"What are you doing here? I told you I don't like you, so stop following me around...kid." He rolled his eyes and walked passed me, slightly bumped my shoulder.

I was just looking at the ground, trying to hide the tears that are starting to form in my eyes. I am still holding the box of cookies that he threw in the trashbin earlier.

"Hey, Lei are you okay? What did that douchebag did to you again?" I immediately looked at the person whose still panting beside me. My bestfriend Mia is looking at me with so much concern in her eyes.

Seeing those worried look, I can't help but to burst in tears and hugged her tightly. She silently returned that hug and gently pat my back.

"Shh...it's okay, I told you there are still a lot of boys that are more worth it with your love and effort, just...just give up on reaching that Light." She said, still patting my back.

"But I love him, the first time I laid my eyes on him I know that I will love him this much. If I could just dictate my heart to love someone else I would do it...you know how much I tried." Remebering how he cruelly throw the cookies I made overnight earlier just made me weep again.

Mia just sighed and looked at me with that defeated look.

"Lei, we're just 17, we are still in highschool. The best thing we could do in these years is to enjoy our life. Everything will fall in place at the right time. If Light is really for you, there will be a perfect time for that. Let's not rush things." She explained again, it seems that she is very frustrated with me right now.

Realizing what she is saying, I just nodded at her. She sighed again and help me stand straight. She just gave the destroyed cookies to the stray dogs we walked passed on the sidewalk. Then throw the box in the near garbage can. We walked in a near bench in the park and made me sit there.

"Just sit there first okay, don't you dare run away or something cause you're so harf to find." Still with tears in my eyes, I can't help but to chuckle when she glared at me and pointed her fingers in her eyes then into mine.

I just looked at her jogged at a nearby store to buy something, I don't know what it is.

I just sit there, looking at the children paying in the playground. I got fond watching a little boy who is widely smiling while pushing the swing ridden by a little girl who is also cheekily smiling. They are so cute. I was so immersed looking at them that I didn't notice a little boy whose been beside me.

He was just silently looking at me, I smiled at him and he returned that smile. He is holding a white handkerchief and a bar of chocolate.

He offered it to me and I gladly take it. I smiled again to him and he just nod. His face is familiar and that aura of him reminds me of someone I can't remember.

"Sorry, please don't cry", he suddenly said. I knotted my forehead and looked at him, he still has that poker face and even before those words would register in my head he immediately run away. I was so stunned that I haven't had the chance to chase him to even give my thanks or to return his hanky.

I can now see Mia walking towards me that I just shrugged it off what the little boy said earlier, maybe that was not for me, but I'm the only person near him.

"Hear drink some water first to calm you down,wait...did you just bought a hanky and a chocolate while I'm not here? I told you to stay aren't I?" She was nagging like a mom again.

"No, I was just here all the time. A little boy gave it to me." Thinking about that familiar face of the little boy make me smile again.

"Wow, that boy must've been so annoyed by your ugly face that he give you a hanky to cover that" She then laughed, I just snorted and rolled my eyes at her, she really has a way to bully me sometimes.

She handed me the ice cream she bought along the water and we just ate there while talking about things.

Looking at her smiling face, I am really thankful to have a very supportive and caring bestfriend. I know Mia has her own problems too with her family but she is so strong and just hide all the pain inside. Sometimes I just want to cry for her.

We finished eating the ice cream when she stand up.

"Come' on lets go home, I'll have a sleepover in your house later. I miss the dishes cook by Nana Sena." She said and then grabbed my hand that made me stand up too.

"Mia..." I gently said while I clasped my hand with hers. She looked at me and knotted her forehead.

"Thank you" I said, now teary-eyed again. She smiled and patted my head.

"Uwuuu...my Lei is so mushy right now, you know I will always be with you right?" I nodded and hugged her in her belly.

"You and Nana Sena are my family, my own is slowly breaking right now and I am only holding unto you and Nana Sena so please, don't leave me okay?" She said, I can hear her faint sobs that made my tears to fall again.

