The bright sun blazed through the window which fall on a fair skin.The cozy bed and the peaceful environment made her wanted to sleep more.The chirping sound of the birds were like lullaby to her ears.She opened her eyes a little and saw the empty space beside her.

"Alan! Where are you?" she shouted.When she got no reply she stood from her bed and went inside the bathroom to see and found nothing there.

Where does he go early in the morning? He was very excited yesterday.

"I'm here.Come down.I'm right here in the kitchen" a voice came from downstairs.She went down to see in the kitchen.

She smiled as she entered the kitchen and saw a person cooking there.She hugged him and said, "What is my little prince doing early in the morning?".The little boy who was around 6 years looked at his mother who was hugging him from back.

"I'm cooking for you,mommy" he said as he looked at her."Oh! What a pleasant surprise to see you cook for this lovely mommy" she said as she lifted him to the height of the stove while he was standing with the help of the chair.

"Of course I should cook today because Ms.Elina Mathews must be very tired from working all night and pretending to be asleep all day in the morning" he said as he raised an eyebrow at her.

"That...Hah...baby It's because...."her words were cut off by him,"Because you had an important work to finish right away so that we can go to your hometown earlier than expected,right?".

"Wow, My prince knows me the best" she said as she lifted him again and made him sit on the dining table."I know all of your little tricks so don't ever try to fool me" Alan said with a serious face and folded his hands.

"Yes sir" Elina stood straight and started to cook keeping away the burnt food that Alan has made till now.She made breakfast for them both nd had it before going upstairs to get freshen up.

After a while....

*Ringgg Ringgg* the calling bell rang while Alan was getting ready for the flight and Elina was working with her laptop.Elina went to the door and saw the person who was outside in monitor that was fitted on the wall.She unlocked the door and let that person in.

"So your really going there now" the person that was sitting in front of her in the couch asked Elina."I can't run away forever" Elina said as she kept working on her laptop.

"Aunt Laura, Are you not coming with us?"Alan who was coming down stairs dragging his luggage asked the person sitting with Elina.

It was Luara, Elina's best friend and also a famous fashion designer in their country.They were friend from childhood and were mostly together through thick and thin.Laura knows about Elina the most.

Laura went to little Alan and took his luggage as she said,"I have some incomplete work here.I'll come as soon as I finish them.So you both go first".

"Have you packed everything necessary? We may stay there longer" Elina asked looking at the luggage that he brought.

"I've packed more than necessary.I've also packed your belongings because I don't want you to forget to bring your pajamas or your laptop like last time" he looked at her helplessly.Laura giggled seeing them swapping their positions.

"So what if I forget them once I can buy them.

It is not necessary to pack so many things".

Elina tried to retaliate and prove him wrong but just like everytime she can't win against him and ended up admitting her mistakes.

"The flight is at 9:30 am right.There is still an hour before that so let's go to the ice cream parlor near the airport.It is said that they have the tastiest ice cream in the whole city".Laura said looking at the mother and son with sparkling eyes.

Elina and Alan both shook their heads at the same time looking at the kid before their eyes.They all went to the ice cream parlor as suggested by Laura and she sent off the mother and son duo at the airport.

Elina and Alan sat in their private jet and the flight has only 10 minutes to take off.More than fifteen guards were there.Elina usually won't bring these much guards if it is some normal business trip but since it is that place it's better to be well prepared.

The flight took off and after 6 hours of journey they reached their destination.Alan was sleeping peacefully in Elina's arms and she was lost in her thoughts.

So the time came.It's time for me to face the past.You have gone through worse Eli.This is nothing.

Elina took a deep breath and woke Alan up.

They both came down holding hands.Elina took her shades and put on it.Under the bright sun her fair skin shined and her curves was very perfect.Nobody can say that she gave birth to a child.She was wearing a V-neck full sleeve color slicing black skirt with black angle high heel while Alan was wearing a black suit with a purple diamond brooch which is a very rare diamond piece.They are only two of it's kind in the whole world.He loved that brooch so much that we wanted to wear that to see his mother's birth place.

They both came down the plane hand in hand.As they both came down a woman in her twenties came to her."Long time no see,Claire" Elina said as she saw the woman.

"Welcome back ma'am"Claire who was Elina's personal assistant back in her birth city came to pick her up.Claire looked at Alan and smiled to which Alan smiled back cutely.He mostly won't smile to strangers but when he saw his mother smiling at her he knew that she was important to her.

