ITS ME
Before we begin, I bought tissues for you guys. 🧻😗😌 Don’t come asking for more later—what if they’re out of stock? 😂
🐰Alright, let’s begin.🐻
CHAPTER #1
The rain fell over Seoul not like a gentle morning mist, but like the sky was tearing itself open to weep for something lost.
It poured down in heavy, punishing sheets. The deluge hammered against dark asphalt, flooded the narrow alleyways, and washed over the high-rise glass towers until the entire city looked like a blurred painting left out in a storm. Down below, streetlights flickered against the gloom, their yellow light drowning in the black pools of water accumulating on the roads.
High on the hills overlooking the city, set far back behind iron gates and high stone walls, stood a massive estate.
Years ago, this place had been vibrant, filled with warmth and life. Now, it looked as though time had wiped away every drop of color, leaving behind only dull grays and cold shadows.
Inside the mansion, the silence was not just quiet. It felt heavy. It pressed against the floor-to-ceiling glass paneling, settled thick within the high-vaulted corridors, and hung over the draped silk curtains that remained tightly drawn against the wet morning sky.
In the master suite on the east wing, a young man sat completely still at the edge of a king-sized mattress.
His eyes were fixed on the floor, carrying a dull, heavy weight—the look of someone who had lived through too much pain and could no longer find a reason to move forward. He wore a crisp white dress shirt, buttoned precisely to his throat, and dark trousers. His hands, pale and thin, rested motionless on his knees.
Beside him on the nightstand lay a small plastic bottle of prescription sedatives, an untouched glass of water, and a silver-framed photograph facing downward.
He didn't need to turn the picture over to see it. Every detail of that photograph was burned into his mind: a sunny afternoon in a garden, a loud, beautiful laugh, eyes curved like crescent moons in pure happiness, and a pair of broad, warm arms wrapped tight around his shoulders.
An hour had passed since his morning alarm rang. He had not moved a single inch.
?????
?????
"Taehyung-ah."
The voice came softly from the doorway. It was low, raspy from a lack of sleep, and carefully quiet so as not to break the fragile air of the room.
The man standing in the doorway looked as though he were carrying the weight of the entire world on his shoulders. He wore a dark gray suit with a loosened tie, and deep, dark circles shadowed his eyes—fatigue that no amount of rest could fix. In his hands, he held a small silver tray with a mug of black coffee and a bowl of warm porridge.
Taehyung did not turn his head.
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
"I'm not hungry, Yoongi Hyung."
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"I know,"
Yoongi said gently, stepping into the room. His shoes made no sound against the thick carpet. He placed the tray on the side table, setting it down with extreme care so the china wouldn't make a noise.
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"You haven't slept again."
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
"I slept."
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"Taehyung."
Yoongi’s voice broke slightly, dropping low.
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"I heard you from down the hall at three in the morning."
Taehyung’s back went rigid for a fraction of a second. His fingers tightened against his trousers, crumpling the fabric, before he forced them to go limp again. He said nothing. There was nothing to defend.
The nightmares never left him. They were continuous, suffocating loops of cold rain, the terrible screech of twisted metal, wet mud, and a dark void that swallowed every hand he reached out to save.
Yoongi stared down at his younger brother. Eight years ago, Taehyung’s laugh used to fill every single corner of this house. He used to be a boy who brought home stray animals, who painted bright, chaotic pictures all over the living room floor, whose stubbornness was warm and full of life. Now, looking at him felt like looking at a faint drawing left out in the rain—smudged, pale, and slowly fading away.
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"Dr. Kang called this morning,"
Yoongi said softly, picking up the small plastic pill bottle and checking the count.
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"He wants to change the dosage again."
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
"It doesn't matter what he changes,"
Taehyung replied quietly. His voice carried no anger, no frustration, and no hope. It was just a plain fact.
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
"The medicine only forces my body to shut down. It doesn't stop my mind."
Yoongi closed his eyes for a long moment. He took a slow, deep breath through his nose, trying to push down the dull ache behind his chest. Reaching out, his hand hovered over Taehyung’s head for a second before he gently patted his hair.
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"We have the board meeting at ten,"
Yoongi said, his tone shifting to business.
