J-Hope smiled slightly and walked towards the door

Jungkook stood there, staring at the closed door.
He let out a long sigh and rubbed his forehead in frustration

(muttering to himself)"Why does no one ever listen to me?"
Feeling disappointed,he slowly walked back to his room and quietly closed the door behind him
A call to my safe place
Jungkook's phone suddenly rang.
He picked up his phone and smiled when he saw the caller ID.

(smiling) "Hello?"

(teasing) "Good morning, bunny."
Jungkook glanced at the clock and shook his head.

(laughing softly) "Jimin... it's almost afternoon."
Park jimin
"Morning, afternoon... same thing. The important question is, are you alive?"

(raising an eyebrow) "Barely."
Jimin immediately noticed something was wrong.
Park jimin
(concerned) "Okay... that's not your usual answer. What happened?"

(let out a small sigh.)" Dad wants me to get married."
There was complete silence.
Not a single word.
Jeon Jungkook
(Frowned)"Jimin...?"
A loud crash came from the other end of the call.

(confused) "What was that?"
Park jimin
(groaning) "I... I dropped my phone."
Jeon Jungkook
"Seriously?"
Park jimin
"No! I dropped myself trying to catch the phone!"

(still in disbelief) "Did... did you just say marriage?"
Jeon Jungkook
(sighing) "Yes, Jimin. That marriage."
Jimin let out a dramatic gasp.

"No! My bunny can't get married before me!"
Jungkook couldn't help laughing.
Jeon Jungkook
"That's your concern?"
Park jimin
"Of course! We had a plan! We were supposed to stay single together and judge couples from a distance."
Jungkook shook his head with a small smile.
Park jimin
(more softly) "Wait... are you okay?"
Jimin's voice became gentle.

"Come to our café."
Park jimin
"And don't worry... whatever it is, we'll figure it out together."
Coffee before strom
Jungkook stared at his phone for a few seconds before letting out a dramatic sigh.
He flopped backward onto his bed.

"Great... my life is officially over."
After lying there for another minute, he groaned and sat up.
Jeon Jungkook
"If I stay here any longer, Jimin will actually come and drag me out."
He grabbed his car keys and headed downstairs.
Just as he reached the front door...
Jungkook stopped and turned around.
Jeon Jungkook
(forcing a smile) "Yes, Dad?"
J-Hope looked up from the newspaper he was reading.

"Where are you going?"
Jeon Jungkook
"To meet Jimin."
Jeon Hoseok
(nodded casually.)" Tell him I said hello."
Jeon Jungkook
(blinked.)" That's it?"
Jeon Hoseok
(raising an eyebrow) "Were you expecting an interrogation?"
Jungkook shrugged dramatically.
Jeon Jungkook
"Considering you just arranged my marriage... maybe."
J-Hope sighed, trying not to smile.

"Don't be dramatic."
Jeon Jungkook
(pointed at himself.)"Me? Dramatic? Never."😌
Jeon Hoseok
(chuckled.)"Just be home before dinner."
He slipped on his shoes and opened the door.

"Drive safely."
Without turning around, Jungkook lifted a hand and waved.
Jeon Jungkook
"I always do."
The front door closed behind him.
As he walked toward his car, he looked up at the sky.
Jeon Jungkook
"Please let Jimin have a miracle plan..."
"...or at least good banana milkshake."
A small smile finally appeared on his face.
He got into his car and drove toward their favorite café.
The bell above the café door chimed.
Jungkook stepped inside, scanning the room.

(muttering) "Where's the walking loudspeaker?"
Park jimin
(standing on a chair) "JEON JUNGKOOK! MY POOR, UNMARRIED... WAIT, ALMOST MARRIED BUNNY!"
Every head in the café turned.
Jungkook slowly closed his eyes.

"I should've turned the car around."
Jimin waved both arms dramatically.
Park jimin
"DON'T PRETEND YOU DON'T KNOW ME!"

(sighed and walked over.)
As he sat down, he looked at the table.
Three empty cheesecake plates.
One empty pasta bowl.
A half-finished iced latte.

A menu already open.

A little kid at the next table burst into laughter.

(pinched the bridge of his nose.)"Please sit down before they charge us for entertainment."
Jimin sat down with an exaggerated huff.
The waiter walked over, smiling.

"One banana milkshake, please."
Waiter: "Coming right up."
The waiter turned to Jimin.
Waiter: "And another cheesecake?"
Park jimin
"What kind of question is that?"
"...Obviously.😌"
The waiter laughed and walked away.
Jeon Jungkook
"One day you're going to own this café."
He pointed proudly at the cheesecake display.
Park jimin
"I'm going to own the bakery."
Jungkook finally laughed.
Jimin smiled.

"There you are."

(looked confused.)"What?"
Park jimin
(leaned forward.)"That laugh."
"I've been trying to get it back since you walked in."
Jungkook's smile slowly faded.
He looked down at the table.
Jimin noticed immediately.
This time, he didn't make another joke.
He quietly rested his elbows on the table.
Park jimin
(softly) "Bunny..."
"Tell me everything."
Jungkook let out a long breath.
Jeon Jungkook
"Dad wants me to meet the Kim family tonight."
Jeon Jungkook
(clenched his jaw.)"They've already decided my future..."
"...without asking me what I want."
Jimin's expression changed from playful to protective.
He reached across the table and gently nudged Jungkook's arm.
Park jimin
"Then we'll think of something."
Jeon Jungkook
(looked up)"You already have a plan, don't you?"
A slow, mischievous grin spread across Jimin's face.

"Oh..."
"I have at least twelve."
Jeon Jungkook
(Sighed.)
"...Why do I suddenly feel scared?"

(Winked.)
"Because Plan Number One involves fake food poisoning."
