Eclipse Island

Episode 1 — Five Classes, One Curse

In the heart of Blackwick City, the Blackthorn Boarding Academy stood like a fortress of destiny. It was not just a school — it was the world’s most dangerous proving ground, where only the strongest, smartest, and most cunning students survived long enough to graduate.

Here, strength meant more than muscle. Some endured through raw power, others through sharp intellect, and a rare few through perfection in every skill. Every exam was a trial by fire — survival tests, battles, and challenges designed to break the weak and crown the worthy.

The academy was divided into five legendary Tams, each a kingdom of its own:

Cyrus – The Sun’s Fury: Energetic, fast, and powerful students who thrived on strength and raw combat.

Elysia – The Gentle Shield: Kind, protective, soldier‑like students who fought not only for themselves but for others.

Lunaria – The Wild Cards: Playful, teasing, yet dangerously intelligent — the most unpredictable and talented minds.

Seleric – Calm After Thunder: Silent, disciplined, and fast. Students who struck with precision after waiting for the perfect moment.

Thorn – The Shadows: The rarest and most feared class. Perfect in strength, speed, and intellect. Students of Thorn controlled everything — feared by all, envied by many. To join Thorn was the ultimate dream, but also the hardest curse.

Every student lived under the weight of rankings and points, earned through survival tests, duels, and missions. The academy was not just about learning — it was about proving who deserved to exist in a world built on power.

That night, as thunder rolled over Blackwick, whispers spread through the halls. “A new trial is coming,” one student murmured nervously. “This time… it won’t just decide rankings.” The words carried like smoke, curling into every corridor. Another voice answered, hushed but trembling: “They say even Thorn might fall.”

The night sky shimmered like shattered glass. Beneath the towers and neon haze stood Blackthorn Academy, its golden lights piercing the mist — a castle of secrets in a city that never slept.

Inside its walls, silence was never truly silent. Every corridor whispered ambition, rivalry, and fear. Students trained like soldiers, their minds sharpened into weapons. Among them, one name echoed louder than the rest — Luen Cassian.

He walked alone through the marble hall, his reflection fractured in the glass windows. Handsome, calm, and unreadable — the academy’s top student, the leader of the highest class. Yet tonight, something felt wrong.

A chill brushed his neck. A shadow moved behind him. He turned — nothing.

But the feeling lingered, heavy and cold, as if the academy itself was watching. The air itself seemed to breathe, carrying the weight of secrets untold. Somewhere deep within the walls, a clock struck midnight — its echo sharp, final, and foreboding.

Luen paused, his hand brushing the cold stone wall. For a moment, he thought he heard a whisper — faint, almost like the academy itself speaking. “Survive… or be forgotten.” He clenched his jaw, dismissing it as imagination, yet the words clung to him like frost.

Outside, thunder roared over Blackwick. The moon hung low, pale and trembling. And somewhere beyond the city’s edge, an island waited — cursed, forgotten, and calling his name.

Episode 2 — Captains Summoned

First, let’s meet our lead properly.

Luen Cassiano — just beginning his fourth year. Captain of the feared Thorn Team. Tall, six feet, handsome, green eyes, sharp jawline — flawless in every way. His personality was quiet, smart, strong, and talented. He always chose logic over emotion, and his ambition was clear: to one day lead Blackwick City itself.

His neatness was legendary. His mere presence silenced rooms; to some he was a model, to others a rival, and to many… a threat. Yetbehind all perfection, Luen hid a strange secret no one knew.

Back to the scene.

Luen returned to his dorm. Blackthorn Academy’s dormitories were split — one for girls, one for boys. Each semester, roommates were shuffled randomly, a bizarre rule meant to force students to adapt to different personalities and build unexpected bonds.

Over the years, Luen had already endured six different roommates. Now, at the start of his fourth year, he was assigned a new room. Two beds, a balcony, an attached washroom, a table, and cabinets.

But the room felt like two different worlds — one side neat and orderly, the other side chaotic, like a battlefield after a party.

Luen opened the door, scanned the room with sharp eyes, then walked to his desk by the window. He sat, opened his notebook, and began writing. His gaze drifted once more to the other side — his roommate’s bed was a disaster, papers scattered across the table, clothes tossed everywhere.

Just then, the washroom door slammed open with a loud THUD. Luen’s pencil froze mid‑sentence, his eyes flicking toward the sound.

Standing there was his new roommate.

Seren Forbes — fourth year, captain of the Lunaria Team. Tall, 5’11, white hair, brown eyes. Personality: playful, teasing, mocking, loud, energetic. Strong, dangerously intelligent, unpredictable. Loved chaos, adored by Lunaria fans, admired by many students — but feared too, because messing with him never ended well. Flirty, but never serious.

Seren leaned against the doorframe, wet hair dripping, wearing a casual t‑shirt and sweater. His grin was wide, his voice loud:

“Oi, Luen! Since you’re so talented, help me choose an outfit. I’m going somewhere… you know what I mean.”

Luen stared at him for two solid seconds, then replied calmly:

“That depends on where you’re going. Tell me first.”

Seren laughed, flopped onto his bed, and ruffled his hair.

“I’m meeting a girl. She’s beautiful. Second year. Her name’s Akari. Now tell me — what should I wear?”

