Mr.Jeon's Ice Prince (Jikook)

The Night Before Everything Changed

The soft glow of the moon spilled through the floor-to-ceiling window, bathing the spacious bedroom in silvery light. A gentle night breeze slipped through the slightly open curtains, carrying the faint scent of the night. It danced through the room, playfully brushing against the platinum-blond strands of the young man's hair.
Park jimin sat quietly on the wide window seat, his knees drawn close to his chest. His eyes remained closed as he listened to the whispers of the wind, hoping the peaceful night would calm the storm raging inside him.
Tomorrow...
Tomorrow was supposed to be the happiest day of his life.
Yet all he could feel was an unfamiliar heaviness settling deep within his heart.
A soft knock interrupted the silence before the bedroom door slowly creaked open.
Park Soojin
Park Soojin
"Jimin"
A warm, gentle voice called, almost like a comforting lullaby.
Park Soojin
Park Soojin
"When are you going to sleep, sweetheart? Tomorrow is your wedding. You need to get some rest."
Jimin slowly opened his eyes but kept his gaze fixed on the moon outside.
Jimin
Jimin
"I'm not sleepy, Mom"
He replied quietly.
Park Soojin smiled faintly before walking towards him. Her footsteps were slow and graceful, careful not to disturb the peaceful silence surrounding her son.
She stopped beside him and lovingly brushed a few strands of hair away from his face.
Park Soojin
Park Soojin
"But you need to sleep, my love"
She said softly.
Park Soojin
Park Soojin
"Tomorrow is a very important day—not only for you, but for all of us."
Jimin lowered his head.
Silence settled between them.
Soojin gently stroked his hair, noticing the sadness hidden beneath his calm expression.
Park Soojin
Park Soojin
"Are you alright?"
She asked softly, her voice filled with concern.
Park Soojin
Park Soojin
"Don't think too much, sweetheart."
She offered him a reassuring smile.
Park Soojin
Park Soojin
"Everything will be okay."
For a long moment, Jimin remained silent.
Finally, he let out a quiet sigh.
Jimin
Jimin
"I'm okay, Mom..." he murmured. "Just... tired."
His words trailed off as he hesitated.
After gathering the courage, he looked at her with uncertain eyes.
Jimin
Jimin
"...Will I be okay?"
The question caught Soojin off guard.
For the briefest moment, pain flashed across her face before she gently hid it behind another warm smile.
She cupped his cheek lovingly.
Park Soojin
Park Soojin
Of course, you will.
Her voice remained calm and reassuring.
Park Soojin
Park Soojin
He's a good man, Jimin. He'll take good care of you.
Jimin simply nodded. Neither of them spoke after that.
The room fell silent once again, filled only with the gentle rustling of the curtains and the distant chirping of crickets outside.
After a few quiet moments, Jimin took a slow breath before pushing himself up from the window seat.
Jimin
Jimin
"Okay Mom" he said forcing a small smile."I'm going to sleep now."
He looked at her, trying his best to sound convincing.
Jimin
Jimin
You should get some rest too. I'll be fine.
Although the smile on his lips looked genuine, a mother could always tell when her child was pretending.
Still, soojin chose not to expose his lie.
Instead, she smiled back and followed him to the bed.
Jimin lay down beneath the soft white sheets.
His mother carefully tucked the blanket around him, just like she had done ever since he was a little boy.
She gently brushed his forehead before leaning down to place a tender kiss there.
Park Soojin
Park Soojin
Sleep well, sweetheart. I love you.
A faint smile finally reached Jimin's lips.
Jimin
Jimin
I love you too, Mom.
soojin smiled one last time before quietly walking towards the bedroom door.
With a soft click, she switched off the lights and stepped outside, gently closing the door behind her.
.
.
.
.
.
She paused for a moment in the hallway, letting out a slow breath.
The reassuring smile she had worn in front of Jimin slowly disappeared, replaced by the worry she had been hiding all evening.
As she turned towards their bedroom, she found her husband standing there, waiting for her. His eyes immediately searched hers.
Park Hyun–woo
Park Hyun–woo
...Did he fall asleep?
Park hyun–woo asked softly.
soojin slowly shook her head.
Park Soojin
Park Soojin
"No" A faint sigh escaped her lips. "He couldn't sleep."
Her voice was calm, yet the sadness hidden within it was impossible to miss.
hyun–woo didn't reply.
Instead, he stepped forward and gently wrapped his arms around his wife.
One hand rested comfortingly on her back while the other softly stroked her hair.
"It's okay," he whispered."He'll be okay."
His words sounded calm.Steady,Certain.
But inside...
His thoughts were anything but peaceful.
Will he really be okay? Did I make the right decision?
As his father... have I truly protected him... or have I unknowingly pushed him into another unknown?
He wanted to believe this marriage would finally bring happiness into Jimin's life.
He wanted to believe Jeon Jungkook would become the man who cherished and protected his son.
But hope...
...was never the same as certainty.
.
.
.
.
.
Back inside the bedroom...
Moonlight continued to stream through the large window, painting silver patterns across the wooden floor.
Jimin lay motionless beneath the blankets, his eyes fixed on the ceiling.
Sleep refused to come. His mind was far too restless.
Tomorrow...
He would become Jeon Jungkook's husband.
A man he had never loved.A man he barely knew.
Jimin slowly closed his eyes.
Will this marriage become my safe place...
...or another cage?
Outside, the moon remained high above the silent city, quietly watching over two families whose destinies were about to become one.
Neither of them knew...
That with the coming sunrise, two completely different worlds were destined to collide.

