He stood up and began walking around the living room.

The hospital room was quiet except for the soft beeping of the monitor beside the bed.
Rowan sat beside Michael, holding his hand tightly between both of his. Michael was still unconscious, an IV attached to his arm, his face looking much paler than usual.
Rowan kept staring at him without saying a word.

(Why did this happen...?)
His thumb slowly moved across Michael's hand, almost as if touching him could somehow make sure he was still there.

"You scared me..."
He lowered his head, trying to control his emotions.
Outside the room, Ethan stood with the doctor. His face was filled with worry as he kept glancing toward the closed door.

"Doctor... what happened to my dad?"
The doctor looked at the report in his hands before answering.

"Don't worry. There's nothing seriously wrong with him."
Ethan released a breath he hadn't realized he was holding.

"Then why did he faint?"

Rowan quickly placed an arm behind his back and helped him sit comfortably against the pillows.
Michael looked at him for a moment.
The first thing he noticed was Rowan's worried expression.

Rowan's fingers tightened around his hand.

"You were unconscious."

"I Thought something happened to you..."
Michael's expression softened.
He slowly released his own pheromones, letting his familiar scent surround Rowan.
Rowan's body slowly relaxed against him.
Michael gently rubbed his back.

Ethan stood beside the bed, watching his parents quietly.
He had never seen Rowan this frightened before.
Michael eventually looked toward his son.

But his small smile couldn't hide how worried he was.
After a few more hours of observation, the doctor finally allowed Michael to discharge from hospital.
When they reached home, Rowan stayed close to him the entire time. He watched every step Michael took until they reached the living room.
Michael slowly sat down on the sofa and leaned back, finally letting his tired body relax

"You stay here, okay? I'll go make something for you to eat."
Rowan gently touched his shoulder before walking toward the kitchen.
Ethan remained standing near the sofa, watching his father quietly.
After a few seconds, he slowly sat beside him.

"I know I'm not interested in the company."
Michael looked at him with slight surprise.

He paused, his fingers tightening together.

"I'm scared of losing you."
Michael's expression softened.
His voice became quieter.
He looked directly at his father.

"So... let me into the company."

"Teach me. I don't have to take over everything. I just want to learn enough to stand beside you."
Michael stared at his son for a moment before a small, emotional smile appeared on his face.
Michael reached over and gently patted his head.

"But remember, learning the business doesn't mean you have to become someone you're not."

Michael sat on the edge of the bed, looking through a few documents on his laptop. After a moment, he picked up his phone and called Adrian.

The call ended.
Meanwhile, downstairs, Rowan was preparing dinner while Ethan sat quietly in the living room.
A few minutes later, the sound of the doorbell echoed through the house.
Ethan looked toward the door.

"I'll get it."
He stood up and walked toward the entrance. As soon as he opened the door, he froze.
For a moment, Ethan simply stared at him.
His heart suddenly began beating faster.
Ethan's face slowly became warm.

Adrian remained completely calm, holding a few files in one hand.

"Hello."
Ethan blinked and quickly looked away.
Adrian vale (ML) 1
"Mr. Miller asked me to bring some files to him."
Ethan stepped aside to let him in.
Ethan miller (MC)
"Come in."
Before Adrian could say anything else, Rowan appeared from the dining area.

"Adrian?"

"Good evening, Mr. Rowan."
Rowan Miller ( mc mother)
"Come inside. Michael is upstairs."
Rowan smiled warmly and pointed toward the staircase.

"You can go up. He should be waiting for you."
Adrian vale (ML) 1
"Thank you."
Adrian took a step toward the stairs.
Rowan Miller ( mc mother)
"Don't leave after giving him the files."

"Have dinner with us."

"No excuses. Stay for dinner."
Adrian glanced toward Ethan for a moment.
Ethan immediately looked away

Adrian turned and walked upstairs.
Ethan watched him disappear from sight.
He placed a hand against his chest
He shook his head and quietly returned to his room
