Losing Memory (Taekook)
Episode 1 – The Rainy Night
The grand ballroom echoed with laughter as friends and family celebrated Areum's first birthday. Blue and white balloons filled the hall, and a large cake stood in the center.
Taehyung held Areum in his arms while Jungkook smiled warmly beside them.
Everyone: "Happy Birthday, Areum!"
Areum clapped his tiny hands, making everyone laugh.

Jungkook wrapped an arm around Taehyung's waist.

The celebration ended, and the three of them drove home.
Outside, a cold winter rain poured heavily. Thunder echoed across the dark sky.

The truck slammed into their car.
The vehicle spun across the wet road before flipping over.
Glass shattered everywhere.

Areum was admitted to the pediatric ward with minor injuries.

Rain continued falling outside the hospital windows as the long night had only just begun.

Episode 2 – One Good News... One Bad News
Taehyung sat outside the operating room, his forehead wrapped in a bandage. His clothes were soaked from the rain, and his hands trembled as he stared at the closed doors.
The red "SURGERY IN PROGRESS" light remained on for hours.
Nearby, little Areum slept peacefully in the pediatric ward after receiving treatment for his minor injuries.
Jungkook's parents arrived at the hospital in tears after receiving the call.

Taehyung slowly sank into the chair, unable to speak.
Jungkook was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit.
Machines beeped steadily around him.
Taehyung quietly entered the room and gently held Jungkook's hand.

A tear rolled down his cheek.
Outside the room, Areum had woken up.
He looked around with frightened eyes.
He searched for Jungkook but couldn't find him.
Taehyung picked him up and hugged him tightly.

Taehyung: "Daddy will come back to us... I promise."

Areum: "Appa...?"
But even as he said those words, fear filled his heart.
Would Jungkook wake up as the same person?

Episode 3 – Mr... Who Are You?
The morning sun shone through the hospital window.
Inside the ICU, the heart monitor beeped steadily.
Jungkook's fingers twitched

"Doctor! The patient is waking up!"
Doctors and nurses quickly gathered around his bed.
Jungkook slowly opened his eyes.
Everything looked blurry.

The doctor smiled slightly.
Taehyung, Areum, and Jungkook's parents stood up immediately.

Relief filled everyone's faces.

"Can I see him?"

"Yes. But don't overwhelm him."
Taehyung entered the room first, carrying Areum in his arms.
His eyes were filled with tears.
Jungkook looked at the man standing beside his bed.
He frowned slightly.

"Jungkook... you're finally awake."
Jungkook tilted his head.

The room became silent.
Taehyung's smile slowly disappeared.
His heart stopped for a moment.

"I'm sorry... have we met before?"
Taehyung's eyes filled with tears.
He pointed to Areum.

"This is our son..."
Areum reached out with his tiny hands.

*Crying* "Appa..."
Jungkook stared at the child in complete confusion.

"...My son?"
The words pierced Taehyung's heart.

But Jungkook only looked at him like a stranger.
The doctor entered the room

"Mr. Kim... I'm afraid the brain injury caused selective memory loss."

"Selective...?"

"He remembers everything before a certain point in his life. But all the memories after that... including your marriage and your child... are gone."
Tears streamed down Taehyung's face.
He couldn't say a single word.
Jungkook watched silently, not understanding why this stranger was crying for him.

He gently picked up the crying Areum.
Outside the hospital window, the rain began to fall once again.
