Unlike what my name means (flower in Japanese) mom always pointed out to me being more of a black tulip than a flower

I woke up at the morning

Just great another day of hell

I thought to myself as I walked to the mirror

"I look like shit" I murmured brushing my hair away from my face I really should cut it its growing so tall and that's annoying

After finishing my morning routines I sat down at the dinning room to eat breakfast with my mom and annoying brother

"well, well look who decided to join us today"

Said Charlie clearly pissed as I shot him with a cold glare

"Charlie!" my mom said as he just hissed

I stood up immediately and went to pack my stuff

"hana where are you going" said my mom with a worried expression

"school obviously"

"but you haven't even touched your food"

"not hungry" I said and left quietly I could feel my brother's glare as I closed the door

I thought to myself walking down the road

After all that's how I'm living

I suddenly felt two pair of hands surround my waist and I definitely didn't need to look to know who it was

"shhh" she shhh'ed me and continued saying "just enjoy it while it last"

I could feel her smile as I giggled and that just made her laugh

April is my one and only friend

We where friends since forever and she is the only honest person I know and I mean it

She knows all the shit I've been through and I know hers maybe that's why she is the only person who can actually handle me....

Anyways we continued walking towards school silently and I can feel that something happened to her

Maybe her parents fought again....

Once the school was on sight april started to slow down and I looked at her in confusion

"huh? What's wrong"

"um... Do you think we should skip school today"

She said as I almost choked on air from what she said