Before the Vows

The Jeon residence had been awake since early morning.
The spacious mansion, usually calm and peaceful, was now filled with the sound of hurried footsteps, cheerful voices, and the soft rustling of flower petals.
White and lavender flowers decorated every corner of the grand hall. Elegant arrangements covered the walls, while delicate lights were carefully placed around the wedding stage.
Outside, a long pathway had been prepared for the guests, surrounded by fresh flowers and glowing decorations.
It was Jungkook’s wedding day.
And everyone in the Jeon family seemed excited about it.
Jeon Yerin
Jeon Yerin
“Mom, why are these flowers still lying here like this?”
Jeon Yerin carefully stepped over a bunch of flower petals scattered across the floor. Her brows pulled together as she looked around the busy hall.
Jeon Seoyeon
Jeon Seoyeon
“I don’t know,” she replied, watching several workers arrange flowers around the stage. “These people are working so slowly.”
She raised her hand and pointed toward one of the unfinished decorations.
Jeon Seoyeon
Jeon Seoyeon
“Please move those flowers a little to the left,” she instructed. “And make sure the arrangement is even.”
The workers quickly nodded and continued fixing the decorations.
Yerin let out a dramatic gasp before rolling her eyes.
Jeon Yerin
Jeon Yerin
“So, will this wedding actually happen today or not?”
Seoyeon turned toward her daughter and laughed.
Jeon Seoyeon
Jeon Seoyeon
“If the wedding doesn’t happen today, your brother might have a heart attack.”
Jeon Yerin
Jeon Yerin
“Yeah, yeah,” she said, waving her hand dismissively. “That man is way too excited.”
Jeon Seoyeon
Jeon Seoyeon
“Of course, he is,” she replied warmly.
A soft smile appeared on her face as she looked around the beautifully decorated hall.
Jeon Seoyeon
Jeon Seoyeon
“He has been crazy about that figure skater for two years.”
There was no annoyance in her voice.
Only happiness.
As a mother, seeing her son this excited made her heart feel warm. Jungkook had always been serious and hardworking, often hiding his emotions behind a calm expression. But ever since Jimin had entered his life, something about him had changed.
And Seoyeon was happy to see that change.
Jeon Yerin
Jeon Yerin
“Anyway, where is he?” she asked, looking around the hall. “I haven’t seen that idiot since this morning.”
Jeon Seoyeon
Jeon Seoyeon
“He started working early,” she answered. “I don’t think he even slept last night. He was probably too excited.”
Yerin stared at her mother in disbelief.
Jeon Yerin
Jeon Yerin
“He still has this much energy?”
Seoyeon laughed softly.
Jeon Seoyeon
Jeon Seoyeon
“He’s outside checking the arrangements near the entrance.”
“I thought so,” Yerin murmured.
Then a mischievous smile appeared on her face.
Jeon Yerin
Jeon Yerin
“Anyway, I’m going to get ready now. I want to look my best at my brother’s wedding.”
She dramatically flipped her hair over her shoulder.
Jeon Yerin
Jeon Yerin
“After all, I have to look beautiful in the wedding photos.”
Jeon Seoyeon
Jeon Seoyeon
“Yerin,” she called with a helpless laugh.
But her daughter was already walking toward the stairs.
Jeon Seoyeon
Jeon Seoyeon
“Yah! Don’t take too long!” She added.
Jeon Yerin
Jeon Yerin
“I won’t!” she called back cheerfully before disappearing upstairs.
