My throat hurts. I can feel my feet getting hot. I feel like I’m yelling for someone but at this point I can barely hear my own screams. I crawled to the nearest door I could find, but that’s when I made the biggest mistake of my life. I could finally hear again. I see this sihoette of a women. I yelled “help me please. I NEED YOUR HELP! PLEASE HELP ME!” The women whispered “I want you to be next jus like your bitchy mother.” She smiled and kicked me back into the room. As I realized I that I was left by myself I swear and beg to god to give me another chance but I soon blacked out. I thought I was dead. I couldn’t see my mother my brother or even my ungrateful father. I dont want to die. I don’t want to die like this. I still have to live to have kids and see my kids have kids. So please don’t take my life. I soon jumped up and the covers flew off of my body. I felt my face. “It feels fine.” I whispered to my self. I got up and ran to the mirror to look at my body. “I-I-I’m back to my orginal state?” I said out loud my maid came in and asked if I was okay. I turned around and shock to see the person infront of me. “Suzan!” I yelled and ran towards her with tears in my eyes. She said “Young lady are you okay?” I nod my head yes and walked out my room. As I was walking down the hall I feel a push from behinds and saw two arms wrapped around my waist. I turned around and realized it was my little brother James. “Good morning big sister Starr.” I was always cold to James because his mom threw her self at my dad while he was drunk and got pregnant. My mom was kicked out of the family because of this wicked step mother of mines. But my ungrateful father don’t care about anything but his business his work and money everything else don’t matter including his kid. I turned around and picked James up “Good morning younger brother James.” I could see the shock and his eyes but the happiness in his face. He is so warm. It was actually very nice to hug somebody I haven’t had one of these in a while. I hugged him for a few more minutes before letting him go. I grabbed his hand and me and him walked down the stairs. Soon as me and James reached the bottoms of the stairs I hear my name being called. “Starr what the hell are you planning to do with my damn son!” I looked to the left and wasn’t shocked. It was the wicked bitch of the the south. The evil step mother her self. She walks towards me and raises her hand as if she is about to slap me.
