Lynn woke up late that day and she blamed it on her phone for not blasting its alarm. She had only about 15 minutes to get ready and assist her boss for an important meeting with some Asian Bank about some research funds. "Good morning, Lynn. Glad you finally decided to show up," said Marge without even looking up from her laptop. Marge was busy editing her presentation for her research grant in a few minutes.

"I am sorry, Marge for arriving on time."

"Owh, fine. I don't have time to handle your behavior today. Now, can you get me coffee and some snacks, then continue preparing my presentation?!"

Lynn just nodded since she understood that arguing with Marge especially now is not a good thing and she needed to keep her job. So, she directly went outside to get her coffee and some cookies.

"Good morning, I am Sanjay Kapoor. I worked for Asian Development Bank. I believe I did not see you yesterday. Are you one of the professors?" A man greeted Lynn while she was queuing for coffee.

It had been 4 hours since the grant presentation and interview begun and Lynn's stomach started to growl. She had skipped breakfast and it was now lunch time but she knew best not to leave her post since Marge might need her anytime she wanted. But then, the conference doors were open and Sanjay walked out of the room talking seriously with Marge. Lynn stood up from her chair and waited for Marge while her stomach was growling. Then Sanjay took a glimpse of her and he walked toward her, "Let's eat. Professor Bailey, I hope you don't mind me borrowing your assistant to accompany me for lunch. We can discuss your grant tomorrow morning." Sanjay spoke with an authority tone that startled Lynn. He grabbed Lynn's waist and ushered her to the elevator without even waiting for Marge to say yes.

"I am sorry Mr. Kapoor. I need to assist Mar... Professor Bailey first. I will join you once I am done."

"Do not worry, Lynn. She does not need your help for today. I hope you do not mind coming with me. I know a good place for us to have lunch since I believe you have the rest of the day off. And please call me Jay."
