoff

“ hish you guys always treat me like this, why do I feel like you don't love me anymore ” this time both Jayden and Maya looked at him with obvious disgust

“ who the fuck ever loved you before ” Maya asked looking at him like she just found her prey

While the oblivious Mike was still in character, and of course Jay had long gone into dream land

“ so you never loved me, ouch and I gave up everything to love you guys, but I know Jayden still loves me right Jay ” ‘quiet’ then he finally turned to look at Jayden

“ he had already slept of a while ago ” Maya said as she focused back on her food and yes it was already like a daily routine for her

‘ get to the cafeteria first order food for her and Mike and nothing for Jayden he prefers to sleep instead of eating, but up till now she still doesn't add Ella to that routine even after a whole year of knowing her, she doesn't hate her neither does she like her’.

Just as Mike and Maya continued their bickering Ella suddenly out of nowhere sat down on one of the empty chairs with a squeak “ hellloo everyone ”

“ hi there”Mike was the only one who replied, guess it's because of his nature he's just too free with everyone

“ uuu this baby is already sleeping ” she remarks looking at Jayden affectionately, if possible you could see heart flying all over her head, and just like everyone have a routine in their group she got comfortable relaxing her head oh Jayden outstretched elbow while gently stroking his hair while the fellow slept comfortably.

Just as everyone was getting back to what there were doing the front door of the cafeteria burst open and all eyes turned to look of course except Ella who was staring at her lover, Jayden who was fast asleep and last of all Maya who loves to mind her business but not Mike who wants to know the latest gist if possible.

The next thing that filled the cafeteria were gasps and drooling as both guys and girls wanted to drop dead at the new beauty the new hottie whose news has been circulating around the school on how hot he was and just then his eyes locked to one table, one person in particular.

The new student casually strolled in, he really didn't seem to care wherever he sat but there's only on empty sit and that's we're Jayden and he's friends sat so you get the idea.

Now he was standing directly in front of their table,

“ is this sit taken” he wasn't as rude as everyone had expected from a new hottie

“ no, have a sit ” Mike answered with sparkles in his eyes.

Even after sitting down the way Mike was looking at him started to get uncomfortable for him

“ forgive his childishness, he's just infatuated not in love he acts like this with everyone that's as much as pretty so don't take it personal” Maya explains and he gave her a slight nod

“ by the way I'm Maya and this is my friend Mike ” Maya introduced and before he could reply Mike jumped in

“ yeah Michael but you could call me Mike and that's Jayden but he's asleep now and that's his girlfriend Ella ”

“ what what ” Ella jolts up looking at Mike with wide eyes

“ what what your problem why looking at me like a creep ” Mike asked moving back a little

“ you called ”

“ oh no I was just introducing you to the newbie here”

Ella finally spares him a glance “ hi there I'm Ella Jay's girlfriend ” she casually said with a wide smile, she didn't stick around much as she returned to stroking Jay's hair.

“ just live those two love birds, you're get used to puking anytime you're around them” Mike said as he fake gags

“ oh then, I better maintain distance ” this time he replied without any interruption

“ oo yeah what's your name, you didn't introduce yourself ” Maya asked looking at him as she continues to eat her food

“ I'm Aleric Valtor, Alec for short” Alec introduced himself as patiently and nicely as he could muster

“ then I bet we're going to be best of friends Alec ” Mike beams with a smile

“ ahh before I forget what were you doing out late at night Maya” Mike questioned as he looked at her

“ where you following me ”

“ no I just went out for an evening walk and happens to see you ”

“ I went out by 12am midnight and you say evening walk ”

“ ok ok fine you caught me so what were you doing ”

“ your work for the past 5 years asshole”

“ oh that I promise to continue from today don't stress your ........”

Yourself anymore, this time I will keep my word and do my work ” Maya completed his statement “ you've said that times over and over again, I don't wish to believe false promises ”

before Mike could think of what to say the bell rang, oh I need to explain, this is a college they're already done with high school but the bell thing was a new rule for students who aren't sure of the time especially newbies

“ we have things to do man, Jay get your ass up ” Mike walked around the table to were Jayden sat.

“ uhhhh” Jay groan but didn't make any attempts on getting up, just then Maya taps his shoulder

‘ Jay slowly raises his head a bit, only his eyes were visible ’

Maya shows him her phone and the contents on the screen made Jay eyes slightly widen and soon he strolling out of the cafeteria not even glancing at Alec nor Ella, even once.

“ ahh see ya ” and Mike was scurrying out of the cafeteria too.

Now both Ella's and Alec's eyes were on Maya, who finally took the last bite of her food ever so calmly and casually, she slowly gets up, faced Ella

“ thank you for the food ” she bowed almost 360 degree before casually strolling out of the cafeteria to join those hot headed boys.

Alec's eyes were filled with slight amusement at these three friends and their different personalities

“ Don't get too freaked out about Maya, it's just strict home training to always thank someone after eating ” Ella explains though Alec never asked.

“ I think in better words she just have impeccable manners and definitely do not wish to have to go against any even in front of age mates ” Alec seems to get them much more than even Ella could,

On the other hand Ella felt somewhat intimidated by him.

“ it's his sister again for sure, no wonder he's so agitated, haa ‘ scoff’ he never gets like that with me but for his sister he acts like the world is about to collapse ” Ella angrily mumbled still looking in the direction we're they all went.

Alec was not up for a jealous girlfriend and he didn't think he had any obligations to tell her he has other things to do so he just got up and left as well, though not directly to class but he followed the sense Jayden gave of in the cafeteria, he wanted to know what exactly he wanted to do even though it wasn't inside the school.

With a small smirk he matched out of the school gate with slow striding steps.
