Lillie.

Episode 1

Francesca's was the same as ever. Same musty booths, same mediocre pizza, and same boring decor. But none of that mattered, after being thrown out by two other families, this was the best I could get.

I'm Clio Barbosa, the most boring person known to man. Sure a random girl at school said I have "alluring" eyes, but my looks aren't noteworthy. Typical college kid, bags under my eyes, sweatshirts, skinny jeans, and some knockoff Adidas shoes. Now, I'm also not rich. My family wasn't well off to begin with, so I had nothing when they kicked me out. Since I've moved to LA, nothing in the money department's changed either. Sure, Francesca's gave me some cash since I took up the job last summer. That's when the owner gave me the apartment above the place.

I headed downstairs. The smell of freshly burnt pizza filled the room. An employee came up to me, pushing a duct taped cardboard box in my arms.

"Get this to my house by 7! It's a bunch of old stuff from your apartment upstairs. I thought I donated it months ago! Me and my roommates live in the complex downtown. The address is on the box! Thanks-" She immediately got pulled away by the manager. I didn't hear half the things she said. I walked out onto the sidewalk, and headed up the long and steep road. The park at the top of the peak was the only way I knew how to get around.

The bus stop was still crowded, like it was everyday. Yup, everyone was here, the old peppermint smelling guy, the tired mom and hyperactive toddler, oh and my favorite, the smoking teen who actually was a good conversationalist. His name was Roy, Roy Wojnar. He called me over. We weren't friends or anything, just within the same age group.

"Hey man. What's in the box?" His bright ocean blue eyes flickered the flame of his cigarette. He smelled like the inside of a new shoebox. Strange, but distinct.

"Its some old junk from my apartment. Some girl told him to bring it to her house," I said, putting the box on the bench behind him. He twisted the cigarette in his hand a couple times and stared at it. "Where are you going?" Finally it seemed like the question caught his attention. Roy stared at his shoes. Not that his shoes were anything interesting, there were just some cheap Target sneakers.

"Ugh. I've got to go to a wedding this weekend. They're hosting it at a hotel uptown. They're really flexing their money here." He laughed. The bus pulled up, and he threw his cigarette on sidewalk.

As soon as I took a step, I tripped on a pebble. And that's when I met her.

"Are you ok?" she said in a soft voice, I looked up, to see beautiful golden hair streaming behind her.

She was perfect.

Episode 1 (Continued)

"Uh...yeah...I'm fine," I got up from the sidewalk. Her face was perfect, with bright and soft brown eyes, a round jaw, and thin eyebrows. Absolutely beautiful, especially with the pink sweater and jeans she was wearing. Her boots were tall, completely engulfing her small frame. She was so tiny, she looked like a doll.

"What's your name?" She stopped in front of me, with her light curls framing her face. It was like she was an angel.

"Sorry I have to go-" I turned around and stepped on the bus. I could feel her tiny hand grasp my shoulder. It sent a chill through my body, the most beautiful person I've ever seen touched my shoulder. She grabbed my arm and pulled me off the bus.

"I said: what's your name?" She had her hands on both my shoulders now. My eyes darted around, trying to take in her entire person. I shivered again, and she looked confused.

"I-I I'm Clio..." I pushed her hands off my shoulders. "Who are you?"

"Lillie."

Lillie. Delicate, just like her. Perfect, just like her. It fit her beautifully. Lillie, I liked it, the name rang in my head like a ringtone. I knew who I was going to be obsessing about tonight.

"Wow. It really suits you, Lillie." I was trying not to be too creepy, even though I already am head over heels for this girl.

"Thanks. I like you," she put her hand back on my shoulder, this time a bit more persistent. "We should meet up. Are you free tomorrow?"

Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God, oh my god. She really just did that.

"Yeah. Where do you wanna meet up?" Be cool, Clio, don't be a loser. I'm sure my face was red as a firetruck. I stopped sweating so much though. Her hand was still on my shoulder, but she started moving her hand down my arm. Her hand stopped around my elbow.

"I have an apartment downtown, if you wanna drop by-" She stopped, as I placed my hand on her shoulder.

"I'd love to. It's a date." I glided my hand down to her waist and then let go. I turned around and started walking down the side walk, hoping to avoid her reaction.

"IS THIS YOUR BOX?"

God damn, sometimes I hate myself. Lillie picked up the ginormous box and screamed.

"Yes." I trudged back up, grabbed the box, and left. Lillie grabbed my arm.

She flipped me towards her, and flew her hand behind my neck. She started lifting up onto her tip toes and stuck her face on my shoulder. A little shocked, I dropped the box and placed my hand on her back. She placed her hands on my shoulders again, and lifted her face behind my head. I could feel her hands wrapping around my back. She then kissed behind my ear. Do something cool, kiss her or something! I leaned in and tussled her hair in my hand, before I pulled her face to mine and kissed her perfectly round lips. They were like clouds, and I just wanted to melt into them. She kissed right back, so I closed my eyes and just forgot about all the things I was worring about.

All that mattered was Lillie.

She pulled away after a couple seconds. She took her hands off my shoulders and stepped back. "Woah...I have go..." I knew she had to go, and so did I, but I couldn't help it. I pulled on the neck of her sweater and pulled her back in for another kiss. She was amazing at kissing, like she was an expert or something, but she wasn't gross with it. She just had perfect timing and knew exactly what to do with her hands.

Now I was really late. I pulled away, waved goodbye, picked up my box, and bolted it down the street.

The big complex...address on the box... I turned the corner and kept running. I started thinking back to what just happened. Great, I just practically kissed a stranger. What was I thinking?! Whatever. It didn't matter now, I kissed her and that was it, no going back. I turned another corner. I wonder what Roy would say about this... I pulled out my phone and texted Roy.

Me: Guess what just happened.

Roy: Its a bus stop. Nothing happens.

Me: Nope. I just made out with a girl.

Roy: Yeah ok. Like a rando chick wants to make out with you.

Me: Her name's Lillie, and I'm going to her place tomorrow.

Roy: Lillie? Lillie Mabel? She goes to my school...What does she look like?

Me: The most beautiful thing ever, golden hair, brown eyes, and a round face.

Roy: That's her. And get this: She's my girlfriend.

Me: Oh. I didn't know-

Roy: I'm not mad at you, I'm mad at her.

Me: Shit, man.
