'grandma, you wait a minute, I'll come after I pay the fare, wait there. ' these words came from the slightly parted lips, colored in natural color, the head turned and thick black hair, flew backward.

A figure not so thin and not so thick, but just fine, took a few steps to highway, where stood a cab, She went there, and paid the bills, then returned to her grandma's side, where the old lady has met another old lady, and both were chatting.

"hey, meet my granddaughter, Neena, sweety say your greetings to the lady." , said a very old figure, wrinkles on the faces could the time it has through. yet the eyes shinning like a star, guiding those who seek the path. "Hello, lady. I'm Neena.", a slight and very polite smile rippled through her thin lips, which reached her eyes. 'You're so beautiful child, God bless you' said the other lady with a warm smile.

"come on, let's go upstairs, you said you live here, right? let Neena help you carry your things, Neena, help the lady, sweety.",' Oh sorry Ma'am, just hand me the things, I'll help you, ',"Oh, no darling,you already have your own luggage, how can I trouble you, you're such a delicate girl", the beautiful face of Neena lit up with a bright smile " I'm not that delicate, grandma, so just hand me the things I can manage, your just focus on yourself, and chat with my grandma ", with that said the old handed over her things to Neena to carry, they chatted as they, walked to the elevator.

' which floor you live in, grandma?' asked Neena as she was ready to press the button."it's 19th floor, sweety.",' we're in the same floor then, great." with saying that Neena pressed the button. inside the elevator three women were chatting about just trivial things, when Neena's grandmother asked the old lady, "so all these groceries means, you're gonna cook, and when you're alone? and you're just next door to ours why not just come to our place, Neena cooks very good food, you'll surely love it, either way you're alone, just think as we're giving party to our new neighbors" the atmosphere was very friendly, after deciding the meal in Neena's home, all of them went to the same apartment.

Inside the apartment, Neena arranged the luggage properly and the two lady chatted happily. after which Neena went directly to the kitchen where she started making dinner, she decided to make three to four dishes for the supper tonight as there was an extra member today, but she made a bit too much.

The food was being served, and the table was getting ready, when suddenly a phone rang. the old lady saw her phone and it flashed a name ' Jishan Gu', old lady picked up the phone call, and from the other side came a gentle yet stern voice, as if it was trying to meekly trying to show anger "where're you Ma'am, it's already dark and you're not home yet, don't you know it can be dangerous out there, all by yourself, in that condition of yours" after that a long pause, where neither side spoke, then again the voice came "okay, where are you, I'll come pick you up right.." but his words froze when he heard a few words from the other side of the call, which didn't belonged to his grandmother, they seem to be coming from very far and yet, very near, near to the heart, like ringing a bell which was never there, "food is ready. ladies wash your hands and get ready.", the eyes of the man twitched when he uttered these words "where are you, grandma?" and finally the lady over the phone, spoke "Now you have the time to, even pick me up, you unfillial grandson, I'm not coming home now, I've got better people by my side than you, so don't bother me, you brainless boy" and she hung up the call.

"who were you talking to so angrily?", said Neena's grandma " No one, just this useless grandson of mine, who doesn't even have time to spend with this old lady, I'll die in a few days maybe, and yet he won't be bothered with me, I'm so done with him" old lady sighed as she complain about her grandson, at which moment Neena came to them and said " dinner is already prepared I'm putting it on the table you guys freshen yourself up, the. come to the table", and Neena left to finish her remaining chores, when suddenly her eyes flashed with an unknown beam, she seemed enthusiastic although she was complaining moments before, she again called her grandson and said, "if you still care about me, then come the door right next to ours, I'm there enjoying my meal with the neighbors they're pretty good people, and I'm friends with the old lady there, so just come here for the dinner" from the other side came a sighing sound and then rang the words "but the foods already here grandma why would you go there? besides they again must be people like last time, sent by dad" old lady was very angry over these words of his grandson then only said, "come or not, upto you, but don't bother me" with that said , she again hung up the phone and this time even switched it off.

A man standing in the suit in the dark apartment was dialing a number which was switched off now and he couldn't through to the call, "Sigh.." and the tall figure of the man went to the main door opened it, went outside and shut the door.

"ding dong.." the doorbell rang, Neena who was putting dishes in the table stood still, thinking who could come to their place at this time, nonetheless she opened the door, and found a tall and handsome figure standing straight on their doorstep, she has never seen this man before, she was alert, some stranger randomly appeared on her door at night, Neena has lived on her own for quite some time, therefore she was quite wary of strangers, she made a posture not appearing to be offending and neither meek, but seemed like a person not to be triffled with, she said with all the professionalism she held, "How may I help you, Sir?" she looked into the deep blue eyes, which seemed like they'll not listen to anyone and will break through every thing that stands on the way, with a very imposing vibes it was giving, Neena thought to herself, this person is surely not a good news , is he trying to apprehend me with just this posture of his, keep yourself together Neena, don't let him get to you, you have to prepare yourself with how to talk to people anyway, so why not just take him as an experiment prop, she was in her thoughts, when a deep voice rang in her ears "I'm Jishan Gu, my grandmother said she is at your place, I'm here to take her home, is she here?"