Luen blinked three times, then said flatly:

“Break up before you start. Don’t waste time.”

He turned back to his notebook, resuming his writing as if nothing had happened.

Seren’s grin vanished instantly. He blinked three times, then exploded:

“HAHH? I haven’t even started a relationship yet! What do you mean—”

But before he could finish, a knock echoed at the main door.

Both boys froze. Luen’s pencil stopped mid‑stroke. Seren’s words died in his throat.

Knock. Knock.

The sound came again.

Seren clicked his tongue before pushing himself off the bed with an exaggerated sigh. “Fine, I’m going. If this turns out to be something pointless… somebody’s getting scolded tonight.”

He pulled the door open.

A girl stood quietly outside. Short crimson hair. A neat bob cut. Black eyes. Perfect posture.

Akari Risania — fourth‑year student, member of the Seleric team. Height: 5’4. Quiet. Talented. Fast learner. Highly disciplined. Observant enough to notice everything around her, yet rarely spoke unless necessary. A gentle smile almost always rested on her face.

She blinked once after seeing Seren. Then asked politely, “Captain Seren Forbes of Lunaria? Is Thorn Captain Luen Cassiano inside?”

Ignoring Seren’s teasing, she delivered her message calmly:

“The Academy Authority has announced an emergency meeting. All team captains are required to attend immediately.”

Silence.

Seren’s eyebrows shot upward. Luen remained expressionless for three full seconds. Then Seren suddenly burst out, “HAH?! A meeting? Right now? My date was going to be legendary… and now I’m stuck in some boring meeting!”

Akari frowned. Luen finally spoke, short and simple: “Understood. We’ll be there.”

Akari nodded politely. “Thank you.” Without another word, she turned away, though her eyes lingered on Luen for a heartbeat longer than necessary.

Ten minutes later, the two captains walked through the dim corridors toward the Academy’s meeting hall. Seren whistled softly, hands in his pockets, carefree as always. Luen walked in silence, posture straight, lost in thought.

Sudden meetings weren’t unusual for captains of powerful teams — but tonight felt different.

As they approached, the meeting room door stood slightly ajar. From inside came the low murmur of voices — uneasy, hushed, like people waiting for bad news. The air was heavy. The lights flickered.

And somewhere deep within the Academy walls… shadows moved.

Episode 3 - calm meets chaos

Luen quietly closed the dormitory door behind him.

A familiar silence greeted him.

The room was exactly what he expected...

At least, half of it.

His side was spotless. The bed was perfectly made. Books were arranged by height on the shelf. Every pen sat neatly inside its holder, and not a single sheet of paper was out of place.

The other half looked as though a storm had swept through.

Clothes were draped over a chair.

Books lay open across the desk.

A jacket hung from the ceiling fan.

Several empty snack wrappers rested on the floor like forgotten trophies.

Luen stood there for a moment.

"...Unbelievable."

He sighed almost silently before walking to his desk beside the window.

His notebook opened.

His pen moved.

The room fell into silence once again.

...

BANG!

The washroom door flew open.

Luen's pen stopped.

Standing there was a young man with damp white hair, casually drying it with a towel slung over one shoulder.

A lazy grin spread across his face as though the world existed solely for his entertainment.

"Yo."

He leaned against the doorway.

"So..."

His eyes wandered over Luen's perfectly organized side of the room.

"...You're that Luen Cassian."

Luen looked up briefly.

"And you're Seren Forbes."

"Wow."

Seren chuckled.

"We haven't even lived together for five minutes, and you already know my name."

"I read the roommate list."

"...You're no fun."

Seren laughed before walking over to his wardrobe.

He stared at the clothes inside with exaggerated seriousness.

Then, without warning...

"Oi, Luen."

No response.

"I've got an important question."

Still writing, Luen answered calmly,

"...Go ahead."

Seren pulled out two shirts.

One black.

One navy.

He held them up dramatically.

"I'm going on a date."

He flashed a confident grin.

"Which one says 'I'm handsome enough to ruin her life'?"

Luen didn't even look up.

"Neither."

Seren blinked.

"...Excuse me?"

"You'll save more time by cancelling it."

Silence.

A heartbeat passed.

Then another.

Seren slowly lowered the shirts.

"...I haven't even started dating her."

"I know."

"And you're already telling me to break up?"

"Correct."

"...Why?"

Luen finally looked at him.

"Efficiency."

For two full seconds...

Seren simply stared.

Then he clutched his head dramatically.

"What kind of advice is that?!"

Luen returned to his notebook as if the conversation had never happened.

"I prefer practical solutions."

"You are impossible."

"And you're loud."

"I am charismatic."

"You're noisy."

"I'm unforgettable."

"That too."

Seren folded his arms.

"...You know, people warned me about you."

"They were right."

"...You're actually funny."

"I wasn't joking."

Before Seren could answer...

Knock.

Both of them stopped.

A single knock echoed through the room.

Neither moved.

"...Were you expecting someone?" Seren asked.

Luen slowly closed his notebook.

"No."

Another knock came.

Knock.

This one felt... heavier.

The room grew strangely cold.

Even Seren's smile faded.

Neither of them noticed the lightning flashing beyond the balcony...

Or the shadow that vanished from the corridor window.

Whoever stood outside...

...was about to change everything.
