Seeing him approaching, Devilaine gave Mikael a cool smile saying,

“Congratulations, you finally won against me.”

“You don’t seem happy.” He voice out.

Devilaine gave him a blank look and shrugged. “Why would I be happy? Losing to you is akin to getting my pride being trampled on. However, don’t be so cocky. This is not the end.”

“Not the end of you losing to me?” Mikael lightly chuckled.

It was a seductive laugh.

And Devilaine respond with a roll of her eyes before bidding farewell leaving the court with a straight back.

‘Mikael, you will stop being my rival once I defeated you!’

All this happened before summer. Devilaine was very grateful that after the match she won’t be able to see Mikael again for the time being. She might bit him to death just to waste his time.

She had no reason biting him its just that the man won't push her away.

He probably doesn't want to waste his time on her so he waste her time instead!

In the present day, she was currently face to face with her computer playing games called ALL OUT HERO. An MMORPG that is currently popular in the gaming world.

The tapping sound of the keyboard and the clicking of the mouse created a rhythmic sound in the room.

Devilaine had a serious face on. Her black long messy hair falls down on her shoulders. Bright light flashing reflecting from her specs.

“Devil, you in a bad mood? Your attack seem to be so aggressive today. It's good though since we cleared the area more quickly." A lazy voice sounded on her headphone.

"I need to level up. Being strong makes it easy."

"Oho? Is there another reason though? I can feel it in my skin!" The other girl spoke. A smirk lifted the corner of her lips.

"It's not always about him, Davreka. I'm doing this since I don't want to lose to others." Devillain responded back.

And that guy is probably playing this game too.

Summer is almost over and the next semester is drawing near.

Devilaine will probably see Mikael Daniels again and will probably remember her lost like it was yesterday.

However, she never regretted losing to that rival of hers.

They fought and he won without cheating.

He just stood there in front of the mall but everyone is looking at him.

"Hmm. What college are you going to?" Mikael Daniels asked the brown-haired man named Ezekiel.

"I'll go wherever you go!" Ezekiel laughs.

"I'm going to A University can you take it?" Mikael raises a brow. His lips tugging up.

"Don't worry, I'm smart enought to pass the entrance exam."

"Oh really? Looking forward to be your schoolmate, Ezekiel." He replied and tapped his shoulder.

"Dude....I think I just saw Devilaine! She's as pretty as before!" Ezekiel immediately fixes his hair, clothes and glasses.

Smacking his head, Mikael said, "Don't you dare."

There was a smile on Mikael's face but Ezekiel knew what kind of smile it was.

It was a threatening smile.

If he really made a move this guy would definitely kick him.

"Bro...why don't you go and court her. I mean who would not want you? You are Mikael Daniels, a total greek god in every girl's mind. Surely, Devilaine would find you attractive."

"Bro, don't you think that Devilaine is more hung up to me as a rival more than a lover? She's dead set on defeating me so of course I need to be as interesting as possible." Mikael said with a serious look. It was so serious that let Ezekiel speechless.

Devilaine and Mikael looks like a match made in heaven. They definitely looks good as a couple.
