chapter 1
The Lersinean Empire. Ruling over many star systems, it can even be considered a Galactic Empire in terms of power. It is ruled under a system of sami constitutional monarchy, but there was a constant tug of war between the Emporer and the Parliament.
emperor Nicolas Le Francir, head of the house of Francir, and will be later known as
"The Fallen King"
In a room filled to the brim with expensive items; paintings hanging on every available surface on the walls. Small piles of jewellery lying around. With a plain wooden desk in the middle of it all. Placed near a floor to ceiling window.
A man sat in a Throne like chair behind the desk. A tall and slender man. With hair as dark as the abyss. And irises that resemble the colour of blood, He suddenly became all the more intimidating.
He wore a royal uniform which was a nice black that contrasted well with the white Buttons made of soft pure gold that kept everything together. A white aiguillette hanging on his shoulder, A golden raven medal hanging on his neck.
A simple yet elegent crown rests on his head. Adorned with a red, white and emerald green diamond. The gems sit on the index, right and left of the crown respectively.
Each gem represents something.
The red for the Red King, the white for the White Country and the emerald green representing the Goddess of Darkness Nokias the patron God of lersinean and Allia illtus the Goddess of temptation
This was Nicolas Le Francir. The Emperor of the greater Lersinean Empire.
He leant back on his chair and sighed.
'I never thought that being emperor was so stressful.' He muttered to himself as he reached out to grab a jug of water. He poured it into his glass and was drinking when a knock sounded on the door.
'Who is it?' He called.
'its me sire. your Royal Guard' Came a reply.
'Come in then.'
The man walked into the room and bowed respectfully, before delivering his report.
'Duke Oleander Nerium requests an audience with you Your Majesty.'
'Oh. Very well, let him in then.'
The guard bowed again walk backward to his post in front of the King's Study and informed Duke Oleander that he may enter.
The Duke was a head shorter than Nicolas and skinny. bright green hair framed brilliantly with emerald green eyes. Which was currently scanning the absolute mess the room was in.
He wore the Imperial Royal Uniform which was a white tunic with a bach white vest inside. On top of his head were a bicorne that were worn side to side with cockade attached to the bicorne.
On the left side of the uniform. More medals than people would care to count was pinned to the uniform. Showing the amount of achievements and contributions he had made to the Empire.
One medal caught my eye. It was shaped in a cross made of gold with a red diamond sitting in the middle. It was quite glamorous.
I awarded him the medal because of his contribution to the nation, and to the redchest citizens. I've always wondered why he cared so much about them.
Little did I know that he brought grave news with him while I was lost in some of my thoughts.
I noticed the worried expression on his face as he walked closer, an expression that is rarely seen on the calm and composed Duke.
'Good evening Nicolas.' He greeted in an oddly calm and stiff manner, which contradicts the expression on his face.
Something was wrong.
'Well hello there Oleander, how are you?'
I asked, a worried smile on my face.
'I'm quite well thank you.'
'So what happened? Its not like you to be worried.'
'We lost one of our key planets, Rooma, to the rebels.' Came the anxious reply.
My face turned grave as I processed his words.
I leant back against my chair, hands shaking slightly in disbelief. Quickly getting a glass of water, I took a sip before asking.
'How many enemies were there?'
I asked in a soft but slightly sharp voice.
'Scouts estimated one thousand infantry Army divion. Six hundred amored calvary Army Division and one hundred destructor class fleets.'
'How many have we lost?'
'Estimated total of eight million ground lost.'
'Which officer led the defence?'
'Vice Lord Admiral Chessa and Lieutenant General Nira. we speculate that the both are dead.'
'Why did you only report now?' 'Such a grave defeat.'
'I do apologise.' said oleander
'Does the Parliament knows about this loss yet?' I ask
'No. Well not yet.'
'Good. Keep it that way and block all forms of communications from that planet.'
'As you wish sire.'
'We need to maintain political stability in the Empire. If the Parliment knows about this I'm afraid they will use this reason to provoke a scepticism and Incredulity on my authority. You know I can't trust those dogs'
'And what about the soldiers that we lost?'
ask oleander
'Who cares?'
'As long as I'm in power, everything is expandable, we can always recruit more troops and build more ships. Losing a few million soldiers is better then losing the whole Empire.'
Yelling out for my butler Mr Charl.
I waited for a minute before he come rushing in.
'Would you mind calling Grand Marshal Christof, Mr speaker shenovok and Minister of Foreign Affairs Lauran for me?'
'Tell them to meet me in the dining hall and it is an emergency matter.' I commanded.
'Yes Your Majesty as you wish.'
Charl retreated, bowing before runnning out to call for the three officials.
'I glanced at my watch, realizing how late it was.
'Look at the time! Oleander, lets discuss the full details in the dining hall shall we?
