I was in first grade when I felt alone for the first time!(tho I wasn't able to understand those things but still felt sad about the situation)...growing up I was a pretty common child ! Laughing, crying and doing all the stuff a kid would do !! Still when I was a child I remember feeling like I don't have many friends...

I was close with all my classmates in school, but it was just me thinking like that because like everyone I didn't have any close friends or any desk mates at that time..... Our class seating arrangement was like a roll number base, so we all had to sit in a pair of 2 in each bench… And to no surprise my desk mate didn't show up for like a straight 2 months… And I was an introvert and not a type who can approach other freely 🥲 [like before talking to anyone I had to think of a good excuse (⁠｡⁠ﾉ⁠ω⁠＼⁠｡⁠)] so yeah I was feeling alone for the whole 2 months.

But that changed when one day I was heading to my desk as usual with a gloomy face... I saw a girl sitting in my seat....

POV Luna

*who is that sitting on my seat ! Did she sit there by mistake?! Or is this a new student!*

Hundreds of questions were going on in my mind when I heard a voice

Teacher : students sit down on your seat and take out your books !

*I hurriedly sat on my desk and whispered in her ears !*

Luna : hey are you a new student?? My name is Luna ! What is yours?did you sit in the wrong seat?or are you my desk mate?

*I nervously asked so many questions at once and there goes my first impressions*

After a small pause she answered my questions one by one !

Tuna : I am tuna, and I am in the right seat if you want to change the side we can do that later in break?okay? And yeah I am your desk mate....nice to meet you !

*oh heavens she is so smooth when it comes to talking unlike me and here I used my all strength just to ask one question*

Luna : no I have no problem

Teacher : shhh...! Who is talking??

After hearing the teacher we both started pretending like we didn't do anything ! And started paying attention to the class...

And this is how I met my first bestie [when I didn't even know the meaning of this word haha(⁠・⁠–⁠・⁠;⁠)⁠ゞ]

After the break we started talking, and it turns out we were also in the same neighborhood!! And also in the same home Tuition [I was happy beyond the word that can define the word happy]

I and tuna became close friends because of all the things like the same school, class, tuition and even the neighborhood! We had a friend group of our own and were always having fun doing stuff.... Slowly i started to open up to her and to everyone who i thought of my own people, and it was all because of the gang *I am saying gang because that is what our teacher called us* the gang was formed in 2nd grade our school was a coed school till 4th so my desk mate in 2nd grade changed… It was a boy named William he was nice and was like a brother to me, he used to tease me, help me with my study and even teach me anything new he would learn from anywhere (he was an extreme extrovert 💯 good in studies socializing and all. I wanted to learn those skills from him ! But I couldn't lol he was too good, and we had too little time (⁠^⁠～⁠^⁠;⁠)⁠ゞ) so he took me and tuna in his group which was full of boys, and we were the only two girls ! [So yeah I lived like a boy for like 3 years ha ha (⁠•⁠ ⁠▽⁠ ⁠•⁠;⁠)]

We were a group of 8 to 9 kids and everyone was nice to both of us as we were the only girls and yeah we didn't get along well with other girls IDK why I mean we never say you are now welcomed or anything, but it was that time when girls and boys being friends can be seen as something else ! Lol I never believed in that or ig I was too naive haha (⁠^⁠～⁠^⁠;⁠)⁠ゞ] even I used to like one boy from our group I mean not like how you like like but a kind of like I mean all boys used to tease us and all, but he was so calm and cool 🥲(yeah you can say I had a Lil crush on him, but he was the cutest and coolest) tho I was forced to link up with some dumb buddy of mine 😃

I swear if he wasn't dumb and cute I would have never tolerated the things I had to hear all the time even now !! Well he and I were from the same caste, so our family was close, and we were like besties in today's terms ! (still I always wanted a girlfriend so don't judge me for being harsh on him in the future CHP) in tuition he was always the dumbest kid as he was slow when it comes to studies, and I was the smartest (Not bragging just in tuition not in school) and we were close so Miss used to scold him and I felt bad but that boy never listened to me...

I used to go to his house as his mom requested i teach him a Little basics, but he would tempt me with snacks [and I would be tempted every time (⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠)] and then one day when I was at his home I saw his brother.... I mean ik he had a brother but damn he was so good-looking and cool.

He was nice and good-looking,and He would help with our homework and cook something delicious for us !! He was the best...I even wished I had a big brother like him ! I spent most of my time with Kevin(my buddy) just like this and because of always being together people and especially neighborhood aunties and random people would link up us and marriage together saying we are a good match...we will get married in the future for sure... and i hated hearing this...I liked him as a friend, but hated the idea of marriage you see... I had a preference 🥲 (I liked studies type who are kind and gentle and he was the exact opposite) he would tease the second he gets a chance....

So marriage was out of the question...he knew i hated hearing this but he would always give me those small flowers while teasing future wife or else baby in a weird tone...!ಠ⁠益⁠ಠ...i wish if I was stronger I would have tossed him out of the window and one day I have had enough...one day when it was our lunch we were eating together at my bench and I was done with my lunch so I started doing my homework and accidentally while opening my geometry box all the things fell on ground and I sat down to pick them all and he helped me but then he suddenly grabbed my face and gave me a peck on lips!!^⁠_⁠^

I ended his life on that day !! ( Jk tho I wanted to...😃 but I just slap him because even if as a joke that was seriously irritating :⁠-⁠|) I was mad at him like why would he do that ik we were just 7 to 8 yrs kids still i hated physical touch from a young age idk trauma or what my mind was not even fully developed but other than my family i didn't liked anyone touching me that much.... Later on when I grew up started understanding things I got to know that it was indeed a trauma...there was an uncle I was close with idk from which moment but he used to show me affection by giving pecks on cheeks and forehead at first i didn't mind at all as my mother and father both used to do this...but idk at which point I started feeling uncomfortable and just like that i hated being touchy with anyone....( I am good rn but that period was the worst one...(⁠─⁠.⁠─⁠|⁠|⁠）) and yeah I stopped talking with him on that day onwards...

He did say sorry the moment he felt I was actually mad for real...but still I was mad for a long time that even our friends noticed and tried to make peace between us...and I gave in I mean he doesn't know why I was so mad as i rarely get mad...but still that was wrong and so I forgive him but made him promise he would never do anything like that again....!
