Adam is in a shed with sealed glass containers. Inside them is some powder. He has dipped a large piece of stone which is faintly glowing into a liquid. "This should be enough for it to be broken without exploding."the man reconsiders "It was too expensive". The man then inhales He pours the liquid into a larger container made out of wood, using resin to make it waterproof.
The boy takes out a chisel and hits it with a hammer carefully. "From the advertisement, this thing should remain in the liquid, and if it does it will not harm you if handled properly".
The first strike on the approximately 500 mm by 50 mm by 9mm if the protruding parts are ignored. On the next strike, a piece from the main stone comes free. It was small, but enough for the experiment he needed to carry out.
He went to a small corner where he had arranged everything correctly. He sat behind a wooden shield with an opening where his hands could fit and another opening at eye level to see the results. He also made sure he was cutting perfectly.
He put his hands in the holes and placed the small stone, now still wet with the translucent liquid. It seemed to glow even red. The first hit broke it, but there was no explosion.
"This is great," he thought, before he had almost lost his hand.
He screamed with joy. Two roommates who were in the main house heard him. A roommate wanted to go see what had happened, but she was stopped by the other.
The man back in the shed took the pieces and, using a mortar and pestle, ground the rock into a powder. He put the powder into another glass container. It is now a little compared to the others.
"I should let this dry up, and then it should return to their explosive state and some rest is well deserved."
The man closes everything and goes back to the main house.

A man stands up after finishing his work. Looking at the detailed drawing of a projectile explosive, glancing at the time, it is past midnight.
"I should really fix my sleep schedule, but this is urgently needed for the next war."
The man goes to the window, looking down from the 16th floor.
"I should sleep. I still need to go to the weapons lab to test some stuff. I've been staying so late..."
The man sees a reflection of a dark figure behind him before he can react. A wire is wrapped around his neck. The man uses his elbow, which lands a couple of blows, but the masked killer does not stop. The man puts his leg on the glass, pushing off it. The killer is pushed back together with the man, but the killer is much stronger. He throws the man onto the wall opposite the window.
The man, now desperate, pushes on the wall, which surprises the killer. Seeing the blood from the man's head, the two go back together, hitting the glass, which breaks...
"Today in the morning
A weapon scientist and another person were found dead.
Can the man on the scene tell us more?"
"So let's talk to the witnesses and neighbours". The camera is pointed at a guard.
"So what happened is, I was doing my rounds around the compound, then out of nowhere something fell. Looking at it, it was the two people."
The camera shifts to the next-door neighbour.
"Well, I don't really know what to say. Apart from the weird sound I heard, I wasn't even thinking this was happening." The man is clearly on some drugs his eyes red.
It changes to the head reporter.
"So we don't know what happened, but what we can see, it seems to be murder. Is it an early announcement of war, or is it an internal thing? We don't know. Stay tuned as we wait for the police to identify the killer because of the smashed face. It might give some clue."
The man who was drawing the weapon wakes up while suspended in a liquid inside a fully tiled room. The liquid is completely clear, almost like air. As he slowly opens his eyes, the walls begin to crack. Suddenly, he starts getting pulled down by the current.
******************************
The sun's rays hit his face, and he feels the coldness on his body. Looking around, he realizes he is in an unfamiliar room with rough brick walls. A girl wearing what looks like some kind of animal costume wipes his body with a piece of white cloth.
"This whole setup feels a bit sketchy."
The man stands up and, seeing that he is naked, quickly grabs the bed cover to hide himself.
"Before you cut me open, I have to tell you that my lungs are bad. I smoked all my life, my liver is a mess because I got drunk almost every day, and I used to be overweight. I also have heart problems, so I'm not worth cutting open."
The man pleads with the girl.
"Human, you are fine. The kingdoms' greatest healers have already examined your body. You were summoned by the God of Reincarnation to help us discover and put an end to the being causing misfortune to our kingdom. The neighboring kingdoms have also summoned people, so you no longer have those problems with your body."
