“A penny of your thoughts?”

The lady staring at the sun set look at her best friend who had just entered her office.

“What brings you here?”

She said smiling a bit. Her best friend frowns.

“You’re hurting my feelings babe. I travelled back immediately from my business trip just to see you but looks like you don’t want to see me.”

The lady just smiled at her. Even her smiles look so tired and restless.

“Yana called me.”

“And?”

“She told me that you’ve been staying here for quite some time, working.”

The lady nodded her head.

“I am. I have so much work to do."

Kim Stroam, the lady’s best friend, sigh.

“Miss Ea Mizuki, may I remind you that you are not the only one who can do work here in your company. Your sister, Yana is now capable of managing your company, besides I am here to guide her.”

“I know that. But I just want to let her feel some freedom before she manages this company.”

“She had enough of freedom. She’s now ready. Besides, she’s sick worried about your health. And I can say that you really need rest.”

Ea sighs.

“Where can I rest?”

Kim’s face light up.

“Good. I have already booked a flight to Shanghai later 11:00 pm. I already reserved a room accommodation from one of the most know hotel in there.”

Ea’s mouth hangs open.

“Wow, you really planned this.”

Kim grins at her.

“Of course, how can I let my babe manage these entire not now that you really need rest.”

Ea helplessly shook her head.

“Why in shanghai?”

“It’s cold season in there now, and I know how you really loves cold season. You can relax there very much.”

“You really know me.”

“Of course, so better pack up your things and go.”

“Why do I need to pack my things up? I have a branch in there; I can just get clothes from there.”

“Oh, haha. Yeah of course.”

Kim said mockingly while rolling her eyes.

“I don’t need much clothes too, I will just stay there for a night and day.”

“What?! You! will stay in there for a month, if you want to extend, much welcome. But the minimum days of your resting should be a month.”

“A month? That long?”

Kim almost kicks her *** out of her own office. She just laughed. She then head to her house and get her things. While packing her things, Yana came in her room.

“Sister.”

She smiled as she looks at her younger sister.

“Yana, come in.”

“Sister, take good care. Neither I nor big sister Kim will not be able to accompany you in your trip.”

“I will be fine, okay? Manage the company while I am not around. Big sister will guide you.”

Yana smiled at her.

“I will, sister.”

“Good, now, help me on my things. I have to go to the airport now.”

“Okay.”

“This way ma’am.”

While walking towards her company driver, her phone rang.

“Babe. What is it?”

Said the guy who bumped on her and the same guy who hold her before falling. The guy is wearing an all-black outfit. Black cargo pants, black shirt inside the black jacket, black boots, black hat, black face mask and black shades. He has a black bag pack on his back.

Ea bows her head a bit and look for her phone that is now on the airport floor. She immediately gets the phone and noticed that the call with her best friend is still in there.

“Hello.”

\[What happened? I almost got an attack here!\]

Ea’s eyes rolled unconsciously.

“Someone just bumped on me.”

\[Eh? Is he or she blind?\]

“Shh, no he is not blind. I am also not looking on my way so I am not really certain who’s at fault and it doesn’t matter to me.”

\[Haist! I know, I know. By the way, I just heard that your idol has a concert in there. Who is it again? Ash Stavros, right?\]

Ea smiled upon hearing the name of her idol.

When the call ended, she looks around to see if the guy is still there but she saw nothing. She just shrugged her shoulders and started to walk again towards her car.

Her driver is waiting for her beside the black car, and then she saw two other black cars and her body guards. They all greeted her.

She just nodded her head and went inside the car. They are now heading to her manor in Shanghai.

Billboards in there have her idols’ picture and commercial endorsements. She smiled.

She’s really into this guy but she has no time and she doesn’t even know if this guy will pay attention on her. She is after all a mere fan.

When they arrived at her manor, maids and staffs in her house were waiting for her. This kind of view is not new for her but she really hates this kind of treatment.

