Chapter 1 — The First Encounter
A beautiful young girl, around eighteen years old, was running as fast as she could down the road.
Her breathing was uneven, and fear was clearly visible in her eyes.
She kept running without looking back.
She crashed straight into someone standing beside a car.
She stumbled backward, but quickly regained her balance.
The young man frowned at the sudden collision.
But the moment his eyes fell on her face, he froze.
For a few seconds, he simply stared at her.
She was breathtakingly beautiful.
Long golden-brown hair fell around her face, her large eyes were filled with fear, and innocence was written all over her delicate features. She was about 5'3" tall.
But she didn't care about the way he was staring at her.
She desperately folded her hands in front of him.

She tried to explain through her trembling hands and frightened expressions before quickly moving behind him, as though using him as a shield.
The man watched her gestures carefully.

Four or five men appeared at the end of the road.
Her eyes widened in terror.
She instinctively grabbed the sleeve of men's jacket and moved closer behind him.
Her fingers were trembling.
The men lowered his gaze to her hand gripping his sleeve.
Then he slowly looked toward the approaching men.
The softness that had briefly appeared in his eyes vanished.
His expression turned cold.
She didn't know who this stranger was.
She didn't know whether she could trust him.

Chapter 2 – The Stranger Who Protected Her
One of the men stepped forward with a smirk.

He took one step forward.

The men burst into laughter.
One of them walked toward girl and reached out to grab her.
Before his hand could even touch her—
Boy fist landed squarely on the man's face.
The thug was thrown to the ground instantly.
The others stared in shock.
What happened next lasted only a few moments.
One after another, the men were knocked to the ground.
Within minutes, every one of them was groaning in pain.
Boy dusted off his sleeves as if nothing had happened.

A luxury black car came to a sudden stop beside them.
Both boy and that girl turned toward the car.

An elderly woman, around seventy years old, stepped out in a hurry.
The moment she saw girl, relief washed over her face.