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"The directors are pushing to hold the quarterly vote early. They’re trying to use the new shipping delays in Busan against us."
At the mention of the company, something changed behind Taehyung’s blank eyes. The hollow exhaustion vanished, replaced by a cold, sharp focus. It was a habit he had learned over the years—a protective mask made of pure ice.
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
"Let them try,"
Taehyung said, standing up slowly. He adjusted his cuffs with neat, precise movements.
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
"They’ve been trying to throw me out for eight years. They haven't succeeded yet."
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"Tae..."
Yoongi paused, his eyes filling with pain.
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"You don't have to carry all of this by yourself. You know that, right?"
Taehyung finally turned his head and looked his brother in the eye. His face was completely calm, like a wall of solid stone
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
"If I don't carry it, who will? The company is all that's left of him, Hyung. I won't let them take it."
He didn't say the name. He never said the name out loud anymore. To say it was like inviting a ghost into the light, and the ghost was already far too heavy to carry in the dark.
Downstairs, near the heavy front doors of the high-ceilinged foyer, a third man stood waiting.
He held a black leather briefcase in one hand and a digital tablet in the other. He wore an immaculate, tailored black suit, standing with a straight, professional posture. But his eyes—warm, watchful, and filled with quiet patience—moved toward the grand marble staircase the moment he heard footsteps coming down.
?????
?????
"Good morning, Director Min,"
The man said smoothly as Yoongi reached the bottom of the stairs, with Taehyung following right behind him. The man immediately held out a warm silver thermos toward Yoongi.
?????
?????
"Your tea. Peppermint and honey. You skipped breakfast again."
Yoongi stopped at the base of the stairs. He looked at the thermos, then raised his eyes to meet the man's gaze. For a brief second, the tight tension in Yoongi’s jaw eased.
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"Hoseok-ah... I told you that you don't need to do these things yourself. That's what the house staff is for."
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
"The staff doesn't get the temperature right,"
Hoseok replied with a faint, polite smile that didn't quite reach his tired eyes, though the warmth in his voice was clear.
He turned toward Taehyung, bowing his head respectfully.
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
"Good morning, CEO Jeon. The cars are ready out front. The summary for the Busan shipping issue is loaded onto your tablet."
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
"Thank you, Secretary Jung,"
Taehyung said evenly. He took the tablet without breaking his stride and walked straight past them toward the glass exit doors, his long coat trailing behind him like a shield.
Yoongi remained standing at the bottom of the stairs, his eyes following his brother's retreating figure. Once the heavy doors clicked shut behind Taehyung, Yoongi turned back to Hoseok.
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"Did you get any sleep last night?"
Yoongi asked softly, keeping his voice low so the security guards near the entrance couldn't hear.
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
"Enough,"
Hoseok answered gently. He hesitated, his fingers tightening slightly around the handle of his briefcase.
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
"I saw the light on in your room at four in the morning, Hyung. You shouldn't stay up reading through those old legal files. It won't bring you peace."
Yoongi looked down at the marble floor, his expression darkening with guilt and deep exhaustion.
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"I'm his older brother, Hoseok. I was supposed to protect him. I was supposed to protect... everyone."
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
"You are doing everything a human being can possibly do,"
Hoseok said. His voice was steady and calm, acting like a firm anchor in the heavy silence of the house.
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
"And you need to protect yourself a little bit too. If you can't do it, then I will be right behind you. As always."
Yoongi looked up at Hoseok—at the man who had stayed by his side through eight long years of total ruin, asking for nothing, demanding nothing, simply standing guard over the broken pieces of Yoongi's life.
A sharp, familiar pain struck Yoongi’s chest. He wasn't blind. He knew how Hoseok felt about him. But every single time Yoongi felt his own heart start to warm toward Hoseok, an icy memory pulled him right back—a memory of loud, bright laughter, shameless teasing, and a promise made years ago under the summer sun that he could never keep.
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"Let's go,"
Yoongi said, looking away and stepping toward the door.
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"We shouldn't keep Taehyung waiting."
Hoseok bowed his head slightly, falling into step exactly two paces behind Yoongi, his expression smoothing over into that of a perfect, distant secretary once again.
Outside, the heavy rain continued to fall over the dark city, washing the streets in relentless water as the black cars pulled out into the cold morning air.