“Good morning young lady. We are glad to see you here again.”

Ea smiled a bit.

“Thank you mr. Lee. It is good to see you all too.”

“Thank you young lady. Your room is all done and clean, you can rest now. I will come to see you again tomorrow young lady. Have a good rest.”

“Thank you. Take care.”

“Good morning young lady.”

Ea is not yet fully awake when sunlight strikes her face. Her maid opened her room curtain while her butler was near her bed preparing a cup of tea for her.

“Good morning. I slept a long time.”

“Yes young lady and it is a good thing. Miss Kim told us here that you are here to take a rest and an urgent matter in work is the only things to disturb your vacation.”

She smiled. Her best friend really knows her.

“Okay. It’s been a while from the last time I’ve slept for more than twelve hours.”

“By the way young lady, Secretary Lee is waiting for you on the living room.”

“Tell him, I’ll be there in fifteen minutes.”

Her maid and butler left her room. She prepared herself before going out of her room. While going down the stairs, she saw her secretary sitting on the sofa.

“Good morning mr. Lee.”

The latter immediately stood up upon hearing her voice and bowed his head to greet her.

“Good morning young lady. I am very sorry to bother you this early.”

“No need to apologize, what is the matter?”

“Ah, nothing much young lady, it’s just that, the board of directors and shareholders in the company wants to meet you later at 2:00 pm.”

“Is there an urgent matter in my branch here?”

“No young lady, there is no big problem but they just want to grab this opportunity to welcome you now that you have visited here.”

“No, I will then fulfill their wish. Besides, I am actually expecting this matter.”

Ea laughed. Kim really came prepared about this vacation thing for her.

“By the way young lady, miss Kim ordered me to book a ticket for Ash Stavros’s fan meeting. I got you the VIP one. But I am sorry young lady but there is no special treatment on there because his entertainment doesn’t want to tolerate such kind of action.”

Ea smiled. That is the reason why she likes the idol and his entertainment. They treat anyone fairly.

“I know. When will be his fan meeting?”

“Tomorrow night at 7:00 pm young lady.”

“I see. It is a bit late though.”

“Yes, and your body guards will accompany you.”

“Hehe, I know. Thank you for your hard work mr. Lee.”

“It is my pleasure to work for you young lady.”

“Okay, wait for me here, if you need anything, just tell the maids. I will just roam in the garden.”

Ea went to her garden of roses at the back part of her manor. The style of her manor is the combination of modern house and traditional house in china. In the middle is her rose garden that separates the modern designed manor from the traditional Chinese manor. She is the only person allowed to go in there besides her maids that cleaning the manor and the pond in there.

She smiled when she saw her rose garden. There are lots of roses in different colors. The view is indeed relaxing. Her favorite spot is the white roses surrounding a small pavilion.

After some minute of staying in the pavilion, she went to her traditional manor. Two maids greeted her and bark of five dogs.

She laughed.

“Good day young lady.”

She just nodded on the maids and kneels down to reach her dogs. Five Siberian Huskies. Two dogs with pure white color of fur, two with the combination of white and black fur and a brown husky.

“Hello there my babies. How are you doing? Did you miss your mom?”

All of them bark as if they are answering her questions.

“I miss you too! Okay, come accompany me for a while in my library.”

She’s inviting her dogs. She is a dog lover, her house in every country have 3 or more dogs.

“Young lady, it is lunch time already. Should we get your lunch here?”

“Ah, no. I have an appointment after lunch. I will go there. Thank you.”

Her maid just bowed at her.

“I am so sorry my babies, I have to go now, but I will definitely play with you again the other day. Bye bye.”

She went back to her modern manor and takes her lunch with her secretary.

Afterwards, they drove to her company.

“They are already waiting in the conference room.”

“Okay.”

They head to the conference room. Once they enter, people in there immediately stood up and greeted her.

“Have a seat.”

“Thank you young lady. We are sorry for disturbing your vacation but we just can’t let the opportunity to slip. We want to welcome you personally and throw a party for you.”