Jeon Seoyeon
Jeon Seoyeon
“That girl…”
Seoyeon gently shook her head.
She watched her daughter walk away with a smile still resting on her lips.
The entire house felt warm and alive.
Laughter echoed through the halls. The staff moved quickly as they prepared for the ceremony, and every corner seemed to shine with excitement.
Unlike the quiet, heavy atmosphere inside the Park residence, the Jeon home was filled with brightness.
Today wasn’t only a wedding day.
To the Jeon family, it felt like a celebration.
.
.
.
.
.
Outside, near the grand entrance...
A young man stood beneath the bright morning sky, carefully examining every detail.
The pathway was lined with elegant white flowers. Soft lights surrounded the walkway, and delicate decorations shimmered beneath the warm sunlight.
Jeon Jungkook looked over everything with a satisfied expression.
A wide smile remained on his face as he imagined the ceremony.
For once, the serious CEO didn’t care about business meetings, company reports, or work.
Today, there was only one thing on his mind.
Jimin.
Jungkook’s smile grew even wider.
He was so lost in his thoughts that he didn’t notice someone approaching him.
Jeon Minseok
Jeon Minseok
“Hey.”
A familiar voice suddenly interrupted his daydream.
Jeon Minseok
Jeon Minseok
“Don’t daydream too much.”
Jungkook quickly turned around.
His father, Jeon Minseok, stood beside him with an amused smile.
Minseok casually placed an arm around his son’s shoulder.
Jungkook immediately cleared his throat and tried to control the smile on his face.
Jungkook
Jungkook
“It’s not what you think, Dad,” he said quickly. “I was just checking the decorations.”
Minseok looked around the entrance before raising an eyebrow.
Jeon Minseok
Jeon Minseok
“Ah, is that so?”
Jungkook
Jungkook
“Yes,” Jungkook replied, trying to sound serious. “I was making sure everything looked perfect.”
His father studied him for a moment.
Then he laughed.
Jeon Minseok
Jeon Minseok
“It’s okay. I understand, young man.”
Jungkook
Jungkook
“Dad,” Jungkook complained.
Jungkook
Jungkook
“I’m not lying. I was only checking the entrance.”
Jeon Minseok
Jeon Minseok
“Of course,” he said, nodding as though he completely believed him.
Then he leaned closer to Jungkook.
Jeon Minseok
Jeon Minseok
“And imagining how Jimin will look while walking through this entrance…”
Jungkook’s eyes widened.
Jungkook
Jungkook
“Dad!”
Minseok lifted one eyebrow and smiled mischievously.
Jeon Minseok
Jeon Minseok
“Hmm?”
Jungkook
Jungkook
“Aish… You guys are just so…”
Jungkook stopped mid-sentence.
He knew there was no point arguing.
Jungkook
Jungkook
“Forget it. I’m leaving.”
Before his father could tease him again, Jungkook quickly turned around and walked back toward the mansion.
Minseok watched his son leave.
Then he burst into laughter.
His shoulders shook as he wiped the small tears that had formed at the corners of his eyes.
Jeon Minseok
Jeon Minseok
“This boy…”
He gently shook his head, still smiling.
Jungkook had always been calm, confident, and difficult to embarrass.
But today...
He looked like a young man hopelessly in love.
And as Minseok watched his son disappear into the mansion, his smile softened.
For the first time in a long while...
Jungkook looked completely happy.
.
.
.
.
.
