Aurora stumbles forward into a disturbing, heavy silence. Suddenly, a pair of large hands clamp tightly over her mouth. Her eyes widen as she struggles against the grip to break free.

Laura scolds Christian for failing his duty as a bodyguard. Christian doesn't fight back, taking every word in silence while keeping his eyes fixed on Aurora. They return home after promising not to inform Laura's father.
The doctor finishes dressing her wounds, advising her not to get the bandages wet . Christian stands in the doorway with his arms crossed, watching her intensely. Even after the doctor leaves with the painkiller prescription, Christian remains rooted to the spot.
