Nina Mo was sitting in her office sipping coffee and running her eyes through some files.

"May I come in, madam?", it was her assistant Jenna.

"Yes please",she replied with her eyes still on the file.

"Your costume for today's party has arrived."

Nina raised her her head from the file.

"don't tell me it's too revealing like previous time. I'm there for business ,not for seducing any one. My dress should be simple yet elegant". Nina sounded annoyed.

"Err.. no no madam, last time was a mistake", Jenna replied.

"well, tell me about the guests who would be there other than Mr.Luo."

Jenna took a paper from her file and started reading. " Madam, the important guests are Mr.Chen from Li group, Mr.Robert from RR group and Mr. Yi from Yi company. But the most important guest will be Dave Huo from Huo group."

"Mmhmm".

"well, he is the 25 year old Devil CEO who is also a powerful heir".

"Ok you may go now", Nina said returning to her file.

"But there is one more thing madam".

"What is it?", Nina asked.

"Your stepmother and stepsister will be there".

"Their things are none of my business" Nina was annoyed just by hearing about them."I don't care if they'll be there or not, you can go"

"ok madam", Jenna went out from the room and closed the door behind.

Nina Mo; is 26 years old. She was adopted when she was 3 years old. Her foster parents regarded her just as their own daughter. When she was 5 , her foster parents divorced because her father had an affair and also a daughter; one year younger than Nina. Her foster mother was rich but most of her shares were taken by her father. Nina started a company after she finished her studies. She want to get back her foster mother's shares from her father.

'its really a great opportunity to be invited to the party. I can talk about the business deal between our company and the Luo group' Nina thought.

She had been working pretty hard for her company.She only attends party for the sake of business deals.

It was evening and Nina was getting ready for the party.

"thank god!! This time Jenna prepared a nice one", Nina sighed looking at the dress.

She got ready. She was looking beautiful on the peach colour party gown,her hair with loose curls and bangs on her forehead. Her makeup was suttle with a rosy Glow.

"Perfect!!"

When Nina reached there, the party was already started. After some hanging around at the party she went to Mr.Luo to talk about the business deal.

"Looking forward to cooperating with you Ms.Nina". Mr.Luo raised his hand .

"A pleasure of my company; Mr.Luo", Nina raised her hand in return.

"Look.. it's Mr. Huo", the crowd started murmuring.

"He's devilishly handsome".

"I want to be his girlfriend".

"looks like the show stealer is here, I have to meet some other guests too, Ms. Nina", Mr.Luo left smiling.people have surrounded Dave Huo like bees surround a garden.

Nina didn't mind to look. 'My job here's finished' Nina thought. 'lets go outside of the banquet hall'.

Nina was just wandering outside the banquet hall. She was never interested in parties and all.

"Nina Mo, long time no see". Nina was disgusted hearing that voice from her back. She reluctantly turned back to see her stepsister.

"Ava, I'm not interested in talking to you", Nina turned to leave.

"wait there sister, tell me; why are you here,to seduce someone?".

Nina Smirked.

"Dear sister, I think you mistook something. I'm not like someone's mother".

"You....". Ava was angered.

They didn't know that a person was watching over them.

"sister, I know you are need of a sugar daddy. Lemme introduce some good man to you".

"oh, well, if there's someone who is more richer than my foster dad, introduce them to your mother. She wouldn't mind if that guy already has a family."

"Nina Mo....", Ava turned to punch her. Nina dodged at the correct time. 'thump!, Ava fell down, her forehead; bleeding slightly.

"Ava, even your's and your mother's sight disgusts me so much that I want to puke". Nina said.

"What happened?" People rushed to there when heard the sound of Ava falling.

Ava smiled.'look how I'll make you ashamed Nina'

"it's her, She just pushed me down for no reason".Ava started crying.

'' poor girl, I heard she is her stepsister. How can she do this to her sister?"

"yes, so bad".the people gathered there started murmuring.

'ugh...here starts the drama'.

"Ava is the person who wanted to hit me!! I just dodged, if someone wants to see that there's CCTV". Nina said pointing at the CCTV camera.

"Do you want people to check,Ava?". Nina Smirked.

"No no no, I don't want to check something to prove my innocence. I will forgive this time, sister." she said innocently but was shivering with frustration

"look she's not saying anything now. seems like what the other girl said was true."the people started saying.

"yes, the girl really wanted to hit her sister but couldn't ,so she tried to frame her".

"yes what a scheming bitch!!".

"I would take my leave then...' stepsister'!!", Nina said."if only your acting skills and tricks were half as good as your mother's", Nina Smirked and walked out.

"Hmm... interesting... ", the person who was watching them said.

" investigate her for me", he said to his assistant.

"Yes Mr.Huo, I'll do it right away". the assistant said and went out.

It was just another normal day for Dave Huo. His secretary has already read his schedule for today. That's when his assistant entered his office.

"Sir, the details of the girl who you wanted to investigate is here".

Dave nodded.

"Nina Mo, 23 years old, started a small company called HR designing company. Was adopted when she was 3, her foster parents got seperated", Dave's assistant said." Here's the detailed file".

Dave took the file and started reading.He smirked.

"Tell Nina Mo that I want to have a meeting with her".

"Ok sir", his assistant said and went out.

Nina Mo was at her car on the way to Huo group's headquarters.

'I wonder why Dave Huo wants to see me'. Nina thought. 'It would be great if such a big group wants to cooperate with my small company'.