"Shall we?" Claire showed her hands to the exit of the airport.They went outside the airport and saw many reporters coming their way."Claire, take Alan and go to my secret villa first.I'll come after dealing with this" Elina said at she saw the people.She doesn't want anyone to know about Alan for the moment.

Even if his identity is revealed his photos should not be taken or released.She sent half of the guards with them and took the other half with her to control the crowd.

As bunch of reporters started coming and people started to gather the guards with her started to make way.The lights were flashing and the reporters started taking picture of her.Elina took off her shades.

'Miss Mathews,where were you these six years?'

'What exactly happened that day when your father died?'

'Are you going to take after the Mathews corporation?'

Many questions were arised from the reporters and paparazzi present there.Elina stood there and raised her hand at them signaling them to stop and let her speak.

"I know you all must be curious about what happened before six years and where have I gone missing but it is not the time to answer these questions.I'll arrange a press meet in a few days you can ask these questions on that day.Now please leave way".

As she said that the guards made way for her to walk and the reporters keep asking questions.Elina went to the black Lamborghini that was waiting for her.

"You guys go to the house of Mathews.I'll come later and nobody is allowed to follow me"Elina said as she took the key from the driver.

"But ma'am..." one of the guard came forward.

"I said go".Elina glared at the guard who was coming forward to stop her.The guard gulped and stepped back.She took the car and started to drive at full speed towards the mountain.

After an hour of driving she reached the place she wanted to visit for long.

It's been six years but this place is the same as usual.How beautiful!

She looked at the falls and looked at the huge tree that was near her and touched the carvings on it.Suddenly her smile disappeared and coldness filled her eyes.

Memories flashed in her mind.

"What are you doing there?" a girl who seemed to be in her middle school asked looked at the boy who was doing some thing on the tree."Everyone in the school said that if we carve our names in the tree we will be together forever" a boy who was in his teen said.He took his pocket knife and started to carve their names.

A smile bloomed on the face of that little girl but she hidded it and said,"Silly things.Why don't you act like a man?".

"I will when you stop giving me that straight face and start acting like a girl" he said and laughed at the position she was sitting."What? You don't like me anymore?" she asked him with an eyebrow raised though she know the answer very well.

The boy who carving till now took back his knife and came to his girlfriend who was showing her back to him and throwing pebbles in the water.He hugged her from the back and put his chin on her shoulder.It was little cold out there since they were in the forest and it was evening time too.He snuggled more and said, "I will love you and will never leave your side till death apart us".

The memories became started disappearing as she heard the sound of wolves from the top of the mountain.It won't come down and always stays in the top of the mountain.

She let out a huge sigh and sat under the tree. She spent an hour there to relax.It was her favorite place when she was still in that city.That place is out of city so it's mostly deserted and so she used to go there when she wanted to calm down.

She decided drive to the secret villa where Claire took Alan.She sent the guards to her family's house but no one lives there now.She didn't wanted to stay there after what happened so she decided to stay at her own villa which is only known to a few trusted persons.

She again got on the car and drove to her villa.Many thoughts were going on in her mind as she was driving.She slide down the window and the fresh air touched her face messing up her hair.Her blonde hair was flying in the air because of the strong wind.Her deep blue eyes were shinning brightly like the ocean and her pink lips were humming a song.

Will I meet him again?What will happen if we were to cross paths again? But It's not like we can avoid each other forever.Let the destiny which made us meet and seperate decide it again.

Elina parked her car and saw the huge building in front of her.It was magnificent and bright.It was like a castle that was being in the out skits of the city and near the mountain.It shined brightly under the full moon.She designed this mansion herself.

Every single things and small details were checked by her.She built this house for her son and she wanted it to be the best.

She parked her car and went to the main gate.She opened the huge door and entered in.She was welcomed by a lady in her early fifties.She was quite old but looked very young to her age.It was Elina's nanny who raised her from her childhood and her son too.Elina lost her mother at an young age and got motherly love from Nanny Park.She too left with her when she left this city but she came back before her to clean the mansion and to get things ready.

"Welcome home dear" Aunt Park said and caressed her hair.Elina smiled brightly at her.It is one of the rare smile she only show to her son, Laura and Nanny Park.She have shown this to quite some people before but after that incident it is rare for her to even smile not to mention smiling brightly.