When Jungkook walked through the grand foyer and into the spacious hall, his eyes instinctively swept across the final wedding preparations. The elegant decorations, fresh flowers, and sparkling chandeliers made the mansion feel more alive than ever.
Jeon Seoyeon
Jeon Seoyeon
“Jungkook...”
His mother's voice stopped him.
He turned to find his mother standing in the grand hall, still overseeing the last-minute decorations. A teasing smile played on her lips as she raised an eyebrow.
Jeon Seoyeon
Jeon Seoyeon
“Do you actually want to get married today or not?”
Jungkook blinked in confusion.
Jungkook
Jungkook
“Hm? Why?” he asked before quickly clearing his throat. “I mean... yes, of course I do.”
He tried to keep his expression calm, though the slight awkwardness in his voice betrayed him.
Seoyeon chuckled.
Jeon Seoyeon
Jeon Seoyeon
“Then when are you planning to get ready?”
Jungkook
Jungkook
“Yes, I was just going, Mom,” Jungkook replied, trying his hardest not to grin like an idiot.
Before Seoyeon could say another word, footsteps echoed from the entrance.
Jeon Minseok
Jeon Minseok
“Honey, let him be.”
Minseok walked through the grand foyer and into the hall, a playful smile spreading across his face.
Jeon Minseok
Jeon Minseok
“Don't rush him,” he said as he wrapped an arm around his wife shoulder. “I'm sure he wants to take his time. After all, he probably wants to look extra handsome today... isn't that right, Jungkook-ah?”
Jungkook stared at his father in disbelief.
Clearly, the teasing wasn't over.
Jungkook
Jungkook
“You're one to talk,” Jungkook shot back without missing a beat. “As if you didn't dye your hair last night.”
Seoyeon immediately burst into laughter.
Jungkook folded his arms, a smug grin appearing on his face.
Jungkook
Jungkook
“So why shouldn't I? I'm the groom. Of course I want to look a little more charming on my wedding day.”
Minseok placed a dramatic hand over his chest.
Jeon Minseok
Jeon Minseok
“Why not? I want to look good in the wedding photos too.”
Jungkook
Jungkook
“Yeah, yeah,” Jungkook replied with a small laugh.
Minseok wasn't finished.
Jeon Minseok
Jeon Minseok
“And don't laugh too much,” he said, pointing at his wife. “You're acting like you didn't spend half of yesterday getting facial and spa treatments.”
Seoyeon's laughter stopped instantly.
Her eyes widened.
Jeon Seoyeon
Jeon Seoyeon
“Yah! Why would you tell him that?” she whined, lightly hitting his arm. “You old man!”
Jeon Minseok
Jeon Minseok
“Oh? Now I'm an old man?” he asked dramatically.
Jeon Seoyeon
Jeon Seoyeon
“You are!”
Jeon Minseok
Jeon Minseok
I'm still handsome.”
Jeon Seoyeon
Jeon Seoyeon
“In your dreams.”
Jeon Minseok
Jeon Minseok
“And yet you still married me.”
Jeon Seoyeon
Jeon Seoyeon
“That was years ago!”
The two of them continued bickering like children.
Watching them, Jungkook let out a helpless sigh and shook his head.
He began walking upstairs before glancing back over his shoulder.
Jungkook
Jungkook
“When you two are done arguing, please go get ready on time,” he said with an amused smile. “It's your one and only son's wedding.”
Without waiting for a reply, he continued upstairs.
Behind him, Seoyeon and Minseok stopped bickering.
The couple stared at their son's retreating figure with slightly parted lips.
Then they looked at each other...
And burst into laughter once again.