She smiled.

“Thank you mr. Tan but don’t bother yourself.”

They laughed.

“You are not a bother young lady. It is just a small party and we are expecting you not to turn down our invitation.”

She knows business, of course. She’s been there for a long time, at a very young age; she knows how to read people.

“Well, when will it be?”

“The day after tomorrow, you will never feel outdated in the party because our sons and daughters at your age will go in there too.”

She knew it.

“Thank you for the kind and warm welcome my board of directors and shareholders. Do you have other concerns too?”

One by one, they talk about the issues minor or not about their business. All of them are all oldies except her, 25 of age and her secretary that is in early 30’s.

“We will see you then the other day in party young lady.”

The smile plastered on her face slowly fading.

“It is not your fault. They never changed even a bit. Still forcing their child to be friends with me. Money freak.”

They are now going back to her manor. The discussion last until 7 pm in the evening. She felt so tired dealing with their matters.

“Should I make an excuse for you to ditch the party?”

She shakes her head. Eyes closed.

“No need. I will attend their shits.”

“But you look so tired now young lady. I am afraid about your health.”

“Thank you but I am fine. I just need sleep.”

“Please have a good sleep then young lady.”

“I will.”

Tomorrow came and she woke up really late. It is new for her to wake up late. Her body routine only takes two hours sleep and then rise after that. There must me something that is making her sleep for a very long time. She thought about it from her flight here.

While on the plane, she really slept in the whole flight, which is very rare. Then her first day here and then now.

“Am I taking a pill?”

Her butler stops pouring her tea for a while upon hearing her question.

“What do you mean young lady?”

“I am having too much time to sleep which is very rare to me. Tell me, did Kim also tell you to do that?”

Her butler immediately bowed in front of her.

“I am really sorry young lady. I am just following her order and I also think that it is good for you to take the pill while you are at rest.”

She sighs. Kim is really crazy.

After getting ready, they drove to the said place. She will try to attend the fan meeting.

When they arrived, they already saw many people, especially fans, in front of the hotel.

“Young lady, I don’t think this is a good thing to do. You might go talk to his entertainment to make special meet up with him instead of going in the middle of this crowd.”

Her butler said. She shook her head. She just stood in the distance while watching the crowded area.

“The said artist isn’t inside yet.”

“Yeah, I will just wait for him to arrive and then I will leave.”

“We will stay in here then.”

She winced. She wants to look at the night sky. The hotel is near the mountains and has a good view of the night sky because of the less light pollution in there.

But she knows that her butler and her body guards will not let her go alone. She wants to be alone when she’s watching the stars.

She should think of a way to get away from here. Then she came up with an idea. Why not use the crowd? She smiled.

On the other side, while on his way near the hotel where he has a fan meeting, they saw three black cars and men in black.

“What’s with these people? Are they hotel staffs?”

He asked his manager.

“Probably not. Maybe an important person is in the hotel. This hotel is one of the well-known hotels here in china afterall.”

“But why are they outside?”

“I don’t even know. Why do you care so much?”

“I am just worried; they are not father’s men, right?”

“They are not. Also, your family doesn’t own that kind of cars.”

“You have a point.”

“By the way, your dad called me and told me an important message according to him.”

“What?”

“There is a prestigious party tomorrow night, all the board of directors and shareholders of Mizuki incorporated prepared this welcome party for the CEO of the company. He ordered you to come in there with him and miss Jean.”

He sighs.

“I am not interested about it.”

“I don’t care.”

He just nodded. While walking towards the hotel entrance, many fans are hindering their way inside. This kind of situation is not new anymore, not until he saw a familiar girl.

The girl he bumped with in the airport on the other day. She is in the crowd but not looking at him.

“Isn’t she my fan? What is she doing?”

He just looks at her while slowly walking towards inside the hotel. The girl then ran towards the path inside the forest and mountain site.