Boardroom Battles & Whispers of the Past

CHAPTER #2
The headquarters of Jeon Enterprises towered seventy stories over the district of Gangnam—a monolithic structure of steel and blue-tinted glass. To the corporate world of South Korea, it was an impenetrable symbol of economic dominance. To Kim Taehyung, it was a mausoleum.
The top-floor boardroom was suffocatingly warm. Sunlight attempted to break through the thick morning haze outside, casting long, sharp shadows across the mahogany conference table around which twelve senior board members sat.
At the head of the table sat Taehyung.
DIRECTOR PARK
DIRECTOR PARK
"The Busan terminal delay has cost us four billion won in penalties over the last two quarters alone,"
Director Park, an elderly man with thin grey hair and sharp, calculating eyes, declared as he slammed a heavy file folder onto the table.
DIRECTOR PARK
DIRECTOR PARK
"This is not merely an operational hiccup, CEO Jeon. It is a fundamental failure of leadership. The shareholders are anxious. The market is fluctuating."
Taehyung did not flinch. He sat back in his leather executive chair, hands folded neatly in his lap, his posture regal and icy. Beside him, Yoongi sat with his arms crossed over his chest, watching Director Park with a dangerous, quiet intensity. Behind Yoongi, Hoseok stood leaning against the wall, his face expressionless as he took swift shorthand notes on a digital tablet.
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
"The Busan delay,"
Taehyung spoke, his voice low, steady, and dangerously calm,
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
"was caused by an unauthorized structural audit ordered by your nephew's logistics firm, Director Park."
Director Park’s face flushed a deep, mottled red.
DIRECTOR PARK
DIRECTOR PARK
"That audit was completely necessary for safety—"
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
"That audit,"
Taehyung interrupted, raising his eyes to meet the older man’s gaze directly,
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
"was an attempt to redirect maritime contracts to a third-party subcontractor in which you hold a thirty percent silent stake."
Silence descended instantly upon the room. The other board members shifted uncomfortably in their leather seats, exchanging tense glances.
Taehyung slid a single sheet of paper smoothly across the polished wood.
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
"The documentation of your offshore holding company was finalized yesterday evening. If you speak of operational failures again in this room, Director Park, the next board meeting you attend will be held inside a prosecutor's office."
Director Park opened his mouth to retaliate, but the sheer coldness in Taehyung’s dark eyes choked the words right in his throat. There was no warmth in the young CEO, no margin for mercy, no hesitation whatsoever.
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
"Meeting adjourned,"
Taehyung announced calmly, standing up. Without waiting for a response, he turned and walked straight out of the boardroom. Yoongi and Hoseok followed instantly, leaving the remaining executives trapped in an uncomfortable, whispering silence.
As they walked down the private executive corridor toward Taehyung’s office, Yoongi stepped up alongside his brother.
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"You handled Park well. But he has allies on the audit committee. They won't stop here."
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
"Let them try,"
Taehyung murmured, pushing open the heavy double doors of his private office.
The room was massive, styled in minimalist shades of deep grey and black. A wall of floor-to-ceiling windows overlooked the vast expanse of Seoul, but Taehyung never looked out. He walked straight to his desk, sitting down behind the heavy walnut structure.
Hoseok stepped forward, placing a fresh cup of warm tea near Taehyung’s hand.
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
"CEO Jeon, your afternoon schedule includes a review of the art foundation's charity budget."
Taehyung froze. His fingers hovered an inch above the tea cup.
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
"Cancel it."
Hoseok hesitated slightly.
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
"Sir, the foundation was established—"
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
"I said cancel it, Hoseok,"
Taehyung repeated, his voice dropping into a razor-thin, uncompromising tone.
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
"Understood,"
Hoseok replied smoothly, bowing his head without a single beat of hesitation.
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
"I will reschedule the review for next month."
Yoongi watched the exchange silently, his heart heavy. He knew exactly why Taehyung couldn't look at the art foundation's files. The foundation had been built to support young, struggling painters—a direct tribute to the dream Taehyung had abandoned eight years ago. Before his world ended, Taehyung had dreamed of holding canvases, smelling turpentine, and painting sunlight. Now, he managed financial statements, legal threats, and corporate takeovers.
