In the small town called junxie.  Year 202x. At a high school.

* The characters are speaking Chinese. “ hey fei are you busy after school today\,” I asked her scared out of my mind. Then she answered me. “No I am not busy Xinyi and you are still the same scaredy-cat you were before and I heard a new cafe opened up\,” she told me. And the new cafe is owned by my twin sister Hua who had already graduated from university last year at a young age of 13. What a genius she is and our older brother is in his first year of high school and there is one secret nobody knows we are not related by blood at all. “Sure fei I will come to the cafe with you but my twin sister owns that cafe you remember her she just moved back here this weekend\,” I said.  Then school was finally over and I took Fei’s hand and ran over to the train station as we usually do every day for the last 6 years.  Then we finally reached the train station and we both boarded the train heading over to my house.  A hour later at the ling family house which haves a cafe inside of it which the public can enter at any time.  And my friend fei lived in one of the rooms in the manor.  “Hua are you here\,” I said looking for her.   “こんにちは、今日の学校の様子は妹です。待っています hello Xinyi how was school today\,” hua said speaking in both Chinese and Japanese.  “Sister why are you speaking Japanese again and didn’t you open up a new cafe earlier today\,” I answered her. Then Sakurai entered the room.  “ big brother you are home\,” both of us said.

“Let meet some rest the lesson was so tiring today Mr *** online computer class was the only thing that made me not bored of it\,” he said. Then both me and fei headed down to the cafe. And how did he have a teacher remote from a different country? Well never mind about that.   Oh my name is ling Xinyi and I am a last year jr high student born on May 4th 200x and a second younger than hua. “Miss ling your tea is here\,” Mr. Ron said as he gave me some tea. Then fei sat down next to me and we ordered a ice cream float.  “Where is your ice cream float fei\,” I asked her. “Okay sorry I lied I had only ordered it for you even if you’re older than me you will always be shorter than me  Xinyi\,” she said in a kind matter of factly.  “Stop saying I am short I will be taller than you just wait fei\,” I said embarrassed as I ran to my room. The next day. Time 6:00 am “yikes I am going to be late why didn’t anyone wake me up? The train leaves at 6:30 so fei are you awake\,” I said in a rushed matter.  Then I saw fei all ready to go and in her uniform. “Xinyi you are ready it is already 6:05 let’s get a move on\,” she said as she grabbed a piece of bread and grabbed my hand and rushed both of us out the door.  And yes it is only winter and today is the 2nd day back since winter break but the cherry blossoms bloom all year long so it is impossible to tell when spring is coming now isn’t it. We then reached the train station and boarded the train. I then sat in my usual spot on the train and fei started to speak to me. “Hey Xinyi did you study at all last night\,” she asked me. “Wait study no after I went to my room I fell asleep right away huh I forgot to study for the test today can you help me study before we get to class\,” I asked her.  “Okay I will help you study\,” she answered me.  An hour later. We had reached the train station a five minutes walk from the school. We then entered the school and went straight to our classroom.  And we sat down waiting for class to start. “Hey fei where were you yesterday you were supposed to clean the classroom by licking it\,” a bully said? This girl is Mizushima tomoe one of my friends and always pulls pranks on us. “Hey can we study in peace\,”fei said. Chapter one ends.

  Chapter 2.  The first kiss.  During the 2nd period. Class doesn’t seem boring and my brother says my entrance exams are in two months. Then Tomoe passed me a note. “Sorry about that it was a prank,” she had written in a letter. And her Chinese is too good for someone who only lived here for a few months. Yes, she moved here from the island nation a few months ago but both I and fei knew her for years but she always pulls pranks on me. “Miss Mizushima you are in the wrong class,” the teacher said.  And she is in her 6th-year of elementary school and is older than fei by 2 months. Her birthday is October 19th and Fei’s is December 31st. I then looked at Fei and she was sitting there as no one was there.  “Hey, fei class is over want to head to the elementary school section with me,” I asked her.  “Sure I will be right there,” she said.  We then walked over to the 6th-grade classroom and we are 3rd years only she is the smartest student in the school.  And she is 159 cm while I am 151 cm. Why is God so cruel to me?  “Hello Xinyi senpai,” tomoe said. “Hey, why isn't senpai a Japanese term you should call me a senior student since I am in an older grade than you,” I answered her.  Then the teacher miss su wanted to talk with both of us. “So is it about our plans after middle school miss su,” Fei asked.   “Yes what school were you planning on going to you two,” she said.  Then fei said that she was going to japan in the new school year. Wait she is moving there why. After school was over I asked her why she was moving and she didn't respond at all, only a kiss on the lips. “Why did you kiss me,” I asked her. “Because I love you Xinyi so please go out with me,” she said as we continued to kiss.  And we were back at the cafe at that point in our spot kissing.  That evening in my room I noticed tomoe on my bed. “Nee-san you are back,” she said while inside of my bed under the covers. “Tomoe chan what are you doing in my bed,” I asked her.  “Because your bed smells just like you need san,” she said.  I was completely embarrassed and told her to leave. So she left and went to her room. I then fell asleep. Then I had a strange dream or a flashback of a strange girl.  “Do you still trust me, big sister,” the girl in my dream said? “No, and you are my older cousin so you are a big sister to me,” I in the dream said. I really liked her back then but what was her name and before I can remember what her name is the dream ends. The next morning. I was wide awake but today wasn't a school day or we asked the teacher if we can study at home for a few weeks while Fei does important things.  Then hua entered my room. “We got a letter from father. “Hello, my daughters hope you are okay and please forgive both of us. My meeting has been pushed back to a different date so sorry and here is the money for this month,” the letter said.  I then walked into the garden and a little girl was sitting next to the flowers me and my cousin planted 6 years ago.  Then the girl ran up to me. “Big sister. It has been forever, please protect me,” she said. Oh, now I remember this is my cousin Sakura and she hasn't grown in 6 years and she is only 140 cm pretty short other than me who hates being called small. “Are you really sakura my cousin from japan who moved to America six years ago,” I said. “You remember my name big sister,” she said. She always likes this and we made a promise six years ago but I don't remember it “...,” and before I could even say a word she kissed me. “Sakura stopped kissing my younger sister,” Hua said, lifting her and carrying her inside. “Let go of me now,” she said but no one heard her and I headed inside as well.  “Oh hello onii chan it's been a while please love me,” she said in front of sakurai face.   “Sakura, why aren't you older than me by a month and I am not related to you remember,” he said, then leaving for school. “Sakura, you got tons of explaining to do, like why you kissed my sister,”hua said.  “Because I love her does that matter at all,” she said. “No it doesn't and good night,” she said as hua was saying it was nightfall already. “Let’s get some sleep sakura,” I said, then drifting off to sleep. Chapter 2 ends.

