Sitting on the sofa was the said CEO with a glass of wine in hand ."sigh.. my birthday is celebrated all over the country?? " she chuckled bitterly, "how funny, the people I don't even know are celebrating my birthday?? my own parents didn't even call me " a single tear fell from her eyes. She was going to drink the wine when ,her phone started ringing.

She groaned and pick up the call.

"What is it secretary Lan did I not tell you to not disturb me today " she said coldly.

The person on the other line replied with a trembling voice, "I-I'm sorry miss president b-but Mr Choi is asking for an appearance ". "Did you not tell him that I'm not available today ". She said annoyed.

"I-i did ma-am but he said it was urgent ".

"sigh.. fine. I'll be there in 30 mins". with that she cut the call immediately without waiting for an answer .

With a huff she started dressing up. She wore a simple navy blue suit (which, though simple, is much more expensive than you could ever afford and neither can I :^) took the car keys and got out of the door. She took the elevator and went to the parking lot. She entered the car and started driving. She was getting late so she decided to take a short cut instead of taking the highway. She was on her way when she saw a truck coming towards her in high speed. The road was narrow so she couldn't turn sideways. The truck was getting close. She then, in a hurry, turned to the left side and crashed into a tree . The tree then fell on the car but thankfully didn't hit her. However she was badly injured and her eyes were getting blurry.

She saw a person running towards her.

???:" miss please stay awake I have already called the am.. " It was the last thing she heard before complete darkness surrounded her.

"yes, I agree. Though the notes were off in some places but looking at the fact that you are not professionally trained in singing we can look pass that and I must say your dance was exceptionally good " said the man from before.

"thankyou sir, thank you ma'am " Alex said bow.

"with this your audition is over Mr Alex we will contact you when the results are out " said the lady.

"thank you for having me here sir, ma'am. Have a nice day " after saying that Alex gave a last bow and left the room.

After exiting the room Alex released a deep breath he didn't know he was holding.

Alex pov:

After exiting the room I called my father.

'ring' 'ring' he picked up on the second ring "hey, son are you done with the audition? how was it? " my dad asked as soon as he picked the call. A smile appeared on my face knowing my dad must be more worried than me.

"Yes, dad its done . I was a little nervous but I think it went well."

"That's my good son don't worry they will select you for sure . They would be fools for not selecting you. "

"I don't know dad, there were so many participants I don't think "

"Now, non of that son stop over thinking you did your best and that's all that matters " my mom cut me off. "and why is it your dad whom you called and not me huh? " I laughed a little, I can already hear her pouting."That's cause my son loves me more. " I heard my dad reply. Then they both started bickering. I laughed and replied " alright alright stop bickering you two I love you both equally alright. "

"I know u love me more sweetie, anyway when are you coming back, I'm already ready missing my baby so much " my mom said.

I blushed a little when I heard her calling me baby. "mom! I'm not a baby anymore " I said pouting a little. "and I think I would stay here a little it's my first time coming here after all ". After cutting the call I realized that I was already out of the building.Talking with my parents always put my heart at ease although we are not from a well to do family, my parents never forced me to study hard and settle for a 9 to 5 job they always encouraged me chase after my dreams.

I started walking towards the hotel where I booked a room for one week which was a little further away as I didn't have enough money to rent the ones near these area I decided to walk there so that I can enjoy the view and also to save some money.

I was walking through a narrow road when I noticed a truck from behind coming at full speed, I also noticed an expensive looking car, I don't know what it's called I'm not that big fan of cars OK but I'm sure it must be expensive because it looked expensive, anyways that expensive car was coming this and the truck was also coming this way. OMG!! both of the vehicles are coming this way. they are gonna crashhhhhh!! I looked around trying to find someone but there was no-one except me and the approaching vehicles who are gonna crash with each other. shit! what should I do, what should I do, wait what can I even do ! I'm not even the one driving. Just went I was having an existential crisis the expensive looking no expensive car turned to my side oh no! the car's gonna crash on me I'm gonna die. no please God I have not even stepped on the stage yet!

I closed my eyes tightly preparing myself for the pain. But nothing happened "huh" I opened my eyes and looked at my self. "I save nothing happened to me tha...." I heard the sound of the tree falling on the car. OMG!!OMG!! the tree fell on the car! the tree fell on the car! what should I do! what should I do! yeah! I should call the ambulance,yeah I dailed the ambulance number , they received after a few rings "hello! there is an emergency an accident occurred and the crash car i-i mean the car crashed please come fast, hurry up please "." sir, please clam down we will try to reach there as soon as possible can you tell us where u are now " "yeah yeah I'm at ***road please come fast " "don't worry sir we will be there as soon as possible " with this they cut the call. oh yeah there was a truck too "huh where is the truck? " Alex it's not time to worry about the truck stupid! with this I ran towards the car. there was only a woman on the passenger seat ,she was almost going to lose her consciousness "miss please stay awake I have already called the ambulance. miss!! " wait a second she looks like..omg OMG she's Anne San the famous ex idol!! she's so beautiful!!I shit! what am I thinking! "miss Anne! miss Anne!" oh right I should get her out of the car. after I got her out of the car I laid her on the ground and checked her pulse . I thank God!! her pulse are still there. she is alive!

After a few minutes the ambulance came.

While taking her to the ambulance the staff looked at me.

"sir you have to come with us "

"to explain the situation to the police ,please get in sir"

Alex pov:

"Thank you so much for your co-operation sir "

Then the officer went away to talk to the doctor.

Just as I checked my phone to see the time,my eye widened shit 13 missed calls from mom and 10 from dad. I was so nervous that I didn't even check my phone.

I hurriedly dailed my mom number.

It got picked immediately, "hel.. " I was cut off.

"heh , you brat why did you not pick up your phone?? do you know how worried me and your dad were?? we thought you got kidnapped or something.yo " "honey let him speak first " my dad interrupted mom.

"OK, explain " mom said.

" I'm so so sorry mom and dad . It's just so much happened today and I got so nervous that I forgot to check my phone "

"what happened sweetie ?" my mom asked worriedly.

"so, ' explains everything ' that is all that happened "

" I'm fine mom a little nervous because of the earlier incident but I'm totally fine and yeah I still want to stay for the week. I have already booked the room for a week anyway and it'll be a waste of money to just come back " I replied.

" if that's what you want baby, just be careful and take care of your self , also try not to ignore our calls baby we were really worried " dad said.

"OK dad. Sorry for worrying you guys . goodnight " I said.

then suddenly a man ran pass me and went directly to the doctor who was still discussing something with the nurse.

it's quite late already. I should head back.

I booked a taxi for myself because like hell I would still try to walk back to the hotel. I cherish my life alot thank you very much.

I went down and waited for the taxi.

it came after like 10 mins .

I got on the taxi.

And thought about the things that happened today.

I would say that I'm still quite lucky I mean like what are odds of meeting your your life time idol. The circumstances were bad but I'm glad I alteast got to see her in real life. And she's so much more beautiful in life!!

" sir we have arrived " the driver said.

I paid for the ride, thank the driver and went inside the room.

After I reached my room, I took a shower and made myself some cup noodles, it's not that I can't cook I just don't feel like cooking ,and then

when to bed with the hope of a better tomorrow.