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"Hoseok,"
Yoongi said quietly.
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"Give us a moment, please."
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
"Of course, Director Min."
Hoseok bowed to both of them and quietly stepped out, closing the heavy oak doors behind him.
Once the door clicked shut, Yoongi walked over to the window, staring out at the grey skyline before turning back to his brother.
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"It’s almost August,"
Yoongi said softly. Taehyung’s hands tightened against the edge of the desk. He didn't answer.
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"August 6th is next week, Taehyung-ah,"
Yoongi continued, his voice trembling slightly despite his efforts to remain strong.
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"We need to schedule the visit to the columbarium. The media will be watching the gates as they do every year. Hoseok needs to arrange security."
Taehyung closed his eyes. The light in the room seemed to dim, swallowed whole by an overwhelming, suffocating memory. August 6th. The date was written in fire across his soul. Eight years. Eight long, unbearable years since the phone call came in the middle of the night. Eight years since a car was dragged from the bottom of a jagged coastal cliff, reduced to scorched metal and unrecognizable ash.
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
"Eight years, Hyung,"
Taehyung whispered, his voice cracking for the first time that day.
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
JEON TAEHYUNG(OMEGA)
"Why does it still feel like it happened this morning?"
Yoongi walked over and placed a steady hand on Taehyung’s slouched shoulder. Yoongi didn't offer empty platitudes. He didn't tell him it would get better, or that time healed all wounds. He knew it was a lie. Time had not healed anything; it had simply buried the wound beneath layers of scar tissue that bled at the slightest touch.
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"Because we didn't just lose them, Tae,"
Yoongi whispered, his own eyes burning with unshed tears as he looked down at his younger brother.
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"We lost who we were when they were here."
In the outer office, Hoseok stood near his desk, staring blankly at his computer monitor. Through the thick glass of the private office, he could see the two brothers—the remaining survivors of a tragedy that had shattered two families.
Hoseok placed a hand over his own chest, feeling the quiet, aching throb of his heart. He thought of Yoongi’s tired eyes, of the way Yoongi still looked at the empty spaces in rooms as if expecting someone else to walk through the door.
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
I am here, Hyung💭
Hoseok thought silently, his eyes fixed on Yoongi’s silhouette through the glass.
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
I will always be here. Even if I am only ever a shadow to keep you from being entirely alone. 💭
Outside, the first heavy drops of rain began to strike the high windows of Jeon Enterprises, washing over the glass like a stream of unshed tears.

The Weight of Unspoken Devotion

CHAPTER #3
Night fell over Seoul in a blur of neon lights and cold, relentless rain. Down below, the wet streets reflected the red and blue glow of the city's towering signboards, but five blocks away from the main Jeon Enterprises tower, high up in the private office of CROWN ENTERTAINMENT, the atmosphere was completely still.
Inside the quiet office, Min Yoongi sat buried beneath mountains of financial audits, legal filings, and talent contracts. The vast space was dark, illuminated only by the warm glow of a single desk lamp resting on the edge of the mahogany desk.
Yoongi leaned back, raising a hand to rub his temples vigorously. His eyes burned with an intense, grinding fatigue that sleep had failed to cure for almost a decade. On the mahogany surface beside his elbow, his phone screen suddenly lit up with a low chime.
It was a text from Taehyung’s primary physician: Director Min, CEO Jeon skipped his 7:00 PM therapy session today. Please ensure he takes his evening medication. His anxiety levels are critically high.
Yoongi let out a long, ragged sigh that rattled in his chest. He pushed his chair back slightly and stared up at the dark acoustic tiles of the ceiling, pressing the heel of his palm against his aching forehead.
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
"He skipped it again?"
The soft, familiar voice broke the absolute quiet of the office.
Jung Hoseok stepped into the room, carrying a freshly pressed wool coat folded neatly over his arm and a small, grease-stained paper bag from a nearby street bakery. He didn't need to look at the glowing phone screen to know what the message said; he had memorized the tone and pattern of Yoongi’s notifications years ago.
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"He refuses to speak to Dr. Kang now,"
Yoongi murmured, resting his forearm across his eyes to shut out the dim light.
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"He says the therapist just forces him to repeat things he has no desire to remember."