Chapter 3 the new students.

The next day at school. “Okay class we have a new transfer student please welcome her,” the teacher said. Then sakura entered the classroom. After class was over. “Wow she is so tiny I wonder why she stopped growing,” a male classmate said. “ big sister over here,” Sakura said, running up to me. Then that male student told Sakura that they will be exams in 2 days and she should study for it but little does he know Sakura has an IQ of 200. “Then how about we head to the rooftop and eat our lunch there oh then how about the eating hall,” I said directly to Sakura and the male student since fei would not be in class for the next few weeks. We then reached the eating hall and tons of people were gathering inside. “Sakura do you know how it works here in this country,” I said. “ No, is it the same as the USA or the other place,” she asked me. “It is kind of the same as the Japanese school thing I don't remember since I wasn’t raised there and was only born there so what do you want then,” I asked her. “I want some udon noodles okay,” Sakura said with a smile on her face. Then the male student walked over and ordered our meal for us. “Here you go with your meat udon and plain udon noodles,” the male student said. “Thanks, y/n for our meal you can go now,” I replied to him. He then left the area and we never saw him again. “Hey Xinyi can we eat now,” she asked me. “Sure you can eat,” I said responding to sakura. “Thanks for the food,” she said, digging into the noodles. After lunch in the classroom. The class was the history of a foreign country course and I don't know why this even exists. “Okay can some tell me what year this country was made into a nation,” the history teacher said. “1876,” one of the students said. Then sakura raised her hand. “The question is 18xx is that correct,” she responded to the teacher. ( The foreign country is Canada and the year 18xx is 1867 years are not revealed in this story.) “Yes that is the right answer now about the yin and yang formation, what year was that created,” the history teacher said, moving on to the next topic. Then sakura spoke again. “It was made in the 3rd century BCE,” she said, explaining everything about the history of the yin and yang. How does she know so much about Chinese history oh right some of that history is known in her home country. After class, the whole class was praising her for her hard work and stuff and even asked her if she ever studied before. “ no I never once studied before but can someone help me with this? Since I was living in America for 6 years I forgot how to write Chinese a little bit, she said telling the truth. Then one of the students asked her if she has seen the new movie called Sùdù yǔ jīqíng 9. “Ah no I never heard of it before,” she said. We then left back to the club room. “This is the first time I've been here,” Sakura said with a scared look on her face. “Oh right it is sorry about that sakura but can you please sit down cause the other club members are now in here so, please stay out of my way,” I asked her nicely. She obeyed me and sat down in the small chair. “Who is that little girl,” one of the club members said staring at sakura with a weird look. “Don't look at her, she is our model for the art club,” I said. The club members have then gotten out their art supplies and begun to paint sakura since she was our model. A few hours later we finally completed the painting so both of us were now on the train heading back to our house. “Xinyi do you think the painting will be a beautiful one,” sakura said sleep talking and was already asleep on my lap since she fell asleep back at the school a half-hour ago. We then made it back and I carried sakura to her bed so she could sleep soundly. “Sakura do you think the painting is beautiful?” I whispered into her ear. The next day inside of the manor and today was Sunday meaning we had our day off today and fei wanted me for something important so I went outside and there she was with flowers in her hands. She then ran up to me and asked me to date her. I immediately refused her and continued on my day. This is going to be a weird day now, isn’t it? I then went to the library of the town and began to study for a big test which was my entrance exams in 2 months from now.

. I better start studying now or else I will fail my high school entrance exam and I would have to repeat middle school 3rd year. Then I noticed someone reading a book. Who is that and why are they reading a book in that weird spot. I then walked over to them and I was suddenly grabbed and a cloth was placed in my mouth and I immediately passed out. Several hours later in an unknown warehouse. “You got the girl didn’t you,” one of the kidnappers said. “Don't worry we will sell this girl to one of our friends from the island nation and she cost tons of money remember we sell human meat so have her dead in the next 2 hours got it,” the other kidnapper said. After the kidnapper left the first one was preparing to cook me when I noticed a small girl releasing me from the chains. “It is too early for you sister Xinyi,” she said. * a kind way to greet someone older than you in Asian countries. “Thanks for saving me wait are you the boss of this place I asked her with a worried look on my face. Then 2 hours had passed and the other kidnaper returned and was mad that I was still breathing then the small girl kicked the guy’s leg chapter end.