As I reached my apartment I saw it was locked, which meant grandma still has not come home, where could she be this late? is she again mad at me for being so busy at work, God, I'll just try calling her, her health is deteriorating these days, what if there was an accident, I dialed my grandmother's number just as she picked up the call, I couldn't contain my worry ,"where're you Ma'am, it's already dark and you're not home yet, don't you know it can be dangerous out there, all by yourself, in that condition of yours", I talked to her in pretty bad tone I guess, is she mad, or she was already mad, God, she is the only person to make ponder if I'm using the right tone or not, looks like she is not willing to speak fine fine I'll give in "okay, where are you, I'll come pick you up right.." , wait, what, did I hear correctly I heard voice of some girl, she is not somewhere dangerous, right? She is so naive, she might even be tricked by those girls , that keeps coming after me, yeah another thing to look out for.

"where are you, grandma?" and she is still not willing to talk to me, "Now you have the time to, even pick me up, you unfillial grandson, I'm not coming home now, I've got better people by my side than you, so don't bother me, you brainless boy" and she hung up the call. At least tell me where are you, grandma, I'm so gonna set this girl straight if she has some pre made plans and is trying to get on grandmother's good books, ugh, let's just call her, where could she go, " the number you have dialed is currently switched off, please try again later." she actually switched her phone off, grandma you sure know, how to kill your grandson without actually killing him right. Let's just find out where she is. With this, the tall figure threw the door open which flew back and made a bang sound upon closing, 'ding dong..' , it's already been a moments why are not they opening the door.. the door flew open and in front of me appeared a young girl of around 23-24 I guess, wearing loose t-shirt with loose pants, her hairs are braided messily , many strands of hair are standing and some are on her face, she has sweat beads on her forehead, she is wearing spectacles, there is some flour on her glasses, she was the one who is cooking probable, but if she is actually sent by my father, she won't be standing in front of looking like this and looking straight into my eyes, right? a serene voice came, but the man can still catch the nervousness in the calm voice and the naivity in the posture which was trying to appear as imposing but polite at the same time, time has experience has shaped this man, he can see the innocence behind these eyes which are looking straight into his twisted world and trying to pry things out. These clear eyes behind the glasses can't be of someone who is planning something, my experience of all these years says, she is just an innocent girl, so she might not be scheming after all , it might be fine, to let grandma have dinner here. it's not like , I'll let things go beyond this, this much should be fine. "how may I help you, Sir?", these words came out of the girls thin lips, Is she being wary of me, so she wasn't expecting me here, means she didn't knew grandma called me. These black eyes of her, shining, they are inviting but this girl sure is defensive and a bit offensive I guess, Is she taking me to practice her communication skills perhaps, that's what people mostly do I guess, her fingers.. she is nervous talking to a stranger, "I'm Jishan Gu, my grandmother said she is at your place, I'm here to take her home, is she here?", she relaxed finally upon hearing I'm not someone uninvited , she pretended to be tough and strong, well she might have deceived me if I was not experienced enough, while she is as nervous and thinking of what could go south, It can be dangerous if she will let things be seen, by the other party. Regardless, it's not like she has anything to with all these anyway.

The tall figure of Jishan Gu entered the door, opened by a girl who was shorter than her. Neena closed the door behind him. and they both entered the room, where sat two old ladies at the dining table, chatting happily, when suddenly a girl's voice came, she said " grandma, Mr. Gu is here.", both old ladies, looked back at the mention of this name, and suddenly one spoke," only now, do you know, to come to look for this old lady, you unfillial child" , her face fell, as she complained, the only man, present in the room right now, sighed and came next to his grandmother and said, " I'm sorry grandma, there was work and I got all busy there, I'm very sorry, now would you come back with me", the old lady frowned at his word "come back where, my dinner is still due, you think I'll follow you, to get bored to death, you brat" , saying that she pretended to pout and turned her back at her grandson, who sighed again and said, " what do you want me to do then, hmm?", old lady smiled brightly at his words and said, " let's have dinner here, okay? she's already cooked, it'll go to waste otherwise, we'll head home, right after eating" the voice of dishes being put on the table were the only sound in that room at the moment, Neena was doing her work without a care in the world , when the old lady again said , " Neena sweety , it's okay if the pair of us grandma and grandson eat at your place , right ? we're not too much of a trouble , are we? " , at which the other lady replied , " of course not, come here whenever you have time, all right, when Neena goes to work, I'm all bored as well, we'll give each other company," , after which she looks at the young man, standing beside the lady next to her and says to him, "come sit, son, my granddaughter cooks real well , have a taste, sit." at which the lady next to the man, tugs her down and makes him sit, while she says, "we'll have dinner here, thanks Neena sweety,". Neena finishes putting all the dishes after which she serves the food, everyone starts eating, the food was much tasty and it seemed tastier to the old lady because of all the warm atmosphere around the dinning table, it has already been a long time, since, there's been so much people sitting on the table, enjoying their food while chatting happily, around her.