She got out of the car and watched the time it's 1:30. 'Mr.Huo will be having his lunch right now'. She went to his assistant and was directed to wait for him.

"Please come in Ms.Nina", his secretary came to Nina after half an hour.

Nina followed her to Dave Huo's office which was really big but not extravagant; just simple yet classy.

"Hi, Ms.Nina. Please have a sit." Dave said in his manly voice.

"Thanks Mr.Huo", Nina said while pulling out the chair .

"May I ask why Mr.Huo wants to see me." Nina asked after sitting down.

"Let's have a deal Ms. Nina".

Nina smiled. 'such a golden opportunity'.

"Be my girl", Dave said with the same serious facial expression as if it was nothing. Nina was shocked. She immediately stood up from the chair ," I'm sorry Mr.Huo". She turned her back even before Dave could say something.

"How much money Mr.Huo?" Nina didn't look look back cause she didn't want to see the ugly smirk on a man's face when he gets an ugly thing he wants.

"You'll give me a plenty of money right?", Nina smirked and turned back."Right Mr.Huo?". Nina saw a surprised expression on Dave's face.

"I have a better deal Mr.Huo", Nina said and took out some money from her purse.

"This is 100 dollars", she placed the money on the table. "Take this and f*ck off!!!". Nina's smirk still intact on her face. "How's that deal Mr.Huo?"

Dave smiled.

'well, that wasn't the expression I expected.'

Nina turned her back and started walking.

"Stop there please Ms.Nina". It was Dave's assistant."It's not what you think".

' then what the hell does he want?'. Nina turned to Dave Huo.

"Actually Mr.Huo wants you to only pretend as his girlfriend". The assistant said. "It's only a contract".

'what?!! The most eligible bachelor of country A needs me to pretend as his girlfriend!!' Nina was surprised.

'are these guys joking?'

"It's true Ms.Nina", Dave said." I only need you to pretend as my girlfriend".

"Why?" Nina asked.

"My parents are forcing me to marry someone I don't like..Like a business marriage. I'm not interested in that". Dave said. " If you pretend to be my girl friend, I can help you get your mother's shares from your father".

"So you investigated me, Mr.Huo?".

"Yes, Ms.Nina?".

"Sorry Mr. Huo, I don't want to accept this offer". Nina said. "I can get back my mother's shares by myself one day".

"I'll take my leave then", Nina said and left Dave's office with large strides.

"What the heck is it!!", Nina was on her car.

"Dave Huo wants me to pretend as his girlfriend!"

Nina was really surprised hearing Dave's so called 'deal'.

"I was there hoping a business deal, who would've thought it was for such a thing?", Nina sighed. A young entrepreneur who just only cares about the growth of her company was utterly disappointed.

'ring...ring...', it was Nina's mother's call.

"Yes mom,tell me", Nina answered the call.

"Nina, how are you dear? Are you doing well?"

"Yes mom, I'm.. and how about your health?"

"Don't care about me,I'm getting old".

"Mother...!", Nina frowned.

"Okay okay, leave it. When will you be here?"

"I'm on my way to home. I'll quickly take a shower and come. I'll be there by evening",Nina said.

"Okay I'll wait for you dear, take care!"

"Take care, mom", Nina hung up the phone.

' I maybe is a foster child, but mom always treats me as her own child', Nina thought. ' I am happy to be with my mom and not to be with the people who abandoned me'.

Nina sighed.

Nina reached her home, quickly had a shower and wore a spaghetti top and cotton regular fit trousers.She set out for her mother's village.

" Mmmm... Spending weekend at mom's place is the best ", Nina stretched her arms as she got out from the car.

'this week has been very tiring'.

'Who's car is it?' Nina wondered seeing the car parked outside her mother's home. Then Butler Xi's name came to her mind. Mr.Xi is butler of the house where Nina's father lives now with his new family. He was appointed by Nina's grandfather. So he is quite loyal to Nina's mother.

' there'll be some urgent matters, otherwise butler Xi won't be here', Nina said to herself. ' I wonder what problem has those two made'.

Nina was about to enter the house. But...

"Mrs.Mo, you should do something, otherwise your shares will be gone.." Butler Xi said.

'The shares!!', Nina was stunned.

"But Butler Xi..... How Can I ?", despair was clearly visible in her sound. "I don't care if I get it or not, but Nina... my child deserves it".

"Mr. Carson has already decided to transfer shares to Ms.Ava."

"But that's my father's property, how can he give to his mistress's child?", Nina's mother was really angered.

"I don't know madam", Butler Xi replied.

'Anyway what can Butler Xi do? We are totally helpless.' Nina let a sigh out of despair.

" My father only had one wish that all that shares go to Nina; my daughter". Nina felt her mother was weeping.

"Mrs.Mo, I can't do anything! I'm nothing but a mere servant. I just came here to inform you", Butler Xi said. " I'll leave then".

Butler Xi was surprised to see Nina and put on a fake smile. Nina smiled at him to; just same as his, a fake smile!

When Nina entered the house she saw her mother weeping. When she saw Nina she tried to wipe away the tears and smile. But from Nina's expression she guessed that Nina has heard everything.

" It's nothing Nina, let it be.. Let's hope this is our fate", her mother was trying her best to hide her emotions.

"Mother... !" Nina rushed to hug her mother.

"Mother, I promise you! I'll get back our share no matter what".

"But Nina..."

"No 'but'.. believe me; I will "... Nina said. " No matter what!!!", she repeated.