The Arrival

.
.
.
The day had finally come.
The day the entire Jeon family had been waiting for.
The Jeon ancestral mansion stood in all its glory, adorned with elegant white and lavender flowers, shimmering crystal chandeliers, and golden decorations that reflected the family's long-standing legacy.
The grand entrance alone was enough to leave every guest speechless.
Inside the mansion, the atmosphere was lively.
Jeon Seoyeon welcomed each guest with her usual warm smile, while her daughter, Yerin, cheerfully guided friends and relatives through the grand halls.
Meanwhile, Jeon Minseok was occupied greeting longtime business partners and close family friends.
The magnificent chandelier hanging from the ceiling bathed the hall in a warm golden glow, making the ancient architecture appear even more breathtaking.
Although the Jeons could have invited thousands, they had chosen to keep the ceremony intimate.
Only close relatives...
Trusted friends...
Business associates. A handful of media representatives, and photographs.....
And, of course, the Park family.
After all, this wasn't just any wedding.
It was the wedding of Jeon Jungkook...
And the nation's beloved figure skater, Park Jimin.
The media had long given him countless nicknames.
The Ice Prince.
The Prince of the Rink.
The Winter Fairy.
Guests whispered among themselves, unable to hide their excitement.

Just then, Minseok's phone vibrated.
Excusing himself from the guests, he answered with a smile.
Jeon Minseok

"Hello?"
On the other end came Park Hyun-woo's calm voice.
Park Hyun–woo

"We're on our way. I just wanted to let you know we'll arrive in a few minutes."
Minseok smiled warmly.

The call ended.
Minseok slipped his phone back into his pocket before walking toward his wife.
Leaning closer, he whispered,

Seoyeon smiled.
Jeon Seoyeon
Jeon Seoyeon
"Go."
Without another word, Minseok headed upstairs.
.
.
.
.
.
He stopped outside a bedroom door and knocked gently.
Jungkook
Jungkook
"Come in."
Opening the door, Minseok stepped inside.
For a brief moment...
He simply stared.
His son stood before the mirror looking every bit the perfect groom.
His black hair had been neatly styled.
His tailored black ceremonial suit fit him flawlessly, the short coat ending around his thighs with subtle gold embroidery adding a regal touch. As he adjusted the elegant black gloves his designer had chosen for the ensemble, he looked every bit the confident CEO everyone admired.
Minseok couldn't help but feel proud off his son and grin.
Jeon Minseok
Jeon Minseok
"Well..."

"Look at you."
Jeon Minseok

Jungkook sighed, his ears turning slightly pink.

"Not again."
Minseok laughed softly.
Jeon Minseok
Jeon Minseok
"Alright, alright. I won't tease you."
Silence settled between them.
After a few seconds, Jungkook finally spoke.
Trying to sound casual...
Though his nervousness betrayed him.
Jungkook
Jungkook
"...Have they arrived?"
Minseok noticed the hesitation immediately.
He smiled to himself but, for once, decided not to tease his son.
Jeon Minseok
Jeon Minseok
"They're on their way."
Jeon Minseok
Jeon Minseok
"They'll be here in just a few minutes."
Jungkook gave a small nod.
Jungkook
Jungkook
"Okay."
He turned back toward the mirror one last time, straightening his jacket before taking a quiet breath.
Minseok walked toward the door and smiled proudly.

"Come on. "It's time."
Jeon Minseok

"Let's go to your wedding, son."
Jungkook smiled.

"I'm ready."
Together...
Father and son left the room.
.
.
.
.
.
The moment Jungkook stepped onto the grand staircase...
The conversations throughout the hall slowly faded.
Every pair of eyes turned toward him.
He descended each step with quiet confidence, the golden lights reflecting against the black fabric of his suit.
A few guests couldn't help but whisper.
random guest
random guest
"He looks incredible."
random guest 2
random guest 2
"He truly suits the Jeon name."
random guest

"He looks like a prince himself. and kind hot"
Jungkook simply smiled politely before taking his place at the altar.
Every now and then...
His gaze drifted toward the mansion's entrance.
Waiting.
.
.
.
.
.
A few minutes later...
A car horn echoed outside.
The entire hall fell silent.Every head turned toward the entrance.
The luxury car came to a gentle stop.
The side door opened first.
Park Hyun-woo stepped out.
Then Park Soojin.
Together...
They opened the rear door.
A polished white boot touched the stone pathway.
Then another.
Time seemed to slow.
Jimin stepped out of the car.
His father offered his left arm.
His mother walked gracefully beside him.
Together...They made their way through the flower-lined entrance.
And Jungkook...... his heartbeat quickens. he forgot to blink.
The world around him disappeared.
The conversations...
The guests...
The music...
Everything faded into silence.
All he could see...
Was Jimin.
Though a sheer embroidered veil concealed most of his face, the delicate fabric revealed just enough for Jungkook to catch a glimpse of the man beneath it.
The ivory ceremonial attire seemed almost unreal beneath the sunlight.
Elegant. Regal. Untouchable.
Like a prince who had stepped straight out of a winter fairytale.
Jungkook had imagined this moment countless times while choosing Jimin's wedding attire.
But...
Reality was far more breathtaking than anything his imagination had ever created.
For the first time in his life...
Jeon Jungkook was completely.
Speechless.....