"Where is Alan?" she asked getting suprised that he didn't come to welcome her.He would always come to welcome her no matter what he is doing or nust shouts from his place if he is doing some thing important but it was silent the whole time.

"I don't know why but since he came he has been in his room.He didn't come down and when I went to his room he just said that he was working on something" Nanny Park said.

"I'll go check on him then" she said as she looked at stairs.Nanny park nodded at her and went to the kitchen to make dinner for them.

Elina walked up the stairs and stopped at the first door and knocked on it."Baby, Are you inside?" she said and waited for the response but she didn't get any.

She opened the door and went inside.She looked at the mess that was created there.His laptop was opened and his clothes were thrown.Elina sighed seeing the mess.She heard some sound in the bathroom and realized that he was showering.She took his clothes and put them in the bin and closed his laptop keeping that aside.

She waited for him to come outside so she went to the balcony of his room.His room was painted in lavender which is his favorite color and everything there were simple but expensive.It was not like a kid's room at all.Connected to that room is his play room.All kind of games and his computers and many other gadgets were there.

After taking a little shower Alan came out wearing his pajamas.The second he came out he saw his mother and just ignored her.Elina was stunned.She can't tell why he ignored her.He was drying his hair with a towel but he couldn't do it properly with his small hands.Elina always helps him dry his hair and when she was not home Nanny park will help him.

He dropped the towel while drying and Elina took it.She held his hand and pulled him and made him sit on her lap.She placed the towel on his head and started to dry his hair.Alan didn't say anything or move.He let her do as she wants.After drying his hair she turned him around lightly and looked into his eyes smiling warmly at him.

Alan avoided her eye contact since he could not be angry if he fall for her pretty smile and puppy eye tricks but eventually Elina won as he smiled back at her.He sighed and snuggled in her arms.

"So, May I know what have I done to make his highness angry at me?" she asked as she saw him cuddling her like a panda.He didn't utter any words for a few seconds.

"Mommy why did we really come here in the first place?" his question left her speechless.

According to everyone close to her she was there to take over Mathews corporation.

"We have our own empire mom if you really wanted Mathews Corp you would have brought that instead of coming here.I know you wouldn't come here just to take over Mathews Corp.I don't want you to tell me the reason...I just hope that you would always be by my side" hearing these words Elina's eyes were getting wetted but she urged those tears back and said," Don't worry Alan, mommy will be fine.You know how strong I'm right"she said and made him lie on the bed.

"I love you mommy" Alan said and closed him eyes with his head being patted by Elina."I love you more my baby" she said one last time and kissed him on his forehead.

She covered him with the blanket and stood up to go to her room.When Nanny Park called them for dinner Elina said that they don't have an appetite.She went to her room and took out some strong wine.She poured some in a glass and took a sip looking at the full moon in the sky.The air was chill as it is nearly midnight.Alan's question was going on in her mind again and again.

What am I here for...

Asking herself the same question for a few times she gulped the wine in one go.After going on drinking for a few times she went to bed.Elina has high alcohol tolerance so she always drink strong wines.

The next morning was more peaceful than expected.Alan came to wake her up and his sweet voice woke Elina up the next second.

"Em...What is the time?Why are you waking me up this early?" she asked as her eyes and head hurt a little.

"Mommy it's 7.30 in the morning how can this be early to you" he said urging her to wake up.Now reality struck.Elina stood up from the bed and ran straight into the bathroom.This is what she will get for drinking too much strong wines.She won't get drunk even if she drinks strong wine but she will sleep longer than usual.She should have thought and today she has an important meeting too.After 20 minutes she came taking a hot shower.

The breakfast was ready by then.She was wearing a greyish green choker neck crop top and a black pencil skirt.Alan was waiting for her downstairs in the dining room.They both sat on their seat waiting for the breakfast.

Nanny Park cooked a light breakfast for them since Elina won't eat much if she has important works to do.After eating Elina got outside to go to her work.She gave Alan a good bye kiss and sat in her car.Alan who was smiling innocently till now gave a creepy smile.Nanny Park who noticed that smile sighed getting a bad feeling about that.

Elina's POV

Elina and her assistant Claire went to the construction site which was being done by her company.Not Mathews Corps but AL groups.The empire that she created with her sweat and blood which belongsto only her.It is much more bigger and more powerful than Mathews corporation.She announced that her arrival is to check on the site and to finish this project.

