         Third Person's Point Of View :

This universe was unique, it was the world for angels and demons, here they lived together, This was an alternative universe of the 21st century.There was no dispute between them only harmony existed. With this harmony existed a bond, a bond so beautiful that words couldn't define it. A bond between an angel and a demon, the bond between Rhea Vane and Ray Herrington.

Rhea and Ray, were friends since birth, inseparable, always looking out for each other and having each other's back.

July 12th, 2021

It was a beautiful summer morning, the sun had started its climb, adding light and warmth to the world below. Between roses and books lay Rhea engrossed in her book when she felt someone's presence behind her, without turning back she said, "Good morning, Ray." He came, and sat next to her tucking a white rose behind her hair. This was their usual routine, Rhea would always be here in their shared garden reading her book, and he would come behind her quietly. She'd wish him good morning, and he'd sit next to her and would tuck a rose behind her ear.

" I have to take you somewhere." said Ray "Where? " She asked. He only forwarded his hand towards her and she took it. Soon they reached a room which smelled like paint and creativity. It was his art room. He signaled her to look at a canvas that was facing a chair. She looked at it and a small smile crept on her face seeing the portrait her heart filled with warmth.

It was her, wearing a pink dress, hair open moving with the wind, a big smile was plastered on her face, a bird was sitting on her hand, it was all captured so beautifully that it left a person awestruck.

" It's beautiful." she said "You're beautiful." he replied. Rhea's cheeks were painted with pink as she heard him.

August 9th, 2021

Rhea was getting dragged by Ray into the kitchen as he wanted her to make something for him. She rolled up her sleeves and was about to tie her apron when Ray tied it smoothly and slowly like he had done it countless times. Then Rhea took out the ingredients and started teaching him how to make Lasagna, soon it was ready, and she dished it out while Ray placed it on the table. Ray took a bite while Rhea was looking at her with expecting eyes. " It's the best lasagna I've ever had." He said "You always say that whenever I cook." She replied" It's true whatever you do is perfect." She placed her chicken in his bowl and as he tried to put it back she said she finished eating, as always. She always did that because she knew that Ray really enjoyed eating chicken, so she always makes it with every dish.

September 1st, 2021

They were at Ray's house, having dinner when his father stormed in and grabbed him by his collar but the second his hand held Ray he was pushed back with a force so strong it made him crash to the nearby wall. " You dare use your powers against me, orphan." He said " If you touch him again I'll use them to your death" She replied. " I think you're forgetting what happens when someone stands against me." Luscious Herrington, Ray's father, said. "And I think you're forgetting what I can do to you." she said

" You better get out of his house now!" she further added. Luscious clenched his jaw and left without saying anything leaving a grinning Ray and a furious Rhea behind.

           Rhea's Point Of View :

I am an orphan, I lost my parents when I was 1 year old, my aunt and uncle took care of me after them. I don't remember much about them but their death, that made me hate Luscious Herrington. If I could, I would kill him, but I can't, it's against the very rules of my existence. As a protector angel I can only protect Ray and others from that monster.

 You must be wondering about this world right? So this is the world where we angels and demons live together, and the demons aren't as bad as you've read of them, they are nice just like my Ray. Some demons like that Luscious are pathetic but ignoring them and reminding them of their place is best.

So, there are different types of angels and demons, I am a protector angel, which means that I can protect people from harm and negative thoughts, but I cannot hurt anyone it doesn't matter how bad they are my duty is protection only. Ray's duty is well complicated so let's not talk about it. We all have our duties to do and maintain the balance in the universe. That's all I can say.

October 13th, 2021

"Wanna go see the fireworks?" asked Ray "Yeah." replied Rhea. And in no time they were in the sky, the contrast between Ray's thick and dark wings and Rhea's light and white wings was just like how the sun and moon differed, so different yet so alike. From above they could see other angels and demons, from using their powers to lift objects to helping the little ones, to using their powers to defeat hearts filled with vile. Soon they reached the mountain of wishes, a mountain where only one wish you make comes true. Every year there was a firework festival there. The moment they let their wings fall the sky lit up with different colored fireworks illuminating the dark sky just like how kindness illuminates a heart filled with melancholy and vile." It's pretty isn't it." said Rhea " It sure is." replied Ray while looking at Rhea, she was wearing a light blue dress that complimented her blue eyes well, her hair moving freely in the wind, she had her eyes closed with a big smile on her face. Seeing her Ray also closed his eyes, and right then Rhea opened her eyes, taking in the sight of Ray, he was wearing a midnight black suit, his hair was covering his eyes but one could tell his eyes were closed, his face was completely relaxed. Both of them felt free from their duties and past. Under the glowing sky they finally realized how they felt.