“Is she crazy? Why did she run inside that forest at this late night?”

They finally entered the hotel and started the fan meeting after some minute. His mind is still occupied by the girl a while ago.

“Hah! Finally! Alone in this kind of place. I feel sorry for my butler and body guards but just this once.”

Ea said to herself while exploring inside the mountainous forest. She’s looking for a place where she can see clearly the night sky.

She then found a clean area of the mountain. The place is so good for camping. Small grasses on the ground enough to sit on it comfortably.

She sat and looked at the night sky.

“Finally, a refreshing sight.”

She badly needs it. Rest and this kind of view. Good thing she is wearing comfortable clothes.

“I wonder if the fan meeting is already done. I just wasted the ticket mr. Lee gave to me.”

Her mind is really relaxing while looking at the peaceful night sky. She just stayed there for some time.

“Woah! That was the tenth shooting star I saw tonight! Cool!”

“You look like a kid.”

She immediately sat up when she heard a voice of a man. She then saw the guy wearing all black again.

“Oh! You are the mr. Black!”

He winced. She probably can’t see his looks right now.

“Mr. Black?”

“Yes, the one I bumped with in the airport! How come you are here?”

The guy walked towards her and sat beside her. She’s just looking at him. She should feel fear right now because she is alone with this stranger but she felt secured unexpectedly.

“I came here to look at the night sky.”

The guy said then looked at the night sky. She smiled and looked at the night sky too. She can feel that the guy is not a talkative type of person so she will not force him to talk.

“Well, same here but this is just the second motive.”

The guy didn’t talk so she just continues talking.

“I am actually here to meet my idol. I am a die-hard fan of him. He has a fan meeting in the hotel nearby, my secretary even bought me a VIP ticket but I just wasted it. His fan meeting should be done this time around.”

She then looked at him and found out that he is also looking at him. She can’t see his face because of the cap, mask and glasses he’s wearing.

“Why are you wearing sun glasses at night?”

The guy didn’t respond so she just continues talking.

“I am a fan of him since his debut but I didn’t attend his concerts or fan meeting even once, this time, I have an opportunity but due to the situation, I just wasted the opportunity.”

“Why?”

“I saw many fans in the entrance of the hotel waiting for him. I am not allowed to go in the crowded area."

Ea chuckled when she remembers how she used the crowd just to escape from her butler and body guards.

“I am not allowed to go in the crowded area but guess what? I just used the crowded area just to escape and go here alone.”

She then looks at the night sky.

“Just now, I already saw ten shooting stars and I am wishing that I want to see him in person. I really like him a lot. Ah, no, I love him. You might think that I am crazy and this guy will never lay an eye on me. Well, I am also thinking that way.”

The guy seems like just came here to listen to her words. She then remembers how her idol behaves. Same as this guy. Silent and not really fond of talking too much.

They fall into silence and just stared at the night sky. She is about to yawn when her phone vibrated. She looks at the caller’s ID and winced.

“Why does this place have enough signals for phone calls? I’ve been ignoring their phone calls but, haist!”

She helplessly answered her phone while the guy is just staring at her.

“Hello?”

\[Finally you answered your damn phone!\]

“Why are you calling me this late at night?”

\[Answer your own question Ea Luar Mizuki!\]

“I am sorry, okay? I just want to see the night sky alone.”

\[You know that you are not allowed to be alone! Where are you? Your butler and body guards are now having a check point all over the place just to find you!\]

“I am just in the mountain near the hotel where Ash Stavros done his fan meeting.”

Ash is just looking at her while talking over the phone.

Ea’s eyes glim a sad expression. Ash was taken a back.

“Am I? I don’t know, maybe or maybe not.”

“What is your name?”

Ea look at him in the eye and smiled a sad one.

“Nice meeting you, I am Ea Luar. Thank you for the company mr. Black. I have to go.”

She bowed before running away from the place, while Ash was left dumb founded.

“Ea Luar, nice name.”
