This is my first chat type story. This story has been in the making in novel format, but I thought I'd try it with this one.
I'm not going to give you all the character bio information as I feel that will be released as the story goes. So for now I'll provide you with gorgues pictures of all the characters.
Note: This is a teen story with a very big Korean drama element to it
These are the main characters in which the story revolves around. Next comes the side characters that play important roles to the main leads story.
Hmm... Also a mystery. Although, coach could mean something 😜
To all the Asian readers. Yay! There is an all Asian cast. Be mindful that I have set this in Korea but have never actually been, so I'm going based off my imagination and possible research.

Pride and joy

Tomorrow I'm starting my day at a new school.
I'm not sure how to feel about it. It's not like I had any friends at my other school. Nor was the other school anything special.Just... It would be nice if this had been my decision.
There are many things I wish were my decision- Many things I've always wanted to-
Maybe this school will surprise me? Please surprise me!

Kim places the pen down on the table and shuts her diary. Hopping from her chair she makes her way to her bed and lifts up the mattresses before sliding it as deep as it allows.
Hae-Su Kim
(I can't have her finding it)
Turning off the night-light next to her bed, she jump leaps onto her bed and tucks herself in.
Hae-Su Kim
(I can't seem to sleep)
It takes a lot fo shuffling and 20 minutes later she asleep.
Hyeorin(Kim mother)
I want you to come straight home after class.
Kim bites the inside of her cheek and nods.
Hae-Su Kim
I could have gone by myself, you didn't have to accompany me.
They both sit inside the families personal limo as they head to Yonsei University.
Hae-Su Kim
(My new permanent school)
Her mom's gaze falls on her face. A frown forms on her lips before she reaches out and straightens her collar.
Hae-Su Kim
(How could you not notice that Kim Hae-Su? You should be better.)
Hae-Su Kim
(Next time I'll be sure to check my appearance properly)
Hae-Su Kim
(My nerves are just all over the place today)
Hyeorin(Kim mother)
Nonsense.
Hyeorin(Kim mother)
It is only natural that I come along
Hae-Su Kim
(To make sure I make no mistakes)
A sudden sickness emerges in your stomach. You resort to staring out the window for the rest of the way.
Hae-Su Kim
(Since my little time I have been in Seodaemun, I have seen so much nature compared to Gangnam)
Hae-Su Kim
(Well that's something I love already!)
Hae-Su Kim
(According to my mom, Yonsei University is suppose to be one of the most prestigious schools in this suburb)
This is also the reason she has transferred Kim when they first announced the extension of a high school being added to the university.
It didn't matter that she was only through half of the year at her other school.
Hae-Su Kim
(Not that it mattered...)
He was the family's personal driver and was a loyal worker of 15 years.
Her mother waits for Kim to approach her door and open it before she gets out. Kim is already out of the car and amazed by the greenery.
Bush hedges align on either side of the long road that leads to the school- It's own space at the back of the university. Light purple flowers littered the trees that were spread around the rest of the free space .
She feels her mother tap her shoulder and she snaps out of her daze as they enter into the school. They come to a hallway.
Her mother comes to a stop and so does she.
Hae-Su Kim
What's she looking at?
Kim looks up to find a signboard posted to one of the walls. On it it displays the names of students and thier overall ranking in the school for anyone to read.
Hae-Su Kim
(A bit much if you ask me)
Hyeorin(Kim mother)
Soon the number one place will be you
Her voice is confident and she says it like her words are the law.
You take note of the name posted to the number one place.
Hae-Su Kim
(Han Park? I'll have to mentally keep a note of that)
Hyeorin(Kim mother)
Your father and halmoni are also counting on you.
Hae-Su Kim
(Don't stare at me like that)
The same chocolate brown eyes are looking at her in the eyes awaiting an answer.
Hae-Su Kim
(This is the part I always despise and a deep part of me can't help but hate her a little)
She attempts to sound confident.
Hae-Su Kim
I won't let you down
She gives her a beaming smile, her eyes twinkling as she lays a hand on her cheek.
Hyeorin(Kim mother)
You know you're my pride and joy, right?
Hae-Su Kim
Of course I know
She pats her cheek in response before continuing thier journey. She drops me off at the classroom and Kim already notices some students laughing in her direction from within the classroom.
Her mother heads off to the principles office to make her greetings.
NOTE: Halmoni is the Korean word for grandma

We have a new student who transferred today

Mind introducing yourself?
Hae-Su Kim
Hi, I'm Kim Hae-Su
She keeps her head lowered and doesn't meet anyone's eyes.
teacher
Anything else? Maybe a bit more information.
Hae-Su Kim
I moved here from Gangnam.
teacher
Take a seat towards the back of the room. Right next to Joon Park.
You lift your head to where he is pointing before making your way to it.
Hae-Su Kim
(He's sleeping?)
girl
She thinks she can pin after him
girl 2
Yeah. How discusting.
Kim realizes she's been staring at this boy and has yet to take a seat on her chair.
She quickly does so, while breaking out of her trance.
teacher
I will be ducking out for a while, so I trust you can continue the formulas on the board in my abscenece.
The class answered in a chorus of voices, while Kim chose to keep writing notes.
From the corner of your eye you pick up movement. Without meaning to, your already looking in the boys direction.
Hae-Su Kim
(He's waking up)
The boy stirs before lifting his head and meeting your widened gaze.
There is silence as they both take each other in.
Joon Park
You weren't here this morning.
Joon Park
Hmm... That's why then.
His eyes scan the classroom.
Hae-Su Kim
(His voice comes off harsh but for some reason, there is a softness to it)
Joon Park
Is the teacher not here?
Hae-Su Kim
He went out and left us to continue the math problem.
A conniving smile takes form while his eyes gleam.
Joon Park
So I'm about to do a disappearing act. If the teacher asks, I've ducked out to do my business.
Joon Park
I'm the teacher, okay.
Joon Park
Hey, where is Joon?
Joon Park
Sir, he told me he's ducking out to the toilets. He'll be back soon.
He puts on an extra sweet voice as he imitates Kim.
Joon Park
I'm the teacher again.
Hae-Su Kim
I know what you mean now.
He doesn't wait for her to reply before hes risen from his chair
He slips his one shoulder bag around his waste before opening the window nearest to him
Hae-Su Kim
(What's he doing?)
Hae-Su Kim
You do know this is the second floor, right?
He says over his shoulder.
Joon Park
Remember what I told you.
Kim nods when he looks back for confirmation, her lips tight
Then he squeezes through the window and jumps down.
Author note: In Japan and Korean culture especially, they always introduce last names first, followed with thier first after. I've chosen not to do this for my story- it may confuse readers who don't know this.