The girl answers calmly, almost emotionlessly.
I was sure that would get her, not me. Did they do a check on me? Wait... she said something about kingdoms. What a weird thing to say.i should get another lie before I am killed.
"Human, stay here. I will inform the king of your awakening. From one week of sleep, be sure to rest."
The girl leaves, leaving the confused man alone in the room. He sighs a sigh of relief. The girl come back scaring the man.
"Oh, I almost forgot. Human, your clothes are on that chair."
The girl leaves once again, closing the door behind her.
********************************************
The man puts on the clothes. Then he walks to the only window in the small room. Looking down, he sees that he is on top of a very tall building. He sees small houses, unlike the ones he saw every time he woke up and went to sleep.
As the girl silently moves through the castle corridors, she sees most of the other people. Upon seeing her, they quickly move out of her way.
"Has he at least... you've been hearing about how she has attacked the king and other stuff. Stay away from her," one person tells a newcomer to the castle.
Even after hearing all of this, the girl doesn't react.
Reaching the throne room door, she stops, hearing the king talking to someone.
"Here. Tell the king the human is awake. That man has no blessing from any divine being in the Upper Circle because of the evils he did to millions of people. They have decided that you are needed to take that man to a radius of 63.781 km from this castle. If not, your kingdom will face great destruction and divine retribution."
"Oh, and that beast girl—she is outside the door. Yes, you also need to get her out of here. Next time she sees you, you might not survive. But this time it is safe."
"They don't care what you do. Kill him, send him to the Abyss, or even give him citizenship—they don't care. But if it is citizenship, they must be exactly in a radius of 63.71 km away from this place for at least a few months. Like six months."
"Fine. Do it now, girl. You can enter."
The mysterious man says this while the king remains completely silent. This is not the first time the girl has heard his voice.
The girl opens the door but doesn't see anyone except the king.
"You may speak, servant. What brought you here?" the king asks. The girl looks up at the king on his throne.
"The human has woken up," the girl answers, then gets ready to leave.
But as she reaches the door, something changes in her eyes. The eyes that were once dark and lifeless suddenly become angry and fiery.
Looking back at the king, the king sees the girl's once black eyes turn blue and immediately becomes frightened.
"Guards! Guards! Get this girl away from me!"
When the guards rush into the throne room, they see the girl's claws wrapped around the king's neck. Then she suddenly stops, looking around at the guards. Her eyes turn black once again, and she quietly leaves.
The king holds his neck, then looks at his hand, which has begun to turn red.
"I need to get rid of those two... But I can't kill them. They're still living beings."
The king leans back on his throne.
"That girl's contract is no longer able to hold back her anger against humans. So if she sees a human next time, it will be instant death."
He sighs.
"Tomorrow... I still need to plan where they will go."
The king orders for a map.
The map shows several kingdoms with their borders clearly marked, but parts of it have been covered by a strange black substance.
The king unfolds the map to show only his kingdom, parts of the neighboring kingdoms, and several lakes that do not belong to any kingdom.
In the morning, the man is woken up by the girl, who seems tired. She is fully prepared, as if she is about to leave. Her eyes are still lifeless.
"Wake up. The king wants to see us. Your clothes are at the base of the bed."
The man looks at the girl, noticing something new. A few strands of her hair are now silver, and her eyes have a faint shade of blue.
The man stands up.
"Okay, I'll be out in a few minutes. You can go outside the room now."
The girl continues looking at him.
"Sorry, I can't. The king said I should not leave your side."
Now I'm not scared of being cut open. I'm scared I'm going to get used, or even sold. And what's with this king's stuff? Wait... what if I don't do what they want? Will they kill me?
"I'll do what you want."
The man starts removing his clothes one by one while glancing at the girl. Her eyes remain fixed on him the entire time, making him feel embarrassed.
