One day as I was walking to school I saw two men fighting. The other one was holding the other on his collar and hitting his face with his head. I saw the cops coming so I continued walking.

For the first class, Miss Aimee came and told us to do self study because all teachers are called for a meeting. She looks worried as if something is happening.

No teacher came until lunchtime.

All students go to the cafeteria for lunch except me. I am a sickly girl that's why I can't. enjoy the food in the cafeteria. Instead, I packed my own lunch mostly fresh fruits and vegetables. I sat under the tree to eat when I heard Mia, one of my classmates yelling.

" I told you to stay away to Marco!"

I follow the voice and see what is happening.

I saw Mia and Alisha at the back of the Basketball court.

Alisha looked like she was slapped.

" Why can't you understand that Marco is mine!" yelled by Mia.

There has already been rumors. Mia and Marco are a thing but rumors has it that Marco and Alisha are hooking up.

It is not for me to involve my self so I wanted to walked away. But then I heard a crashing sound like a broken glass. So I went back to where I hid and look for what happened.

Alisha's head is bleeding and Mia is just standing there not doing anything!

What should I do!?

Something is wrong with Mia.

Her eyes are becoming larger and red.

She is even smiling.

What do I do?!

If I don't do anything Alisha might die. But if Mia sees me, I get the feeling that she might kill me.

My breathing is getting heavier and heavier.

My body is shaking.

All I can do is to wait for Mia to walk away and so I can help Alisha.

After a few minutes Mia walk away.

Like nothing happened.

I am stabilizing my breathing.

when suddenly!

Alisha started moving!

She's fixing her hair and wiping of the blood.

She's not in panicked or does not even looked like hurt.

What is happening!?

One just almost killed someone!

And the other who is supposed to be dying is acting all fine.

Alisha walked away with her clothes soaked in blood.

Just... What..did..I.. witnessed?

Did .. it .. really.. happened?

I went back to the room hurriedly, put my lunch box to my bag and preparing to go home.

Something is wrong!

Something is definitely wrong!

"AHHHHH!!" a woman shouted.

The door open and a group of students came running.

"Close it! Close it! Hurry and close the damn door!!" shouted by a male student.

"You can't! My friend is still outside!" yelled by a female student but she was pushed aside and ignored.

It's getting louder. The screams are getting nearer.

"Close the windows! Close the windows!"

They closed the doors and the windows.

Students started banging the doors and begging to open the doors until.

"Joseph! Joseph! Open the door! Let me in please!" a women shouted for help.

A guy who seems to be Joseph wanted to open the door but he was hesitant.

"Open that door and we all gonna die!"

said by a female student.

Everyone is silent.

No one is trying to stop Joseph from opening the door but no one is supporting that idea too.

I don't know what happened outside but I can guess.

They must've witnessed the same scary thing that I've witnessed.

The woman outside continued shouting and opening the door knob.

"I'm sorry Stacey! I can't open it! Run away. Please run away and stay alive!" Joseph fall into the floor crying.

"Ahhhh!!!" the woman shouted as if she saw something that could kill her.

The banging in the door stopped and the students outside started running away.

This is bad.

We looked at each other signaling everyone to keep quiet.

The silence stopped us from breathing. Everyone is pale and can't move.

We heard laughter and footsteps.

"Why do they keep running away?"

a voice from the outside.

It is Alisha's voice. I recognized it.

A step and a step.

She is right outside of our room.

"Are they in this room?" she said.

I got cold from head to toe.

Everyone is shivering in fear.

"Clank clang!" a piece of steel fell on the floor.

"Oopsie.. it fell" she said and laughed a little.

There is blood flowing under the door.

"Click click." The door knob moved.

"It's locked..." she said.

A little silence passed.

"But my bag is still inside. I should go get it."

I feel like a cold bucket dropped in my head.

What do we do now?

The door knob keeps on twisting from outside.

What should I do?

If she enters she might kill us.

The room is at the corner so there is only one door.

We cannot fit in the windows going to the hallway.

We are on third floor, should we jump out of the windows going outside?

We would break some bones but falling won't kill us.

But it also doesn't guarantee our safety.

"Why is it not opening?" she said

"Why the hell is this door locked?!" she shouted.

My mind went blank for a second.

And something inside me is telling me to open up that door.

"Open up!" she shouted again.

The door knob is about to break.

And then I.

I don't know what I was thinking.

I walked to the door and open it.

I was right. It was Alisha...

Alisha's eyes are red and the veins on her neck is showing black.

Her clothes has blood. Her hands too.

"Why is the door locked up?!" she asked me.

"We.. we.. we were having a meeting and we... we were too focus.. I'm sorry. Y.y.y you look fabulous as usual." I answered her.

The colors of her eyes turns back to normal and the veins showing on her neck disappears.

Alisha entered the room.

Her footsteps were the only thing we could hear.

No one dares to even breath.

Everyone was looking at her.

"Who are they?" Alisha asked.

"They are... am... representatives ... from other sections." I answered.

I don't know what to say anymore.

Alisha cross her arms and stares at me.

"Why are you pale? Afraid of me?" Alisha asked.

"I am not feeling very well... *cough* *cough*. you know I am always sick.. Why would I be afraid of you. You .. look so beautiful." I said.

"I know." she quickly answered

She grabbed her bag and walked away.

Those few minutes... no few seconds.. feels like years passing through.

We closed the door and locked it.

I was right.

Those infected with virus kill someone or triggers when they are mad.

Suddenly a guy grabbed me.

"What did you do?" he confusedly asked me.

I looked at him for a moment.

I recognized him. He is one of Marco's friends, Liam.

"Answer me." He added

His grip on my arms is getting tighter.

"Calm down first. We are on the same boat here." I replied.

He let go. And tried to calm down.

We sat on a circle while trying to assess the situation.

"This lunch time, I saw Alisha bleeding a lot.

Like she was supposedly be dying if a normal person would bleed like that. I think Mia pushed her though I didn't see it happened."

I feel like I have to tell someone about what I saw or I feel like I am going crazy.

"That can't be! Mia died last night." said by Liam.

"Marco didn't went to school today cause he went to the police station. He called me this morning saying that he accidentally killed Mia when they were fighting." he added.

Everyone becomes silent again...

Others are crying while others are cracking their head to keep up with situation.

I looked through the window.

It's afternoon and it's getting late.

"I know everyone is tired but... it's getting late. What do you guys plan to do?"

It's either we go outside not knowing what is out there. Or we stay in the school for the night.