This project is a very important one including billions of investment joining hands with many multinational companies.This is what she said to the reporters and her employees.

She told that she will take over Mathews Corps too during this time period to the people close to her.

But Alan know that all of this is not the reason for her arrival.The only request that she refused to do for Alan in these 6 years is to come to her birth place and live in the mansion that she grew up.

She was looking at the site that the buildings are going to be constructed.Once the site is confirmed and the plans, profits, deals are checked they will sign the contract and will go back which will take more than a month.If she includes taking over her father's company than a few months will be required which is enough to deal with the thing that she is here for.The task that she didn't complete for a long period of time.It is time to close this deal.Though it is not going to be easy and even her life will be at risk this time and also the past in this place is not to be particularly pleasant.Anything cannot stop her this time.

Alan's POV

Alan went to his play room after sending off his mom.He turned on his computer and everyother computers around there got turned on as well.What can it be called...yeah, that's it, a hacker room.He is a hacker.

Born as a genius like his mother he was very interested in technologies.Elina started AL tech just for him.He is not an exceptional hacker like shown in some novels.He is a good one as he has a lot yet to learn and to experience.He is still young.

All his thoughts were on why his mom came here.What happened here that she didn't even wish to come here in a total of 6 years.

All of this has started before 6 years.When I was born and when grandpa died.What is the mystery behind his death? I tried searching a lot for that but the informations were totally destroyed and some small informations were highly protected too.It should be mommy who has done that.

Next one must be my father.She said they both got divorced 6 years ago.She said that it was a loveless marriage and so they seperated but I don't think it's the case.If it was really a forced marriage or loveless marriage, mommy would have cut his arms instead of letting him touch her.

So I have to find who my father is and my grandpa's death must be connected to him.

Maybe that was the reason they got seperated.But that father of mine must not be a good person too.

He tried to search about the informations about his brith.He was searching about himself.But it was very highly protected even more than the military weapon, mission informations.His mom sure loves him a lot.

He tried to go the other way and tried to search all the people who was close to him mom.As far as his mom said him she was an orphan but there must atleast be a single person she was close to here other than Laura.As he was searching he found a shocking information.He turned off all the computers and got ready to go out.

"What are planning to do this time?" Nanny park asked him getting nervous on what will happen when Elina returns.

"Aunt park I have found something important.It's very important and I should definitely go now".

"There are guards everywhere how can you go without letting you mother know.I'm sure you are not doing some thing that she would appreciate".

"Aunt please cover for me.I would be going by saying that I would go to the park that is near the outskit of the city with Adam"he said nonchalantly as he took his backpack with some of his gadgets and laptop.

"ADAM!!" he shouted at the top of his lung.

The next second a guy came in.Their most loyal guard that is more loyal to Alan than Elina.The only person who supports and helps Alan to escape, investigate and do some works is Adam.He owe Alan so much that he paying that back by betraying his master and helping the little master.Who knows what will happen to him when Elina comes to know of this.

"Let's go the park that is near the outskit of the city" he said and started to go as he got a nod from Adam.They informed the other guards.Since Alan don't like many people following him they didn't dare to follow them

"Where should I drive master?" Adam asked as he was driving with Alan on the seat beside him."We will go get the informations about my grandpa's death from the investigation bureau".

Adam glanced at Alan and gulped.He clearly knows what will happen to him when Elina finds about it.But he can't refuse what Alan said him to do.He did as he said and stopped at the bureau.

They both went and got the informations about that by bribing a officer there.Well it should be most clearly said as threatening.q

The informations stored in their data in computers were deleted and the hard copies were destroyed but a single copy with the officer who investigated this matter still had that copy which was got by Alan now.

It won't contain many informations but some that even he doesn't know will be there.

If the death really included my father than something about him will be in this file.Aunt Park would know about that but mommy will definitely come to know if I ask nanny so it's safe this way and some informations that even mom missed will be here.

He thought as he saw the file in his hand.He was sitting in the car with Adam.He asked Adam to stop the car at the park.He doesn't want to take risk by taking the file to his house.

Elina's POV

The sun was bright and very hot too.Elina was standing with her assistant Claire.They were looking at the site and was looking at the plans.Elina was analyzing it as she saw a figure walking near her.