They finished eating after which Neena gathered all the dishes and took it to the kitchen, The old lady tried to help , but of course, Neena politely declined . after chatting for a few more minute and both grandma and grandson duo left.

"Neena , that was a great evening, wasn't it, now I won't be bored at home , even with you going to office", old lady beaming with happiness, to which Neena replied ," yes, granny, invite that grandma more to our house, it seems she remains alone at her house as well, you both could use each other's company and I can make you eat many things to eat as well" both grandma and granddaughter duo, chatted for the time untill they went to sleep.

The next morning, Neena woke up early, she had to go to her office, after she took the holiday, she is about to be late to her work, she hurriedly made breakfast of two people and left, the rest of her day went without any accident as she kept herself busy with her work, it was already time that she get off of work, reached home, after resting for some time she started working in dinner, when her grandma say, "I was with the other lady, today for most of the day, we chatted and she also ate your veg rolls you did for breakfast she liked it very much. and asked me to thank you. One nice lady, don't you think?" , ' yes grandma she is a nice lady' , " she told me generally they eat take outs so, she doesn't actually like the food at her home, but she really likes what you cook,", Neena hummed on her words and continued to do her chores while old lady kept talking , " she feels so lonely , so I invited her to breakfast at our place tomorrow" Neena, as she wasn't listening very carefully without even listening , hummed and didn't pay much attention, her head was hurting, the long travel and the busyness was finally making her tipsy and dizzy, she splashed cold water on her face, to get her head clear, finally it helped getting her senses back, she quickly finished her chores and went to sleep.

' hey Neena darling, what happened?' Neena felt a buzz inside her head and her eyes opened with all the noise around and inside her head , she saw her grandma was sitting right next to her, she seem worried, when Neena used all her strength to utter the words " why is your face like that, granny, what happened" when finally the old face relaxed and said, " what're you giving me this smile for, you are so sick, and would not wake up, I was so worried, I thought.." with that her patience gave off and she started sobbing profusely, " hey, hey Grandma , don't cry okay, look I'm still awake and fine, I was just dead tired so I slept like dead, okay? now don't worry," Neena's head was still buzzing but she kept it under wraps as she didn't want to let her grandma worry, she thought to herself, I'll go to doctor before I go to work, when something suddenly occurred to her , "oh yeah, your friend was coming for breakfast right, let me make something real quick , I'll be leaving after that, so help me" . Neena quickly did some dishes and got ready when her doorbell rang, ' I'll see grandma you, put the food on the table' , Neena opened the door , and welcomed the old lady in. 'come on grandma, my Granny's been waiting , come let's have breakfast, ' as the old lady looked at Neena , she was in her office clothes , she seemed satisfied ,and both went to the table and Neena served the breakfast to them, when suddenly old ladies face fell and she said, "I'm so envious of you, you have such a good granddaughter, and I have that unfillial grandson, he is going to anger me to death, just last night he promised to spend quality time with me, now he is even ignoring him morning meal because of work ", as she complained she looked at Neena then pretended to say hesitantly, " Neena sweety, may I ask of you, for a favor, if you don't mind, only of you don't mind dear, not like I'm forcing you, " listening to her words Neena chuckled and said " just say it granny , you're like my own granny , why would I refuse, " , an evil light flashed through old lady's eyes which she immediately suppressed " sweety can you pack some breakfast and hand it to jishu, he is in the room, " seeing Neena expression change , she suddenly changed her tone as well and sounded wounded " not that you need to, he is so poor I only want him to have breakfast" and pretended to sob, Neena was already having a headache , although she could sense something was not right with all this going on, but she let this feeling pass, didn't wanting to drag things more, she said yes and packed two meals, one for herself and one for Jishan Gu, she thought she would eat on her way, when she started to leave after saying goodbye , suddenly the old lady said again, " sweety this is his cell phone number, he might not open the door, so just call him in this number" with that the old lady, sent Neena the number and Neena went out of her rooms, standing on the lobby, she didn't feel very good, she took few steps and rang a doorbell which even after sometime didn't seem to respond, she rang the bell for a few more times when the door suddenly burst open, with there standing a man, with solemn expression, seeing whom Neena said, "good morning Mr Gu, here is the breakfast, that your grandmother asked me to, send you" she handed him the breakfast, tha man was in daze , his expression seemed as if he was confused, but he immediately managed to hide his thoughts , which were overflowing on his face, " hope you have a good day, Mr Gu ". with that said the slender figure of a girl left from in front of Jishan Gu, without saying anything unnecessary and unneeded, but why was she in such a hurry, the man didn't move from the door untill the figure of the woman entered the elevator and disappeared, then the man looked at the bento in his hand , there was something his eyes which was unraveling when suddenly he turned around and shut the door behind him .