I for one am quite hungry.' Then I ask oleander
'Have you eaten?'
"Not yet, I have not'
'Well, lets have lunch together?'
'Sure.'
I gently clapped my hands to call a butler in.
'How may I assist you Your Majesty?'
'Get the dining hall ready. Oleander and I are going to have lunch.'
'Yes Your Majesty. It will be ready in a few minutes.'
The butler then walked out of the study to call servents to prepare the dining hall.
I chatted with Oleander in the study for about ten minutes while waiting for the dining hall to be set up. The head butler of the palace enter the study after knocking.
'The dining hall is ready Your Majesty.'
'How time flies. Lets head on to the dining hall shall we?'
Oleander noded.
Nicolas and Oleander stood up and start walking to the dining hall.
The hallway was decorated with dozens of paintings hanging on the walls and some other items on display. All of it worth billions of Lish.
The head butler who stood ready at the entrance then opened the very large door to the dining hall.
In the middle there sat a giant dining table that can sit over forty people.
Built from the thousand year old tarentara tree. The oldest and rarest type of tree.
Theres only about five hundred seeds in the universe. In fact, some people worship the tree. it has been a big controversial on Nicolas spending too much Money on buying these luxurious items but he ignores it.
They sat at the end of the table and two butler poured wine for the two of them.
Nicolas took a sip of wine before the butler presented lunch.
Lunch was roasted titan butterfly steaks and a side of baked cathar flower and salad. Nicolas was about to cut into the steak when a butler knocked and came in.
'Your imperial Supreme highness, his grace Arche Marshal Christof,
The Minister of Foreign affairs and
Mr speaker is here to see you your highness.'
'Let them in.'
Three men walked into the room. Mr speaker Shenovok wore a black robe with a red sash and a golden collar around his neck. On his head sat a dark black top hat. On the other hand, Minister Lauren wore a cream coloured vest with a blue coat. A top hat that is the same colour as his vest completed the look. The Arche Marshal wore the Lesinean Imperial Army uniform blue and sharp gold contrasting together. A red pelisse hung on his shoulders. And a scabbard hanging on his waist, sheathed in it a silver rapier with a gold handle. On his head, sat a red shako with the emblem of a golden crow.
The three Elites bowed their head in respect to the Emporer.
'Why have you summoned us sire?'
Arche Marshal Christof asked.
'Take a seat first before I tell you.' Nicolas replied.
When all three men were seated, the butler brought out three wine glasses and poured some wine in them, one for each of the newcomers.
'So what is it about sire?' Minister Lauren asked.
'We lost Rooma to the rebellion. According to some sources, they used the Blitzkrieg stretagy to attack Rooma. They then proceeded to advance into Rooma's capital (Rabin) and took control of the military bases. We were unable to send reinforcements in time as they had surrounded the planet with their fleets. So now they basically have full control of Rooma.' Oleander answered.
'Where did they get all those weapons and vessels from?' Asked Lauren yet again while the others stayed silent.
'LID (Lersinean Investigation Department) spy said that the Republic or (The United federation of Socialist Communist Republic) were behind this attack. In addition, the ships they used showed distinct similarities to the Republic's Destroyer and Fregate ships.' oleander answered, again.
'What is it that you want us to do sire?'
Lauren inquired, turning his attention to Nicolas.
'I want Minister Lauren to send an Ambassador to try and negotiate with the Rebellion. Arche Marshal Christof will get the army ready in the event that negotiations fail. Mr.Shenovok as your the speaker of the Parliment. I would like you to keep an eye on those Senates. If they show any doubts regarding my authority report to me at once. Minister Lauren I want you to contact the Prime Minister of the Pataivian Empire.
Say that the Emporer requests a reinforcement of fifteen infantry and amored calvary Army Division and twelve obliterator class fleets. Till then. We must be ready for any possibility. If there are no questions,
then go and start preperations immediatly.'
'Yes sire we will set off to prepare at once.'
'Good. Your dismissed.'
Nicolas turned his head towards oleander's direction and gave him a gentle smile.
'So what now?' Oleander asked.
Nicolas replied with a small smile before stabbing his fork into his steak.
Swallowing it with a sip of wine.
He glanced at Oleander's plate, realizing that the man had finished eating.
A butler stepped in and took the plate away.
'So what would you do if the Parliment finds out about this?' Oleander asked curiously.
'I'm afraid I can't give an answer yet.'
Nicolas replied.
Oleander looked a bit disappointed but tried to cover his emotions.
'Well, that was a good meal. I have to go back to my study now Oleander. See you soon.'
As Nicolas walked back to his study, he still felt uneasy. He thought to himself
'I must get Rooma back, no matter what it costs me.'