He continues changing, and just before removing the last of his clothes, the girl quietly leaves. This causes the man to hurry and put on his trousers.
Halfway through, the girl returns carrying a large mirror. She places it in front of him so he can look at himself, then stands with her back against the door, watching him.
For the first time, he truly sees himself.
He looks much younger. The burn that had covered half of his face is gone, and there is no scar on his body.
This greatly surprises him. The surprise quickly overcomes his embarrassment.
"So that's why my vision is so good... I look younger by, what, fifty years? Even though I know I didn't look that old. At seventy I only had white hair. This is quite interesting."
"What medicine did you use on me?" the man asks, his eyes sparkling with curiosity.
"You died in your original world, so the God of Reincarnation reconstructed a body for you. But because two souls were brought at once, he had to check another one. Stop acting as if it is a lie. You will understand soon."The man finishes putting on his clothes which, from the texture, are woolen and have a minimal and ancient design, if he was to guess.
The girl escorts the man to the dining room, where they find the place full of people wearing fine clothes with purple lines, which are fully different than the common ones worn by the man.
The people are sitting around a very long and impractical table. There is no room for another person.
The king notices the two, but he ignores the man looking at the girl, seeing the white strands. He becomes uneasy.
"Sorry, you two. I got a bit carried away inviting the other kings and some nobles. But you can eat with those," he says while pointing to a much smaller table at the corner where there are servants sitting.
The table seems foreign in the room. It is worn down, made out of wood unlike the stone and slab tables, with a white cloth over it.
"Mister, we should go to the table. It is an order from—"
Before the girl can finish, the door opens.
A man with bright green eyes, flowing silver hair, he is wearing a white shirt and black trousers and a bright smile walks confidently into the room. As he is walking, seeing the common man in front of him, he intentionally bumps into the man.
"You should apologize, or just say for someone to make way for you, didn't you—"
Before the man can finish, the silver-haired man pins him face-first onto the ground.
"Who are you to tell me what to do, you common folk? You weak peasant. You shouldn't even be in this place."
"Should—"
The man who was twisting the arm is stopped when the girl puts her hand on his shoulder.
"He did not mean anything. He was just learning to sit. Plus, he is as important as you. It's just that he was inexperienced, so stop."
The silver-haired man stops, saying something about it being a waste of energy to deal with the man.
The girl extends her hand to the man, who, looking at it causes him to remember something.
********************************************
A boy is running away. He had something as if it is important. He enters into an alleyway where he finds an injured dog lying among the trash.
The boy pets the dog. Sitting down, he takes out the wrapped object. It is a half loaf of bread. He starts sharing some of the bread with the dog.
That is when a group of seven teenage boys, all around the same age as the boy, arrive. They all are the same as the boy from the streets.
The teenagers, seeing the boy wasting food on a dog, throw the boy and the dog away, which causes the bread to fall into the dirt.
Feeling angry, they start beating the dog. The boy, seeing this, jumps to the dog's protection with his body.
After the teenagers have finished getting out their anger, they take the soggy bread.
The boy stands up, tearing up. He sees that the dog had died.
Feeling weak, the boy just lies back down in the alley, where he stays the whole day and night.
The teenagers, moving again, see the boy lying there, having been beaten by another group. Seeing the boy, they try to get back their sense of power, they start beating up the boy.
That is when a hand is extended to the boy.
The face of the person is shining with a holy light. No one could say if it is even a face. It is why his brain had come to cover the faces of the teenagers, who had run away after seeing the woman with a shadow and the woman with a blinding light.
He there it was a girl helping him up.
The man accepts the hand, and the two walk.
The silver-haired man had already walked up to the king, who ordered one of the people to vacate their seat and the rest to move to fill in the space so that the man could sit next to him.
"So, everyone, this is the man blessed by all the gods. Even calling him a man is disrespectful, and he is called Mike. And for that other man, I don't know, but he's not important."
