The hospital room was quiet and warm. Outside the large window, a gentle rain tapped softly against the glass, washing away the summer heat of the city. Inside, the soft light of the lamps created a cozy glow.

Kim Seokjin lay back against the white pillows of the hospital bed, exhausted but smiling. Drops of sweat still clung to his forehead, and his breathing was slow and deep. Beside him sat Kim Namjoon, his husband. Namjoon's face was pale from hours of worry, but the moment he looked down at his arms, his eyes filled with bright, happy tears.

Seokjin looked down, and his heart melted completely. Two tiny faces blinked up at the bright lights. They were so small, yet they already looked so peaceful. They had tiny fingers, soft tufts of dark hair, and the exact same button noses. They were identical twin brothers.
For a few quiet moments, the parents just stared in wonder at the tiny miracles they had created together.

Namjoon smiled warmly, testing the name on his tongue. "Taehyung. It sounds strong and kind. I love it."

"And his little brother," Seokjin continued, looking at the baby snuggled tightly against Taehyung. "The one who arrived right after, holding onto his twin like he never wanted to let go."

V," Namjoon said softly, a bright smile spreading across his face. "Just V. Short, sharp, and full of spirit."

"Taehyung and V," Seokjin whispered happily, pulling the two tiny blankets closer. He pressed a gentle kiss to each of their foreheads. "Welcome to the world, my sweet boys."
Outside, the rain slowly stopped, and a bright ray of sunlight broke through the clouds, shining straight into the room to bless the new family.

Three days after the birth, the Kim family home was finally ready to welcome the new arrivals. The large mansion, usually so quiet and grand, was filled with the soft sounds of excitement. Fresh flowers sat on every table, and warm golden lights glowed in the hallways.
Kim Namjoon had planned a special gathering to celebrate the arrival of his sons. Close friends and family members began to arrive by evening, bringing gifts, warm smiles, and joyful laughter into the house.
Upstairs in the master bedroom, the atmosphere was peaceful. Kim Seokjin sat in a comfortable rocking chair near the window, wearing a soft cream-colored sweater. Cradled safely in his arms were the two tiny bundles of life.
Taehyung was sleeping soundly against Seokjin's left side, his small fists curled tightly near his chin. Right beside him, V was wide awake, his dark, bright eyes blinking slowly as he looked around the warm room.
The bedroom door opened gently, and Namjoon walked in, carrying a tray of warm tea for Seokjin. He stopped for a moment just to look at them, his heart swelling with a deep sense of pride and love. He walked over, setting the tray on a nearby table, and knelt beside the rocking chair.

Namjoon reached out, his large finger gently brushing V's tiny cheek. V blinked at the touch and let out a soft, tiny yawn that made both fathers chuckle quietly.

"Strong and full of spirit, just like I said," Namjoon murmured, smiling down at V. Then he shifted his gaze to Taehyung, his expression softening even more. "And Taehyung has your calm, gentle soul, Jinnie. They balance each other out already."

"They really do," Seokjin agreed softly. "Hold V for a moment while I stand up and change my shirt before the guests come up."
Namjoon carefully took V into his arms. V whimpered softly for a second at the movement, but when Namjoon rested the baby against his chest and began to hum a low, comforting tune, V instantly quieted down, listening to the deep rumble of his father's voice.
Just then, a knock sounded at the bedroom door, and it slowly pushed open.

"Can we come in?" a cheerful voice called out.
It was Seokjin's sister, Jisoo accompanied by a few close family friends. They walked in quietly, their faces lighting up with pure joy the moment they saw the twins in their parents' arms.

Oh, look at them!" Seokjin's sister whispered, covering her mouth in delight as she hurried over to the rocking chair. "Jin, Namjoon, they are absolute angels. Which one is which?"

"This one sleeping here is Taehyung," Seokjin said proudly, pointing gently to the baby in his lap. "And the little adventurer in Namjoon's arms is V."

"V," the aunt repeated with a bright smile, leaning in closer. "Such a unique, handsome name for a special boy. And Taehyung sounds so classic and warm. Oh, they are going to grow up to be heartbreakers, I can already tell!"
The room filled with soft, happy laughter. For the next hour, family members took turns looking at the twins, whispering sweet blessings over them, and wishing Namjoon and Seokjin a lifetime of happiness.
As the evening turned into night, the guests slowly began to leave, carrying full hearts and warm memories of the new babies.
Back in the bedroom, the house finally grew quiet again. The lights were dimmed, leaving only a soft orange glow from the bedside lamp.
Namjoon and Seokjin sat side by side on the large bed. Taehyung and V were placed safely in their shared wooden crib right beside the bed, sleeping peacefully side by side, their tiny hands almost touching.
Namjoon wrapped his arm around Seokjin's shoulders, pulling his husband close. Seokjin rested his head against Namjoon's chest, watching their sons breathe in unison.

Inside the crib, V stirred slightly in his sleep and shifted closer to Taehyung, resting his head right against his twin's shoulder. Taehyung didn't wake up; instead, he instinctively turned toward his brother, wrapping his tiny fingers gently around the edge of V's blanket.
Even on their very first days in the world, the two brothers were already inseparable, bound together by a thread that not even time could break.
