*Everyone in vasedonia was expectant for the new royal. It was a stormy night, outside the castle pouring rain was giving chills in vasedonia's core.

Kavery who was the most trusted and loyal servant spoke in a trembling voice “ My lord the queen couldn't make it ”

The vampire king Surya frozed , he knew that Queen Ashwariya couldn't make it after all she is a human. Plus it was her sixth pregnancy and the seventh child. King Sureya look at the newborn in kavery's arms.

Kavery handed king the little baby girl " it's a girl what will you name the princess?" She asked curiously.

King Surya looked at Kavery with his ruby red eyes “Call all the princes.” he commanded in a soft voice.

Kavery bowed low “of course My lord” before rushing out to fetch the little princes.

Few minutes later the grand oak doors crecked open. Six young gentleman walked in prince Arun was leading them followed closely by prince Raghav, Vikram, Jay and the two twins princes Lav & kush. They can feel the heavy greefness in the room, but still their eyes were locked to their father.

Arun the oldest spoke first his voice some ward concerned and understanding

“Father, Kavery ammu said you summoned us.Is mother okay.”

King Surya didn't speak right away. He stood up from his throne, gently cradling a small bundle wrapped with fine silk and stepped down to their eye level.

The six brothers gathered around him in a tight circle, looking curious but deeply worried.

King Surya slowly pulled down the silk blanket “Your mother has passed away. But she left us a beautiful precious Jem.” Inside there was a breathtaking beautiful baby girl. Even as a newborn she had slightly long silver wavy strands of hair. And when she blinked up at them, her wide eyes glowed with the luminous beauty of a full moon.

King Surya lovingly looked at the little baby “Hello, I have a surprise for you all This is your little sister.” Raghav the most observant pointed the point to his father a hint of concern in his voice “She is a half blooded vampire like us, isn't she”

King Surya sighed heavily “Yes. She is half - blooded. And you all know what that means for our kind.”. the king looked out of the window at the stormy weather , his face hardens as he thought of the upcoming year which is going to be dangerous for the new born.

King Surya looked at his sons, his voice pierced through the silence “Like all of you, when she hits her transition years between ten to fourteen, the sun will be her biggest enemy. A single stray of sunlight will be enough to burn her to ashes even before her adult immunity kicks in. The world outside will try to exploit that weakness.”

Suddenly, the king Surya' s eyes flashed a dangerous bright blood red, demanding the absolute attention of his sons. His tone turned serious “Look at me, all of you! Especially during those fragile years, you must be her shadows. From this night on, your main duty in life is to protect her from the world, and from the sun.” his voice loud enough so that the baby doesn't get startled and the brothers gets a little intimidated.

Arun was the first person to speak “I swear it, Dad! No one would ever hurt her, and if anyone thinks of it then they will be dead. We will keep her safe in the dark.“

Vikram cracked his knuckles “ Anyone who dares to drag her in sunlight will fight me first!“

Jay, luv and kush spoke at the same time ”We promise that we will keep her safe and make sure that her smile never dies.“

Everyone took out their swords and without hesitation made a small cut across their palm. “By the ancient blood that binds us, we swear this oath. Our shadows will be her fortress.Our swords will be her dawn. May the sun burn our flesh to ash if we let the light touch her.May our hearts cease to beat if her smile is ever stolen. We are her shields. We are her dark.Blood of our blood, until the world ends.We take this blood oath until our death."

For a few seconds Jay looked at the newborn confused, and it caught Arun's attention ”What are you thinking about jay?“. Jay got a little startled and quickly look at every one then his eyes got fixed on his father ”No, I was just thinking what will be her name?“ He asked curiously and also made other brothers curious.

A heavy silence fell over the room as King Surya' s gaze drifted down to the peaceful newborn, his blood-red eyes softening into an ancient, profound warmth. He lifted his chin, his voice carrying the immense weight of a royal decree as he spoke the name that would forever alter their destiny. "Her name is Isha," the King declared, the words hanging in the air like a sacred vow.”Isha Roy Choudhury. She is the first light of our darkest night, and the sole heir to everything we protect."

The brothers stared at their little sister in awe, the grand, noble name echoing in their minds as they realized they weren't just protecting a baby—they were guarding the future of their entire bloodline.