chapter 2:
Ganoon sector :Rooma
Rooma. One of the many key planets of the Lersinean Empire. Rich with important resources such as the Káfsima Crystal, which is most commonly mined and used as a type of fuel for ships and many other kinds of tehnology that was developed. Additionally, it can be converted to electricity through a type of technology developed by Cibus Technology, owned by one of the largest companies in the known galaxies, Cibus Enterprise. It is owned by two sisters merchants that have the most influence, power and money in the galaxy.
Rooma itself is covered by mountains, rocky terrains with rainforests scattered here and there. Most of its cities are built beside mountains, making it easier to transport crystals into the city. The city itself is sheltered by a gigantic dome, keeping it safe from acid rain which showers down from time to time.
However most native Roomeasians live inside the rainforests. Building their houses in trees. The sturdy leaves of the trees in the rainforests ensure protection from the acid rain or if it gets severe enough such as storm. A road was built to connect the city to other Roomeasian built cities creating a web of roads which link each and every city to each other.
Rooma was inhabited by the Roomeasians. They are sentiants that resemble amphibians with humanoid bodies. They typically comes in five different skin tones. Blue, green, orange and purple. Eyes that are either a pure black, blue or green. Their hair can vary in multiple colours and their ears are slightly pointed at the end.
They have an antenna hanging down from their forehead where a bulb like esca is attached. This esca is very important for it is used to communicate their emotions through the glowing of colours such as yellow for happy, red when in a threatening situation and blue when their sad.
Food was incredibly hard to come by, as most of the terrain are just plain rocky surfaces. If they do find a rainforest it is filled with a type of giant insect that is extremely hard to kill. Hence the tree houses. In the end they resulted in eating fungi based plants such as the Kushávroom. The Kushávroom is a type of mushroom like plant. However it is extremely poisonous to humans.
Another type of food in their diets is
the Canu Ants. These ants typically roam the rainforests and are hunted for food. The meat is typically roasted and it ended up being one of the most popular dish for the
Roomeasians.
Roomeasians are one of the most peaceful sentiants to be recorded in history. However after the Lersinean Empire invaded Rooma which is otherwise named The Roomeasien War. They became a second class citizens of the Lerseanien Empire with no right to voice their opinions in important decisions or speak freely. As their rights were stripped from them the moment the Lersinean Empire took over their planet.
Rabin, Capital of Rooma
In the centre of the Capital. A large building that served as the Imperial Lersinean Roomeasian Military Base sits. The building is shaped like a cigar, its roof reaching for the clouds. On the fortieth floor lies the office of Major Tina Achtar Roluchka. She is one of the few Roomeasian born officers that made it to the rank of Major in the army.
In the office. There was a wooden desk. There was nothing fancy about it but it served its purpose well. Behind the desk there was a bookshelf filled with books. The books mostly consisted of novels fairy tales and old stories about magic and magical beings.
The room is at a very cold temperature with a humidifier that sat on the arch of the desk. Making the atmosphere perfect for a typical Roomeasians.
Suddenly the office door was open fallow with a loud bang. At the doorway. A human like sentiant with large pure light blue greenish eyes which is a very rare eye colour for a Roomeasian.
Ears that are pointed slightly at the end.
On her forehead there was an antenna that is not long enough to cover her eye sight.
At the end of the antenna there was an esca which was used to express emotions by lighting up in different colours. She had light green skin and short light grey hair.
This person was wearing an Imperial Army uniform with a prussian blue service tunic which showed that she was from a roomeasian regiment. An army cap the same colour as her tunic. A Raven Medal made out of iron pinned onto the left side of her chest indicated that she was an honoured soldier. The Medal was awarded to her at the end of the Great Roomeasian War.
As she walked into the office she threw her bag onto her desk agressively before sitting down on her chair wearily. Based on her behaviour.
She was irritated about something.
'First thing in the morning and I have to put up with those bastards!' As she continue ranting to herself a knock sounded.
'Major Achtar, may I come in?'
A mysterious voice called through the door. Tina inhaled slowly calming herself down,
and yelled 'Come in!'
A human lady walks into the room.
A captain from the 057th battalion.
I've seen her quite a few times, and could say that she is not a bad person. She was quite young, probably a few years younger than me. with a skin white as snow.
Short maple coloured hair.
At the tail of her hair were braided into a long one strip of hair. Orange eyes and some freckles covering her nose area.
'Oh. Its you. Bhictoria was it?'
'Y-yas ma'am.' Bhictoria replied with a startled tone.
'Don't worry, I won't bite ya. Yer from Scuntenburge yeah?'
"'Y-yas ma'am, how did you know?'
'Accent maybe? Now, what are you here for?'
'Oh, I'm sorry ma'am, uhm- Lieutenant General Nira wants you to meet her at Her Excellency's office.'
'Huh? Very well. Tell her that I will be there in a moment.' I ordered her in a calm tone.
'Yes Mam.' She replied.
