It was a beautiful fall day and Beca was turning 10 her mom promised she could get the most cake out of all her birthdays. She was so excited that she was already bouncing off walls.

"WAKE UP GIRL!!!" yelled my best friend Kate

" Go away" I groaned doing my best to stay asleep when kate decided to jump on me.

"what on earth do you want kate" I said in angrily

"HAPPY B-DAY BESTIE!!!!!" Kate screamed loudly

"thanks, now get off me" i said calmly.

" your mom called gotta go." she said try to run out of my room quickly.

"Not fast enough were do you think your going" I asked in a damanding voice.

" you know here and there, home" she said quickly try to run again. "good try but I'm faster than you not to mention stronger." i said causing her to roll her eyes. "That's just because your the top warrior not to mention the alpha's daughter' she said. " your the fifth strongest and the beta's daughter" i said i a mocking tone. That was when we heard my mom yell "girls come here please." "coming mom" i yelled back. When we got down the stairs the pack members my family and there in her seat was the biggest cake she had ever seen. After all the slices were cut she was just about to take a bite when they heard glass shader from somewhere. That was when her father alpha of the pack yelled "rouges!!!!" The one thing that wolves hate more than anything.

With that one word a growl ripped through all there chest. "Dad what do I do?" I asked worriedly.

"Nothing you haven't shifted yet just do whatever you can to keep yourself safe.

Despite what my father said I had to help my people after all I was the future alpha no mater what and and I won't abandon my people.

Suddenly I heard a crash and I couldn't help but go towards it when a rouge showed up I ran the opposite way trying to find my mother. When i found her she was lying on the floor with a huge bite wound on her side blood oozing out slowly.

Suddenly there was a growl I turned slowly and saw large dark brown wolf approaching me I picked my mother up with her leg being dragged. Being a small 4 foot 10 year old black wavy hair, light brown eyes, and light brown skin.

Carrying a 5 foot 6 woman I ran to my fathers room and looked the door soon I heard two howls outside the door and then some whimpers after that. The door opened and my father appears through the door he rushes over to my mother and I checks on us. He rushes into his closet and grabs a cloth rapping it around her wound stopping the blood from being lost.

"What hapened and how did you end up here with your mother?" my father asked me.

" well i was walking and heard a growl and decided to run the other way and found mom lying on the floor." i said to him

"Okay." he said

" We need to head out of here and find other pack members that escaped."

"okay let's go daddy" I said.

As soon as I said that my mom started too shuffle around on their bed.

Once she got up we checked her wounds and she was all healed now it's time to go.