She turned around to find a familiar face.It was one of her high school friends and also a business partner ,Vincent Cage.She grinned looking at him.They were really close in her school years and when she was still at that city.

"Long time no see buddy" said Elina as she gave him a side hug."An eternity!" he said as he break the hug and scanned her fully.She tilted her head and asked,"How is my sis in-law?"

"Is that the first thing you would ask me after not seeing each other for six years?" he said as he can't believe that she asked about his wife instead of him.

Elina chuckled seeing his reaction and said, "I know you would be good.What can happen to you.So tell me how is my sis in-law and my neice"

"They both are good but Racheal misses you a lot.She talks about you a lot to May and May seems to like you a lot too.She keeps pestering me to bring me to see you".

"I'll visit them when I have time during this week.This trip will last a bit longer than I thought so I may have some time" she said as she was not 100 percent sure about that.

Vincent sighed and said, "Okay.Inform me beforehand when you come to visit us.They will surely be delighted".

Elina nodded her head agreeing to him."So you are here for the project too right.Come,

let's go and see".

They both saw the site and the project.The place was satisfying to them and the budget was as expected.Since the project included billions of investment they should be careful about everything.One wrong step and their whole work would be in vain.

"I didn't came here only to see the works but also to invite you to grandma's birthday party.She would really be suprised to see you and will be happy too.It is my birthday present to her so please attend this one.I know you can't bring Alan to the party but visit her with him when you have time" he said as he gave the invitation card which he got from his assistant to her.

"Yeah I miss her too.I'll definitely come so don't worry.As for Alan,I'll bring him when the situation is good.I still can't let my guards down now".

"I can understand.Bye,be careful on whatever you are doing" he said as he bid his farewell to her.

Vincent is like a brother to her and his family is like a second family to her.Grandma is one of the person who truly cares for her and loves her.It was her mistake to make them badly worried about her but she had no choice other than to leave the country at that time.

Elina sighed and got on her car."To the company" she meant her own company.Al's branch office located at that country.

The day was really tiring.Elina who was in her office looked out from the big glass window.

She saw a small cafe a little far from her company's building.She still remember this place.She took her purse and phone and left the office.

She went down by the elevator and asked the body guards not to follow her.She went the cafe which she was looking at till now.

She ordered a cappuccino and waited for it.A lady in her early sixties brought her order.It was the owner of the shop as well.As the lady kept the order on her table she took a glance at Elina and turned around only then did she recognise this pretty girl.

She bloomed a big smile as she saw Elina.She showed her finger at her and said, "You...you are that little girl who would come to my cafe daily years back right.Your name is..." she continued and kept her hand at her forehead trying to remember.She was quite old for her age.She couldn't walk properly and speak but still worked.

"Elina" Eli said and saw the old lady with a small smile on her face."Ah I see.You have grown into a beautiful lady now.See you are still as pretty as always" she said and slightly caressed her hair.Elina stood and made the lady sit as she was speaking to her.

"It's been long since I saw you.How were you these years?" the lady asked with concern clearly shown in her voice.

"I've been great lately.How is your health?".

"It's as always.I still have little time in my hand and I'm doing the things I like in the mean time.Wait wait, you like my strawberry pumpkin pastry very much right I'll bring that to you" she said and hurriedly went to make her favorite pastry.

Elina smiled seeing the same person she saw years ago.She didn't change at all.Though her appearance changed her personality and care even for strangers didn't change at all.

Alan's POV

In the park where even a single fly is not seen around Alan looked at the file in his hand.He was actually a little nervous.His instincts keep telling him that there is something big in that file.

He was little hesitant on whether opening that or not too.It is forbidden to destroy files of cases but not only they destroyed that from computers they even destroyed that from their memories.Nobody had the dare to talk about the person who did that.It was like they simply had a conclusion about the murderer years ago but still didn't dare to reveal it.

Was it done by his mother or someother mysterious person.The Mathews family is one of the prestigious family in that country.Only a few can rival them both in wealth and power.Also when his grandpa looked after the family it was way more prosperous.

They had good relationship with the government too but the case of the murder of the previous head of the family was still not closed.The murderer is not found still and his mom didn't go deep in that too.

Is that because she really didn't care or she knew that the government can't do anything about that.But surely she knew many things and it can be the reason for her arrival too.Whatever it is, if it is dangerous to her life Alan would stop her or help her no matter what.
