Moonlit Hearts: The Love of Cecilion and Carmilla

PROLOGUE- THE WORLD OF BLOOD DEMONS

Long before humans built great kingdoms or wrote their history in books, there existed another world hidden in the shadows of the night. It was a land where the moon shone brighter than the sun, where ancient castles stood untouched by time, and where silence carried stories older than memory itself. This was the world of the Blood Demons—a mysterious race blessed with extraordinary strength, unmatched magic, and lives that stretched across centuries.Far beyond the reach of ordinary humans lay the

Crimson Kingdom, a realm surrounded by endless mountains, dark forests, and rivers that reflected the moon like silver mirrors. Enormous castles, built from black stone and decorated with crimson banners, rose above the clouds. Every tower held secrets, every hallway echoed with forgotten legends, and every full moon reminded its people of the power flowing through their blood. The Blood Demons were not mindless monsters, as many believed. They were intelligent, proud, and bound by ancient traditions passed down from generation to generation. They valued honor, loyalty, and strength above all else. Their elders ruled with strict laws, believing that emotions could cloud judgment and weaken even the strongest warrior.

Among them were powerful mages, fearless knights, skilled healers, and wise scholars. Every Blood Demon was expected to protect the kingdom and preserve its ancient legacy. Those who broke the laws faced severe punishment, no matter how noble their family was.

Yet beneath the kingdom's peaceful appearance, darkness quietly spread. Ambition grew within the hearts of those who desired absolute power. Noble families competed for influence, hidden enemies formed dangerous alliances, and whispers of betrayal traveled through the palace corridors like cold winds. The oldest elders often spoke of an ancient prophecy written long before anyone could remember. The prophecy had been locked away inside the Royal Library, hidden from all except the kingdom's guardians. Few believed it was real, while others feared even speaking its words. It was said that one day, under the light of a rare Crimson Moon, two hearts would meet. Their love would become stronger than hatred, stronger than fear, and stronger than death itself. But every blessing demanded a price. The same love that could save the Blood Demon Kingdom also possessed the power to destroy it forever.Because of this prophecy, many rulers forbade their people from speaking about destiny. They believed that fate should never control the future. The kingdom continued its daily life, pretending the ancient words no longer mattered. But destiny is patient.

No matter how deeply the truth is buried, it always finds a way back into the light. On a quiet night, the wind carried an unfamiliar melody across the mountains. It was soft, beautiful, and filled with a sadness that no one could explain. The music drifted through forests, over rivers, and into the silent halls of the ancient castles, as though searching for someone who had not yet heard its call.

Far away, crimson rose bloomed beneath the moonlight, even though it was not the season for flowers. The kingdom's oldest guardian looked upon the rose with fear, for he knew the legend attached to it. A rose blooming beneath the Crimson Moon had appeared only once before—on the night the prophecy was first written. That same evening, the pages of the ancient prophecy opened by themselves. No hand touched them. No wind entered the library. Yet the faded ink slowly began to glow as if awakened after centuries of silence. The old guardian stepped closer, his hands trembling.

One sentence, hidden for hundreds of years, had changed.

It no longer spoke of two lovers.

It spoke of only one survivor.

CECILLION 'S LONELY LIFE

The Crimson Kingdom had not celebrated a royal birth for generations. On the night Prince Cecilion was born, the entire kingdom was illuminated by the light of the Crimson Moon. The palace bells echoed through the mountains, and the people believed that the newborn prince would one day become the greatest ruler in the history of the Blood Demons.

But destiny had written a different beginning. Before the first sunrise of the prince's life, tragedy struck the royal palace.

(CECILLION MOTHER AND FATHER)

A mysterious figure, hidden beneath a cloak as dark as the night itself, entered the royal chambers. The king and queen fought with every ounce of their strength to protect their newborn son. The battle shook the palace, and powerful magic lit up the sky. Yet despite their courage, the royal couple fell.

The assassin disappeared before anyone could discover their true identity.

Only one thing was left behind...

A strange crimson mark burned into the palace floor—a symbol no one had ever seen before.

The infant prince survived.

From that day onward, the palace elders and the Royal Guardian swore an oath to protect the last heir of the Crimson Kingdom. They raised Cecilion with love, discipline, and wisdom, never allowing him to feel abandoned. Yet no amount of kindness could replace the warmth of a mother's embrace or the guidance of a father's hand.

As the years passed, Cecilion grew into a calm and intelligent child. He rarely laughed as other children did. Instead, he spent his days

wandering through the royal library, studying ancient magic, history, and forgotten legends. At night, he listened to the wind outside the castle windows, wondering why he always felt that something was missing.

The elders never answered his questions about his parents.

Whenever he asked, silence filled the room.Years went by.

On the morning of his tenth birthday, the Royal Guardian finally led him into a secret chamber hidden beneath the palace.

There, upon two marble monuments, rested the swords and crowns of the late king and queen.

With tears in his eyes, the guardian revealed the truth."Your parents did not die from illness," he said quietly. "They were murdered on the night you were born."Cecilion stood frozen. His entire world shattered in a single moment. The guardian continued.

