She was sitting on the side of his bed, feet resting on floor, both hands in her lap with fingers interwind. Her lips were trembling, as if she was trying to tell him something that meant life and death to her. Her eyes were glistening with tears and head was stooped low. She couldn't look at him. Not after everything that happened. She had hurt him, no killed him, shattered his heart in to a million pieces. How could she sit there like that? Why now? Why not when he wanted her to hold him, to tell him it was okay, to tell him that it was just a nightmare?

"What are you doing here? ", he was furious but kept his voice calm. He didn't want her to know that the past still affected him. "Is everything okay?". "I..... Uh I ummm", she couldn't say it. "I am kinda getting late so please speak up already." How dare she sit here? . She didn't deserve it. "I just uh.......Ray I....," she went silent again. "Ugh please if u are just gonna sit here and not say anything then better join the guests", his voice was loud this time. He was trying hard to control his temper . At that her body started shaking. Tears begin to wet her cheeks. He felt a heartache. Why did she still make him feel like that? Hadn't she done enough? "OK take your time I am just gonna get changed in next room." He picked up his things and rushed towards the door. "Don't do it! Don't do it Ray!!!!", she finally screamed. His hand froze on door knob, his heart forgot to Beat. Was she? How could she? No! No! No!

He slowly turned around to face her. This time she was looking at her. Her desperate gaze tug a little at his heart.His vision got blurry and mind came to standstill for a moment.His throat was dry.He swallowed hard managed to finally it utter it "No ! It's too late".

Hi lovlies it's your author. This is my first time writing a novel. I have thought of writing it down for a long time. This novel is very close to my heart and character are quite relatable. Hopefully you are also gonna fall in love with them as well and understand that life isn't always how you plan it Love isn't always at first sight. It's takes sacrifice, understanding, misunderstanding, ignoring, accepting and fighting for it.

Her eyes were blue... Yeah definitely blue with blonde waves going down her back. She was sitting in the front desk chewing on side of her bottom lip concentrating on some book with a pen held between her index and middle finger. I, never in 17 and a half years of my life, knew that someone just focusing on some damn book could look so hot and I was falling.... Falling deep in love with her, with everything moving in slow motion, a cute little  frown on her forehead was making me go crazy until  my rear touched the ground and it dawned upn me that I was falling.... Literally.... But  OFF. MY. CHAIR!

"Again in the wrong seat soldier? !", she inquired with that familiar smirk  and every nerve in my body just wanted to scrub it off of her face. It's Zoey my childhood frenemy! 5'3"  Pure evil who just manged to kick the chair underme bringing me to ground in front of whole damn class! Like me? Me, Rayan, 6'1" tall guy who could just swing her around with one arm!

"What Zee? Didn't mommy  kiss u goodbye today", it was low, very low but managed to wipe that smirk of her face! Bingo! Zee:1, Ray :1. There is nothing Zee hates more than to be reminded that her mother is never around for her. She moved in to my neighborhood when both I and her were 8. I was forced to be friends with her because she was just a little, lonely, innocent angel who had new friends in the neighborhood . But it was not until this little angel brought a needle and pushed it straight in to my arm with such swiftness that I didnt even get to register what atrocity I had suffered at the hand of this creature untill there was a red speck on my whiTE t-shirt!  that day, a silent vow was taken by both of us to hate each other with our whole hearts unless the other dies OR, if very LUCKY, gets a heart transplant( if that's how it works?).

"Seriously Ray?", was all she responded with. Okay yeah now I feel a bit bad but who kicks someone in Front of whole class. That totally justifies my behavior. It does. Does it?

"Settle down class", Mr Cooper oredered in his same rusty monotonous voice. "today we are going to talk about mendles' law of inheritance" . Ugh not again.

I hate whole stupid genetics thing and who the hell cares about what the peas underwent at the hand of some maniac in the name of science. Mr. Cooper went on speaking on the topic, but only thing I was able to focus on was Lily, the same girl I was mentioning earlier. Lily and I have only biology together. She might be one of the reasons why I didn't quit biology despite my "affiliation" with Mr. Cooper and his genes.

"Mr. Tucker so what can u tell us about random assortment of alleles? ", Mr copper had caught me right in the action. And what was he asking about? I needed to know first what in the hell were alleles to comment on how they would like to get assorted. Why me? Why in front of lily? She must think I am the dumbest *** sitting here.

"Tell him at that time genetics weren't well established so Mendle hypothesized the the concept of alleles just at random", zee whispered. Really?that Doesn't make sense?And Of all the people who could help me why was she doing it? Was it some kind of game again? Should I trust her? "we are waiting for you Mr Tucker!", he announced again. Hmmm well it's not like I had other options ". So I stood up and repeated exactly what she had told me.

"welldone Mr. Tucker", my chest just inflated with so much pride. Thank u zee! Sorry I was such a prick to you! "but u forgot to mention the assortment part! What about that? ", okay shit why didnt I think of that. How could I trust her. Ugh!!!!!

"ummm I was hoping Mr. Cooper that u will enlighten us on that point", ugh! Ugh! Ugh! Lame excuses. What was I? 8?lily must have  hated me by now. "can I see u in my office after the class Mr. Rayan?", no not another session with him. I better read origin of species than have a Councelling session with him. "actually mr. Cooper I have to get to my practice .....". "that was not a request" he announced. Really? Sounded like one to me. "yes offcourse Mr. Cooper " . I nodded . Why Ray why? I just ruined all my prospects with lily. Ray:1 Zee:2.
