I was on my way to school while I could feel the wind brushing through my skin making me smile , the feeling of the sun landing on my skin making me warm , kids running with their friends as I was listening to my favourite song while heading to school.

My name is Lilly , Lilly Akamai i'm still a high school student a seventeen year old waiting to graduate from school. I was born in the world of music, my family brought me up in a world of music there was music always around me making me feel happy always. when I'm alone I used to write songs and dance. I'm a dancer as well I have gone to so many competitions and achieved alot of trophies. I always kept a low profile at school not wanting to show that I can sing and dance and brag about my self I always kept my studies ahead of me and guess what I'm the top student in my class. I have a really close friend her name is Katie shes been my best friend for over seventeen years we were childhood best friends because our mums were besties as well.

Anyways I got to school and all eyes were on me when I entered as always, boys with flowers and chocolates in there hands waiting to approach me but luckily Katie comes to the rescue. "Hey girl hows you been I missed you so much " she said while hugging me, well didnt I see you yesterday i said as she looked at me saying yah that was yesterday not today while pulling away from the hug while I just laughed at her while she was smiling back clinging to my arm. Well hows Aunty Katie asked me when we entered our class , well shes forgetting alot but the doctor said she would be fine I said as katie just nodded back.

On are way back home afterschool has just finished Katie and I were talking and laughing at each other. we thought of going to a cafe to get something sweet . when we came down town we saw alot of kids going back home it was a red light we were waiting to cross and cars were just going so fast passed us on the other side a kid ran across the road as he saw a cat his mum was to slow and she didnt see because she was on a call suddenly a lady pushed the child while a truck just slammed her making her fly while the kid started to cry because he got a scratch and it scared him, lucky nothing bad happened to him but on the other hand the lady was knocked out making a river of blood around her . Katie and I ran towards her to see not only Katie and I so well as the others when I saw the women I got a shock so did katie but I got in my knees and started to cry like crazy. "Mum mum wake up I said .. someone call an ambulance!!! cant you see theres someone who's dying I started to scream making everyone worried , Katie called an ambulance and my dad and her parents and told the. what happened in like five minutes the ambulance got here making us a little revealed but I was a crying mess because blood was coming out of my mum's body like crazy. my mum opened her eyes slightly looking at me and smiling saying you forgot to sing me a song before you left home for school she said I was crying harder when she said that. when we arrived the my dad and brother and Katie's parents were there my was quickly taken into the Emergency room... we were all a crying mess when Kayie was comforting me while crying aunty Linda was crying whime Katie's dad was comfo6her while crying as well so did my dad and brother. After an hour the doctor comes out of the room while we all stood up and went to him while he looked at us and said "sorry but it was to late " leaving us there and said you can go the body for now that's when my heart was broken into pieces unable to take whatever is happening making me feel dead inside .. I lost my mum I said while crying so hard when my dad came and hugged me while crying as well...

It's been a week since my mothers death. It was so sudden that I didnt know what was happening, I lost the person who I love the most and who was always there to support me in my singing and dancing but shes not there as I said looking outside through my window.* knock knock* come in I said as the door opens revealing my brother. Hey sis dads still not back so could you make me something to eat he said yah sure give me a few minutes I said back to him. weird I say it's almost nine and dads still not back.. these days I felt weird because my dad has been going out these few days and been coming back home late. I dont know what's happening but I'm sure his fine . right?. I was getting ready to prepare dinner for Lin and I it's funny how we are only two minutes apart from each other, I'm just older two him by two minutes but he looks older to me by two years. *Ding Dong * suddenly the door bells rings I asked Lin if he could open it as he nodded and went straight to open the door.

Hey Hey! hows you !! she said jumping up and down, come in Katie .. Oh come on Lin you dont have to be that cold to me remember that I'm a month older to you hm... Katie walks in while carrying a bag while Lin just closes the door and follows her behind her. Heyyyy Lilly she said as she hugged me Omg girl be careful I'm cooking I said as i looked ar her while she poured saying cant I even hug my best friend without her scolding me for once ! here she goes again acting like a baby I was thinking , I'm sorry I was just scared that you would have gotten burnt she looks at me with a happy face again it's fine I'm sorry too. hey what are you doing here ? Lin asked while staring at the bag katie brought. Oh right I was supposed to deliver this to you guys because mum was worried about you guys because you guys barely ate last week or these days Katie said while taking the food out of the bag. Oh is that so you can leave it and go back home Lin said yah! what's with that attitude!! here they go again Lin has a crush on Katie but she doesn't know it yet I caught Lin while he was stalking Katie on IG I knew he liked her but it was our twin secret that we wouldn't talk about it.

I finished cooking some rice and served the food Katie also brought, thank God I didnt have to cook that much Katie joined us for dinner while we were laughing and joking and enjoying our food . Hey arent you going home now? Lin said while putting his chopsticks down, Why are you always mean to me katie said while her face was stuffed with food I giggled at her cuteness. suddenly the door opened revealing my dad.. he looked as he went somewhere and came like not work or anything somewhere else like some one who would have skipped school and went to the park it was like that feeling towards me. Hi dad! Hi uncle ! Dad Your back as I said. Did you eat? we have some food want to join us? I asked him No dear it's fine I ate you guys eat and Katie just stay the night here it's pretty late l'll tell your parents as my dad said while going upstairs.

weird Katie said as we just nodded.. Dad would never come home this late even if he has so much work and he never eats out after six. Lin , Kayie and I were just staring at each other at this point. We just shook it off and we cleaned up and went to bed as it was nearly eleven. Hey Lilly doesnt it feel weird I mean uncle is acting so different now like he forgot that your mum passed away and forgot that he has children? I couldn't lie Katie was right it's been strange after my mums death after few days dad has been different but I just shook it off. I dont think so Katie your just over thinking Dad would never forget about mum and he would never forget about us I said. Anyways let's go to sleep tomorrow we have school right? I said as Katie and I fell asleep. Mum do you think dad is cheating no right he would never forget about you right and he will never leave us right mum?