She then saluted by partially raising her left arm, palming down her hands and said
'God save the Emperor'
this style of saluting is called (Avenrus) it is also used in the church of Nokias as a form of respect to her. 'God save the Emporer.'
I replied with an Avenrus salute.
As she slowly walked out of the room.
I wondered what nira wants from me.
I then leant back onto my chair, closing my eyes before inhaling and then exhaling. Opening my eyes. I muttered.
'Well. Gotta go see the General now.'
I stood up and walk towards the door.
As I stepped out and into the corridor.
I saw a handful of officers walking past me.
I thought to myself
'its a damn busy day today.'
I start walking towards the elevator a few moments later i finally arrive infront of the elevator.
After waiting for a few seconds, the elevator arrived. I walked inside and pushed the button for the hundredth floor. I vacantly staring at the elevator door. Taking a few seconds before realizing that I have reached Lieutenant General Nira's floor.
As I walked out of the elevator, I saw four soldiers guarding the office, two in front of the elevator and two in front of the General's office door. One soldier stepped forward and asked for my I.D. pass, which made me annoyed. I ask myself
"what do they need my pass for?"
I reluctant hand her my ID
'Here. Are you happy now?'
She looks at my I.D. and then said
'I apologise for troubling you Major Achtar, please proceed.'
I turn my head and met eye contact with the receptionist.
'Are you Major Tina?:She asked swiftly.
'Yes Ma'am. I am here to see Lieutenant General Nira.' I replied.
'She is waiting for you inside her office ma'am, please do enter.'
'Thank you.' I nodded my head and walked up towards the office door.
Upon opening it, I saw Lieutenant General Nira sitting on a wooden chair behind a desk.
The Lieutenant General is a human lady that is around five years older than me, but she looks very young despite her age, with reddish hair, and irises a mixture of red and blue, which contrasted brilliantly with her hair.
She was wearing a feldgrau coloured General's tunic that contrasted with a silverish aiguillette. A silver raven medal hung around her neck and a coat draped over her shoulders.
The desk sat in the middle of the room, and is carved from a single tree, which is probably more expensive than the measly amount I get that they call my pay. On top of the table, there were two bottles, a glass and an ash tray. A bottle of rum and a bottle of whiskey. The glass beside the bottle of whiskey was half-filled with the contents of said bottle, and looked like she had already taken several sips from it.
The ash tray was in front of the chair, a cigar that had already been cut and lighted. It is the expensive kind. The handmade and brand named one. Only rich aristocrats can get their hands on those.
After standing at the doorway for several seconds assesing my surroundings, she noticed me.'Oh Tina dear, come in!'
I walked inside the room and closed the door. She invited me to sit down, so I went over and sat where she indicated.
Without asking, she grabbed a spare glass from God knows where and poured some whiskey into it and slid across the table towards me. Grabbing her cigar, she started smoking, while I look at the glass of whiskey in front of me.
and thinking to my self
"Well I just had a pint last night, but ay one glass won't hurt would it?"
I grabbed the glass in front of me and chugged it down. It was braw. I placed the now empty glass back onto the table and asked,
'So why have you called me ma'am?'
'Before that, how can you be so cold to your sister?'
'Mom is gonna be crossed when she finds out that your smoking and drinking again.'
'Well, if you tell her, I'm going to demote you.' She replied.
A threat. A sarcastic and terrifying one.
She took a puff from the cigar, and as she was blowing out the smoke, she said,
'I have a mission for you Tina.'
She leant back and grabbed a brown bag that sat beside her and threw it towards my direction.
'This mission came directly from Duke Oleander. He even passed me the files personally.'
I opened the bag. It contained some documents, so I pulled them out. I yelled in shock when I read them.
'What!? Why does he want me to assasinate MP Goodwood Has he gone mad?' I asked, still slightly shocked at the mission that I have been asked to complete.
Again, she blew out a puff of smoke before speaking,
'Goodwood is one of the most influential MPs in the Empire. Assasinating him will be quite a difficult task.'
'Besides that mission, may I trouble you with a favour?' I asked.
She nodded, telling me to go ahead and that she was listening.
'Can I have Captain Bhictoria transferred to my company?'
Nira suddenly smirked.
'Why? Do you fancy her?'
'N-No.' Tina replied. She felt like bulching, and started doing so.
'I feel like there is something special in her, and that she can be an asset for my company. Thats all'
'Okay, okay, anything for you" Nira replied, an affectionate smile on her face.
She then grabs her communicator and called her subordinates ' hello I got a request. I want you to transfer captain bhitoria, yes from 057th battalion I want her to transfer into major achtar company, no-no that's all thank you, there you go'
'Thanks Nira'
Moments after Tina uttered that sentence, a rocket can be seen approaching Nira's office through her window.
'Nira!'