           Rhea's Point Of View:

Looking at him being so relaxed made me smile without realizing. It filled my heart with warmth. I finally realized that I loved him.

             Ray's Point Of View:

I saw her looking at the sky with those sparkling eyes that make me fall in love with them every time I look into them. I had realized my feelings for her long ago.

Third Person's Point Of View:

Ray's mom, an angel married his dad because she fell in love with him. luscious only married her because of her father's influence. After a year of marriage, Ray was born. 5 years later when his mother got to know about his father's affair. She was going to her dad, so she could end this marriage. But before she could do so it started thundering and a thunderbolt fell on her leading to her death. But she wasn't the only one who died that day, Rhea's parents went with her as they were afraid that luscious had planned something to harm her. They weren't wrong he did plan something. The woman he had an affair with was the angel who controlled thunder. And the moment they covered half of the distance she used her ultimate power and they died right there. They had informed everyone about this thunder but they kept them in the dark about it. After years Rhea's uncle and aunt told them about it. But they couldn't do anything about it because they did not have proof to do something to him. They have been looking for proof to make luscious pay for what he did. Luscious killed that woman after using her afraid she might snitch on him. He couldn't do anything to Ray and Rhea because when Rhea's parents and Ray's mom were struck by thunder they fell on the mountain of wish and the wishes they made where that no one could harm their kids in any way. That's why luscious can't do anything to them. Ever since his mother died Ray only smiled while he was with Rhea. After that Luscious has been controlling Ray threatening him that if he didn't listen to him then he should say bye-bye to Rhea's uncle and aunt who were family to him. He was left with no choice but to listen to him. He asked him to go abroad. So before going we wanted to propose to her.

2nd November, 2021

Ray and Rhea were currently in the market. Rhea wanted to buy a gift for him, and he refused to let her go alone. So here they were picking strawberries because Rhea wanted to eat freshly picked strawberries. Ray had been picking up strawberries for the past 30 minutes while Rhea was complaining about bugs. "Eww this was crawling on me " she screamed " let's go now I don't want to eat strawberries anymore" saying that she grabbed Ray's hand and they both went out of the farm. After walking for about 5 minutes in silence Rhea broke the silence saying, " You know I didn't even want those strawberries, I just wanted to spend time with you." after she said so her stomach grumbled, and her cheeks turned red in embarrassment Ray chuckled and placed the basket full of strawberries that he had been holding which Rhea failed to notice. " When did you pick them? " asked Rhea " when you were complaining about bugs."

After that they went to a shop and Rhea pushed Ray out of the shop, so she could buy his present. She went to the owner of the shop and asked, "Is it here?" The owner replied, "Yes." He then picked up the wrapped box from behind the counter and slid it towards her. " Thank you " she said "You must really love him, you've been coming here regularly for a whole year to help me in the shop so you could buy him this camera." said the owner " He loves capturing things, and he wanted it for a long time, but he has been saving up for something else I don't know what tho, so I decided to buy him this." Saying that she left.

Rhea's Point Of View:

I'm in the field of Dandelions, with a paper and pen in hand. I'm writing a love letter for him. I want to give this to him on his birthday which is in 2 days.

Sitting at my desk, with the paper Infront of me and the pen in my hand, today I am writing a love letter to my Rhea. I want to give it to her before my birthday.

Your smile keeps on replaying in my mind since the day I saw you. Your voice is what keeps me sain. Your heart is what I call mine. Your soul is what i want mine to be tied to. You are the sunshine that lights up my cloudy world. Your nature is what blooms my wilted flower. You are the warmth I crave on rainy days. The Proposal

Ray had prepared a perfect proposal for Rhea. In the mountains, nowadays, there is a lot of fog there. He prepared a big heart shaped decorative piece with white roses, tulips, daisies and peonies. He also handpicked flowers from the mountains and made a bouquet. He decorated the whole area where she'd walk on from flowers. He also prepared a banner that said " would you make me complete?" He even asked the angel that controlled rain to make it rain in the end as she loved rain. He even painted a hand made painting of her and her parents. He also decided to cook her the dish her mom used to cook for her at night. He even asked a demon who was famous for his talent to play the piano to come and play it as she was a fan of him.

