In a brightly lit classroom, where the only sources of sound were the deafening cheers of wealthy students and the frantic beating of his own heart, Daniel gasped for air. He was trembling violently, his mind racing as he stared down at his own hands. They were smooth, unblemished, and entirely free of the rough scars from years of forced labor. Wasn't I dead? The memory of freezing to death in that dark, damp alley was still burning in his mind. But the sudden, sharp movement beneath his feet snapped him back to reality.
Daniel
(gasping heavily..)
Daniel slowly looked down, and his entire world ground to a halt. Crouched on the floor right beneath his expensive leather shoes was Ethan. His school uniform was ripped, his face covered in fresh purple bruises and dirt from being kicked. But as Ethan slowly tilted his head up, his bloodshot eyes locked onto Daniel with absolute, icy malice. It was the exact same look Ethan had years later when he ruthlessly stripped Daniel of everything. Daniel's knees shook violently as the sheer terror of Ethan's future vengeance flashed before his eyes.
classmate 1: "What are you waiting for, Daniel? Finish the parasite off!"
(speaking with a hint of glee at other's misfortune)
Classmate 2: "Yeah, step on him! Hit him again!"
Daniel
(scared looking at Ethan as memories of past kept flooding his mind)
N-No... stay away from me...
Daniel
(Knocking over his desk in a blind panic, he shoved past his cheering friends and bolted out of the room, leaving the entire class in stunned silence. He sprinted down the grand marble hallways of the elite academy, his heavy breaths echoing off the walls until he slammed himself inside the bathroom.)
Daniel
(Shaking, he slowly turned toward the mirror. Staring back at him was the flawless, youthful face of his fifteen-year-old self. Taking out the phone from his pocket it read exactly ten years in the past. He had truly returned.)
Daniel
I am back
(speaks with a shaky emotional voice)
Daniel
(then he slowly starts laughing with tear streaming down his face)
I am truly back

(After calming his emotions down)
Daniel
(He stared blankly at his hands, his knuckles white from gripping the cold porcelain sink. The deafening chime of the school bell rang out, echoing sharply through the empty bathroom. It was the signal for the end of the period. He knew he couldn't hide in this bathroom forever. Taking a shaky, deep breath, he smoothed down his pristine blazer and slowly walked out into the hallway, his legs feeling heavy like lead weights.)
Daniel
(sighs as he enters the classroom and his friends come running at him)
Julian
Yo, Daniel! Where the hell did you vanish to
Sam
You literally just freaked out and bolted out. The whole class is talking about it.
Both looks at him with a worried gaze
Julian
(puts his hand on other's forhead)
You ok
Daniel
(swats other's hand away)
I... I wasn't feeling well. Let it go, Julian.
Daniel
(When he entered through the classroom door, the lively chatter died down instantly. Every eye turned to him, but his gaze immediately locked onto the back corner of the room. Ethan was sitting at his isolated desk. He had changed into a spare, oversized uniform, and he was quietly dabbing a bloody cotton pad against his split lip. He didn't look up, keeping his head low, but the intense aura of cold anger radiating from him made Daniel’s skin crawl.)
Julian
Whatever, man. Look at that loser trying to patch himself up. Let's go throw his backpack out the window to finish what you started.
Daniel
Don't touch his stuff. Leave him alone.
(looks at Julian as he remembers thinking what happened to him in the future and feels more overwhelmed afterall the only reason his friends targeted Daniel was because of him.)
Julian
Wait, what? Are you serious right now?
(bewildered at other's words as he scratches his head)
Daniel
Yes no one would bully him from now
Julian
Ahh...
(asks in confusion)
Sam
It's seems like you finally turned around good job Dan afterall it was just a rumour and you hurt him so much just because of it you should try to apologise
(smiles as he taps his friend's back)
Julian
Apologise what you are talking......
(shouts in a loud voice)
Daniel
Ignoring Julian's completely bewildered expression and statement, he walked straight past his friends. His heart hammered in his chest as he approached Ethan’s desk, stopping just a step away. Sensing the shadow towering over him, Ethan slowly halted his hand. He tilted his head upward, his dark, hollow eyes piercing right through Daniel with a terrifying mixture of raw disgust and absolute, deep-seated malice.
Ethan
(glaring with intense hatred)
Ethan
Come to finish the job, Vance? Go ahead. Do your worst.
Ethan
What's the matter? Cat got your tongue?
Daniel
(tries to speak but words doesn't come out of him mouth.)
Julian
You..
(furious at the way other is talking to Daniel he tries to walk up but Sam held him back.)
Daniel
(swallowing hard, his hands trembling in his pockets)
Daniel
(he remembers at this time the semester has just started it's been only two weeks since he met Ethan, but looking at other's bluish purple face he can't figure out why was he so extreme to hurt him)
Daniel
(yeah there were rumours, rumours that Ethan looked more like his parents and brother than Daniel ever does or that he secretly likes him and secretly steals his things but those later proved to be just rumours as the man hated him more than anything in the world as for looking like his parents well he was their real son but at that time he was indeed insecure because of his looks that don't match his family and look what he did and what he got)
Daniel
I didn't come here to fight you, Ethan.
Ethan
Oh... Then what do I owe the pleasure of you gracing your presence at my desk.
(speaks voice full of mockery)

Ethan
I... I.. What I forgot the syllables already
(keeps on speaking other in a mocking tone)
Ethan
What's the matter? Cat got your tongue?
Ethan
Or did you lose your nerve after running away like a dog?
Julian
(releases himself from Sam's hold as he walks to Ethan's desk and slams his hand hard on his desk)
Hey you pretty boy who you think you are to talk to him like this
Ethan
(smirks as he swirls his pencil in his hand)
A human with usable brain, you know brain right it is something not everyone can use.
Julian
(takes time to understand other is mocking him making his face turn red from anger as he points finger towards Ethan)
You
Daniel
(holds the other as he is familiar with Ethan's habit of thinking of doing something wherever he swirls anything on his fingers and that something is always bad for others.)
Julian
(again shocked at other)
What bu...
Sam
(interrupt Julian as he directly pulls him)
Let's go sir will come soon
Julian
Huh... But it's self study period
Sam
(rolls his eyes as he pulls other away muttering lowly)
You sure remember that huh
Ethan
(looks at Daniel)
What do you want more huh...
Daniel
I didn't come here to fight you, Ethan.
A wave of quiet murmurs and confused whispers rippled across the room. Julian and the other wealthy heirs exchanged bewildered glances, completely thrown off by Daniel's unnaturally soft, cautious tone. Ethan’s eyes narrowed into slits, his grip tightening around the blood-soaked cotton pad in his hand until his knuckles turned entirely white. He clearly didn't buy a single word of it.
Ethan
Stop playing games, Vance. Just tell me what sick stunt you're planning next.
Daniel
(takes a deep breath as really can't bring himself to say it...
But he also know that he must say it this is something he wanted to say to the other when he really stepped into his shoes a deep felt apology that's long been overdue.)
Daniel
I...
(takes a deep breath)
I'm sorry. For everything.
Before Ethan could even process the shocking apology, Daniel quickly reached into his expensive school blazer, pulled out a small, unopened antiseptic patch, and gently dropped it onto the corner of the wooden desk. Without looking back to see the utter shock frozen on Ethan's bruised face, Daniel spun on his heel and walked straight out of the school building.