"The killer sought a power that existed only within the royal bloodline—a power so great that, if it ever fell into the wrong hands, it could bring destruction not only to our kingdom, but to the entire world."For the first time in his life, Cecilion understood why he had been guarded so closely. The blood flowing through his veins was both a blessing... and a curse.

No one knew the murderer's identity.

No face had been seen.

No name had ever been spoken

Only one clue remained.

The elders believed the murderer had vanished into the distant

(THE LAND OF DAWN)

Human Valley, a mysterious land known as The Land of Dawn, where humans and countless other races lived together.

That night, Cecilion stood alone on the highest balcony of the palace.

He looked toward the distant horizon where the Human Valley lay hidden beyond endless mountains.

Tears filled his crimson eyes.

"I don't know who you are," he whispered into the night.

"But one day...

I will find you."

From that moment onward, his childhood came to an end.Every sunrise became a day of training.

Every night became another lesson in magic.Years passed.

The gentle prince slowly became one of the most gifted young mages the Crimson Kingdom had ever seen.Yet deep inside his heart, the loneliness never disappeared.

On the eve of his twentieth birthday, Cecilion bowed before the elders and the Royal Guardian.

Without a single servant or soldier to accompany him, he stepped beyond the gates of the Crimson Kingdom for the first time.

As the ancient gates slowly closed behind him, none of them noticed the shadow watching from the forest.

The mysterious figure smiled...

and whispered only three words—

"He's finally coming."

CARMILLA'S FIRST APPERANCE

Far from the magnificent Crimson Kingdom, beyond the Silver Mountains and the Moonlit Forest, stood the ancient Castle Aberleen , home of the noble House Ansaac. in the land of dwan For centuries, the Ansaac family had been admired for their wisdom, wealth, and loyalty Their castle overlooked crystal lakes and endless gardens where crimson roses bloomed throughout the year.

Within those castle walls lived Lady Carmilla.

(CARMILLA)

From the day she was born, everyone believed she had been blessed by the moon itself. Her golden hair shimmered like sunlight, her soft dark eyes reflected kindness, and her gentle smile warmed even the coldest hearts. Unlike many noble people who believed power was everything, Carmilla believed kindness was the greatest strength of all.

Servants loved her because she treated them with respect.

Children smiled whenever she visited the nearby villages, bringing them books, food, and beautiful flowers from the royal gardens. Even injured birds and lost animals often found shelter in her care.

People called her "The Golden Rose of House Ansaac."

But behind that beautiful smile was a wound that had never healed.

(CARMILLA'S MOTHER AND FATHER)

When Carmilla was only five years old, her beloved mother passed away after a long illness. She remembered very little of those days—only the warmth of her mother's embrace, the gentle lullabies she sang beneath the moonlight, and the promise she had whispered before closing her eyes forever.

"No matter how dark this world becomes... never let kindness disappear from your heart."

Those words stayed with Carmilla throughout her life.

Her father, Lord Ansaac, loved his daughter deeply, but after his wife's death, he became a different man. He buried himself in politics, noble meetings, and the responsibilities of protecting his family's reputation. As the years passed, his affection slowly turned into strict expectations.

To him, Carmilla was no longer only his daughter...

She was the future of House Ansaac.

People from nearby villages arrived to bless her. Old family friends, respected artists, merchants, and neighboring families gathered in the grand hall to celebrate the young woman who had brought happiness to so many lives.

The castle was decorated with beautiful flowers, music filled the halls, and the night was filled with laughter.

Carmilla smiled at everyone, grateful for the love surrounding her.

Yet somewhere deep inside her heart, she felt a strange emptiness.

She wondered why, despite having everything she could ask for, she still felt as if something was missing.

Later that evening, her father called her to his private chamber.

His expression was serious.

"The future of our family has already been decided," he said.

Carmilla looked at him silently.

On the table was an official marriage proposal from another noble family.

(LORD VICTOR)

"You will marry Lord Victor of House Varen."

Her smile disappeared.

"Father... I do not love him."

Love meant nothing to the nobles.

Power...

Status...

Political alliances...

Those were the only things that mattered.

Her father turned away without another word.

"The ceremony will take place before the next Crimson Moon."

That night, unable to bear the weight in her heart, Carmilla wandered alone through the moonlit rose garden her mother had once cared for.

She gently touched a blooming crimson rose and silently wished her mother were still beside her.

Suddenly...

A cold breeze swept across the garden.

The roses began to sway although there was almost no wind.

Then she heard it.

A distant melody.

Soft...

Gentle...

Filled with sorrow.

It sounded like someone playing a violin somewhere beyond the mountains.

She had never heard such beautiful music before.

Without realizing it, tears rolled down her cheeks.

She looked toward the distant horizon.

The melody lasted only a few moments before disappearing into the silence of the night.

Carmilla placed her hand over her heart.

For reasons she could not explain...

It felt as though someone, somewhere, was calling her.

And far beyond the mountains...

A lonely musician unknowingly played the very song that would one day change both of their destinies forever.
