In the Magic School of Paradox.......

Alex, John, Ciara and Katy were sitting in their class while the teacher was giving them a lecture on the types of mythical creatures.

Ciara was thinking about the kind of mission which will be given to them this week.

Last month, they had hunted down the Loch Ness monster and now they were studying about Dragons. 'Wow! A dragon! What would it feel like to see one in their lifetime.

Dragons are rare. Like really rare. One in one thousand years. The strongest of the mythical creatures. For a class of high school magicians, it was a big deal. No one has seen one in the entire school except for the Professor Shen.

Professor Shen was a Chinese warlock who had a lot of experience in witchcraft. He was an ideal for every student. Although being a warlock is very difficult. You have to study and memorize a lot of spells. Plus practice it on other people. Many people don't opt for being a warlock and go to study other fields of magic because you can't defend yourself properly in the time of crisis.

Imagine getting hit while you're trying to cast your spell.

That's a bad thing. A huge disadvantage.

But Prof.Shen wasn't a loser. He was so young looking and super fast. With just a flick of his finger, he could bind anyone. He was the strongest warlock.

Ciara always wanted to be a warlock and had been studying spells secretly. When the next examination commences, she'd choose the warlock category.

Now back to the lecture.

Ms.Anna was telling the class about a treasure hunt and how it would be helpful for them in their examination.

Ms.Anna was telling the students about the kind of mission, they had to face this time.

"Alright everyone. This month's mission is to see the Golden Dragon. Anyone who finds out about the whereabouts of it, will just inform the school and leave the rest of the procedure to us".

"Be mindful of your surroundings ok. You need to be successful in this mission because it plays a big role in the upgradation of your powers".

Everyone was super excited.

"Yahoo! We'll get to see the Grand Qilin". Said Melvin, the rich but annoying boy or in other words, Mr.Stuck up.

Melvin was already devising plans with his minions to be the first one to see the Qilin.

He loved making fun of the other school fellows. His only goal was to be successful. Either by hook or crook.

It was lunch time. Alex, Katy, Ciara and John were eating. Ciara told them to be careful on their way because it was a tricky mission.

"I think that this time, it's not simply about giving the whereabouts of the Great Dragon". Said Ciara.

"You're right, they're probably hiding something from us. Our seniors were issued the same mission but they all failed it". Said Alex. Katy and John just kept quiet because they were too tired from the rest of the classes and just nodded.

The next day.......

Early in the morning, the entire class was standing in front of the Red forest. The headmaster had specifically told them to reach there. Everyone was giving a team tag and divided into a team of four. The mission of the entire class was just to tell the whereabouts.

At the sound of the bugle, the entire class entered the Red forest.

Everyone was given a map beforehand just in case if they were lost. The map marked out the main, main areas and if anyone was to come in face to face with danger. They would be teleported at once.

Melvin and his 3 minions were eyeing everyone and thinking about who's more strong. "Let's take out the weak ones first and plant traps for them. Then we'll deal with the stronger ones". One of them said. "Good idea".