Hoseok walked over and set the bakery bag down on the edge of the desk, pulling out a warm rice cake wrapped in parchment paper and placing it gently right next to Yoongi’s hand.
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
"He's tired of being analyzed, Hyung,"
Hoseok said quietly, his tone devoid of judgment.
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
"When grief becomes the foundation of your whole identity, having a stranger ask you to dissect it just feels like someone pulling open an old wound."
Yoongi slowly dropped his arm and looked up at his secretary. Hoseok’s dark hair was slightly damp at the edges from the downpour outside. His black tie was still tied in a perfect, crisp knot, and his expression held a deep, attentive warmth.
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"Why are you still here, Hoseok-ah?"
Yoongi asked suddenly.
Hoseok paused mid-motion, his hands freezing over the paper bag.
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
"My shift ends when your work ends, Director Min."
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"It's half-past nine at night,"
Yoongi said, leaning forward and resting his elbows heavily against the desk. He looked at Hoseok with tired, unblinking intensity.
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"You've been working fourteen hours a day for eight years. You don't take vacations. You don't go on dates. You spend your weekends managing Taehyung’s security team or driving me to emergency night meetings. Why?"
Hoseok met Yoongi's gaze. For a fleeting second, the immaculate, professional composure he wore every day slipped completely, exposing a raw, profound tenderness that made Yoongi’s chest tighten with a sharp, familiar ache.
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
"Because if I leave,"
Hoseok said softly, his voice barely rising above the sound of the rain against the window,
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
"who watches over you?"
Yoongi swallowed hard against a sudden lump in his throat. The spacious room suddenly felt tiny, the air growing thick with heavy feelings left unsaid for nearly a decade.
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"Hoseok..."
Yoongi began, his tone laced with caution, warning, and deep pain.
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"I am a broken person. You know what happened eight years ago. You know what I lost. My heart... my heart died on that cliff along with—"
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
"I know,"
Hoseok interrupted gently, taking two small steps closer to the desk. He didn't look angry or hurt; his eyes were clear, filled with a heartbreaking level of understanding.
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
"I know who you loved, Hyung. I was there in college, remember? I saw the way your face lit up when he walked into the room. I saw how bright your world was when he was in it. I know I am not him. I have never asked to replace him."
Yoongi stared up at Hoseok, his dark eyes wide with a mixture of shock and agonizing guilt.
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"Then why do this to yourself? Why stay beside someone who can only give you half a soul?"
Hoseok offered a small, bittersweet smile—a faint curve of his lips that broke Yoongi’s heart far more than tears ever could.
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
"Because half of your soul, Min Yoongi, is still more precious to me than anyone else's whole world,"
Hoseok said softly.
Before the silence could stretch too far, Hoseok picked up Yoongi’s coat from his arm and held it out open.
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
"Come on. You need to get home. Taehyung needs you tonight."
Yoongi stood up slowly from his chair. He reached out to take the coat, but as his hands met the fabric, his fingers accidentally brushed against the warmth of Hoseok's hand.
Hoseok didn't pull away.
For three long seconds, they stood in the dim glow of the desk lamp, close enough to feel each other’s breathing, bound together in a quiet, painful understanding.
Yoongi wanted to close the small gap between them. He wanted to reach out, pull Hoseok into his arms, and finally let himself heal—to let himself be held by someone who was alive, real, and standing right in front of him.
But the moment the impulse rose in his chest, a wave of icy guilt washed over him, freezing him in place.
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
If I love you, 💭
Yoongi thought, looking directly into Hoseok's warm, patient eyes,
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
Am I forgetting him? Am I betraying the boy who promised to wait for me under the summer sun?💭
Yoongi pulled his hand back, severing the contact. He stepped around the corner of the desk, putting distance between them.
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
MIN YOONGI(ALPHA)
"Let's go,"
Yoongi said quietly, fixing his gaze on the dark doorway.
Hoseok’s smile faltered for a fraction of a second before his face smoothed over into its usual composed expression. He nodded politely.
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
JUNG HOSEOK (OMEGA)
"Yes, Director Min."
They turned off the desk lamp and walked out into the cold rain together—two men walking side by side, carrying different burdens of the exact same quiet love.
