In the heart of Seoul stood one of the most expensive and heavily guarded properties in the country.
It wasn't really a mansion.
The enormous modern glass-and-stone building stood behind tall security gates, surrounded by perfectly maintained gardens, fountains, and hundreds of cameras. A private road led from the main entrance to the mansion, while a separate underground garage housed dozens of luxury cars
Everyone knew the name Kim.
The Kim family owned one of the biggest business empires in South Korea and 2/3 of the economy of Korea
Their companies were everywhere—technology, hotels, fashion, finance, and entertainment.
But despite all their wealth and power, there was one person who mattered more to them than everything else.
Their youngest family member.
And the first omega born into the Kim family in five hundred years.
His birth had been considered nothing short of a miracle.
The entire family had celebrated.
The hospital had been placed under extraordinary security, and the best doctors in the country had been brought in.
But happiness soon turned into worry.
Because Tae never opened his eyes.
He didn't move his little hands.
He didn't look at anyone.
He had never spoken a single word.
He simply breathed peacefully in his sleep.
But it was as if he wasn't truly living in the world around him.
For twelve months, the Kim family waited.
Every day, one of them would sit beside his bed.
Every day, they hoped for the smallest movement.
A flutter of his eyelashes.
His bedroom was the most protected room in the entire mansion.
Soft cream curtains covered the windows, and a large crib stood in the center of the room. Cameras monitored the doorway, while a private nurse remained nearby twenty-four hours a day.
On the wall hung a single photograph.
Tae's picture from the day he was born.

No one in the family knew why Tae was like this.
The doctors had run every test imaginable.
The results were always the same.
That evening, the mansion was unusually quiet.
Rain tapped gently against the enormous windows.
The second son of the Kim family stood outside Tae's bedroom.
He looked through the slightly open door.
There Tae lay peacefully in his crib, wrapped in a soft blanket.

Namjoon immediately turned toward the crib.
Tae's tiny fingers had moved

“Are you sure?”

“I saw it.”

Seokjin gently touched Tae's tiny hand.

For a few seconds, there was silence.
Then Tae's fingers curled around Seokjin's finger.

“He held my finger.”

Seokjin's eyes filled with tears.

“Call the doctor.”

The nurse checked Tae carefully.

“His heartbeat is normal.”

“Is something wrong?”

“Then why is he moving now?”
Seokjin looked down at his son.

“Maybe he's waking up.”

“Maybe.”
Suddenly, Tae's eyelashes trembled.
Seokjin stopped breathing.

“I saw it.”

“Tae?”
His eyelashes moved again.

“Baby, open your eyes.”

“It's Mama.”
Namjoon gently placed his hand beside Tae's.

“And Dad is here too.”
Tae's little face moved slightly.
Then his eyelids slowly opened.
Seokjin covered his mouth.

“Namjoon…”
His beautiful eyes blinked slowly, adjusting to the light.

“He can see us.”

“He can see us?” Seokjin asked, his voice trembling.
Doctor
“Yes,” the doctor replied with a smile. “His eyes are responding normally.”
Namjoon looked at Tae, still holding his tiny hand.

“He moved, he opened his eyes… and he even said his first word.”
Seokjin smiled through his tears.

“Our little miracle finally woke up.”
Tae blinked sleepily and curled his fingers around Namjoon's.

Namjoon whispered, “Welcome to the world, little one.”
Doctor
“After one year, your little omega has finally decided it is time to meet his family.”
Outside the room, the news quickly spread throughout the mansion.
The Kim family's precious omega had awakened.

For one whole year, everyone in the Kim family had waited for this moment.
The hallway outside Tae's room was now crowded.
Namjoon opened the door slightly.

Grandmother wiped her tears.

The room became completely silent.
Tae was lying peacefully in his crib, his beautiful eyes open as he looked around.

Tae stared at her curiously.

jennie gently pulled him back.

“Don't get too close. You'll scare him.”

Hoseok whispered, “I'm just introducing myself.”

Felix smiled.

then his gaze stoped on his grandparents
Grandmother immediately smiled.

She carefully touched his cheek.
Grandfather smiled proudly.

Namjoon watched everyone with a smile.

Seokjin immediately smiled.

Namjoon picked him up carefully.

“Dad's here.”
Tae rested his tiny head against Namjoon's chest.
Everyone became emotional.

“He finally has his family around him.”

“And from today onward, he won't have to spend another day alone.”
Namjoon looked around at his family.

“That's a promise.”
Seokjin gently touched Tae's little hand.

Tae slowly closed his eyes, resting peacefully in his father's arms.
For the first time in a year, the Kim family wasn't waiting for their little omega to wake up.
They were finally getting to know him.