Ray walked in his house only to see his father towering over Rhea and saying, " If you don't ask him to leave then your pathetic little aunt and uncle will face the same fate as your parents and that stupid pet of mine " after hearing that something in him snapped, he couldn't kill him, but he himself could do so.

When he thought about this he realized something. He won't die. Before killing that woman he made her wish on the wish of mountain for eternal life and those who wish for it either for themselves or for others died. The realization made him mad. He knew if they reported him what they initially decided to do was useless because he could use his influence to get out of it. And then something clicked, and he remembered what his mom told him... " The only way to get rid of evil is to get the evil to get rid of themselves." He connected with Rhea through his mind this was a special blessing they were given by an angel whom they helped.

" I'm ready to go abroad now." Ray said taking his father's attention. His father looked surprised and gave him the I don't believe you look. " You think you can lie to me?" he said " Then let's go to the wish mountain I'll make my wish there to obey you, forever but in return you let them off the hook." Rhea said, " Are you crazy?" before she could say anything Luscious used his power and she fainted. Seeing that from instinct Ray moved towards her but Luscious gave him the glare that if you move she's done.

Without saying anything he started flying towards the mountain with an unconscious Rhea and his father trailing behind. They soon reached there and he started to make the wish. But he saw Rhea move a little and he communicated with her through the mind link.

—You good? I'm so sorry I didn't come to save you I'm so terrible, please forgive me don't be mad at me please, please– —

— Shut up, idiot I can never be mad at you, so what's the plan? —

Ray started the wish, " I wish to always be their for the people I love like my dear Rhea and to make sure my father never gets out of what I have planned." Hearing that before Luscious could do anything Andrea used her power to sheild herself and Ray and from him.

Ray Herrington, the demon with the power of Telekinesis. Used his power to wrap his telekinesis power around his father's muscle fibers, vocal cord and spine. He used his power to push his father's hand down making him unable to caste any spells.

This required a lot of power and Ray's nose started to bleed his mind was pushed to the absolute brick as Luscious' consciousness fought back trying to corrupt his mind. He didn't flinch because the only scene replaying in his mind was his mother's when she got to know the very man she loved cheated on him

Rhea wasn't in a good condition either. She was using every ounce of her energy to keep Luscious' magic under control knowing that if the shield dropped for even a nanosecond the demon would corrupt his son's mind

Then Ray pinned Luscious' limbs in a tight and unmoving position. Rhea used her power to forge a permanent, invisible cage of holy light around the frozen Luscious.He was alive but unable to move or speak for eternity. A literal statue in his own ruined throne room.

After doing so both Ray and Rhea fell to the ground unconscious.

5 YEARS LATER

Everything was peaceful now, everyone believed that Luscious died because he wanted to meet with his dead wife as he couldn't bear to live in this world without her. Everyone bought this without a doubt because once you are blinded by power nothing can bring your sight back. Ray left for abroad to make himself more capable for Rhea. The proposal never happened, the letters were never given, the birthday gifts were never given, only a heart full of desires and a mind filled with memories stayed, forever.

'"So did you guys like the story?"

" We sure did!" the kids replied.

They had been sitting there for 2 hours now, listening to the beautiful love story of an angel and a devil.

One of the kids asked, " Did Ray come back to her?"

"No, not yet but he will come soon." replied the storyteller

" A love so beautiful." one of the kids said.

A little girl said, "Then we'll come tomorrow do bring us some good stories, Rhea."

Rhea's Point Of View:

It's been 5 years now and he still hasn't come yet. I miss him every day, every breath I take reminds me of him. I see him everywhere, I need him now. I come and tell our story to these kids it feels better to let it out in front of innocent hearts. They asked me why we had the same name and I said that I was named after her. They believed it so cutely it made my heart soften. One of the kids has the same Green eyes and blonde hair as him and looking at him I can't stop my tears. He wipes my tears with those little hands of his just like he did when we were kids. My trail of thoughts were broken when some blind idiot bumped into me from behind–