My mom and dad died when I was 7, I only have my grandmother with me Nana Sena. The day of my parents burial I met Mia, the little girl I've give my extra hanky that time when I ran into the park to cry my heart out because of my parents' death. She was also crying that time because her mom and dad are always fighting. I brought her with into our house and Nana let her eat there. Since then we became best of friends and is always inseparable.

"Come on let's go home" She smiled and dragged me to walked in our house. It was just blocks aways from the park so we usually just enjoy walking.

We walked passed by the convenience store where Mia bought the goods earlier, I was about to get inside to buy some chips and stuffs for our sleepover.

I was pushing the glass door when I stopped in my tracks after seeing those piercing eyes who seems to be looking at the girl beside him.

Leandro Knight Everitt or Light is sitting at one of the high stool in the store. Beside is a beautiful girl whose babbling something to him. He seems to be so bored.

I haven't notice I was still holding the door and looking at him when Mia, whose so oblivious to the things around her and so busy with her phone, slightly pushed me to enter to the store.

But before I glanced away to him, his eyes suddenly meet mine. I am not sure but I faintly saw some recognition in his eyes and somewhat sadness but it immediately turned into cold piercing look again.

Feeling the pain again, I just retreated and drag Mia away from the store.

"What are you doing? You said we'll buy some stuffs for later?" She innocently asked. I just shrugged and smiled faintly at her.

"Let's just buy at the other store near in our house, I think the one I need wad not there." I said silently prayibg she would buy my excuse.

I just sighed in relief when she nodded and turn her attention again in her phone.

I looker again at the store and was stunned when I saw Light is looking directly at me. I just turned away and was so eager to drag Mia to our home.

My heart is beating so fast just because of him looking at me.

I just sighed again, thinking how deep fallen I am to him.

How deeply fallen I am to Light.

"What are you up to again?" Mia asked early in the morning when she saw all so busy finding a dress in my closet.

I didn't answered her but instead showed her some dresses.

"Which do you think fits me better?" I asked, never minding those narrowed eyes that has been watching me. Judging by her looks, I know she already have an idea as to why I am doing this.

"Its Light again? What is this, this time again Lei?" By the tone of her voice she is now so annoyed. Instead of standing up and do her morning routines, she just grunted and laid again in MY bed.

"The official fan page of The Band Rocks posted in twitter last night that the boys will be playing in the school festival later. I just want to look good and support him okay...I will not do anything silly." I defensively said when she suddenly got up and had those glares at me, like giving me some warning look.

"You just cried yesterday because of him, and now you're back chasing him again? You really haven't learned arghhh!" I chuckled when I saw her ruin her all messed up hair and grunted again.

" You know it's not as easy as 123. I can't move on and forget my love for him in just a snap. Let's take it slowly okay? I will just support him later, and also the whole band. You know Jiro is my cousin and the rest of the boys has been my friends for years too. We have almost the same circle of friends that just make it hard to totally avoid and forget him." I explained to her.

I already promised myself to step back if it is really not for me. If he is really not for me, but for now, I will just feed my heart with some little joys just by supporting him from afar.

"I don't know, I don't want to talk about this cause It will just give me headaches. Do whatever you want, just come back to me if it really hurts so much. I'm tired advicing and all." She rolled her eyes and finally got up to bed and went to the comfort room.

"Love you best!" I just shouted and laughed when she answered me with a the gargle of water.

After a few minutes of waiting for her to get ready for school. She just borrowes some jeans and shirt from, since she's not the girly type of girl. We go downstairs and enter the kitchen, seeing Nana Sena get ready with the plates and utensils.

"Good morning my lovely ladies, it's just time for breakfast, come on sit down, let's eat." We kissed Nana in her cheeks and happily sat in the chair. Nana is in the other side while I'm on the other with Mia beside me.

"It's your school festival right?" Nana asked, we just added as our attention is so focused on the food we're eating.

..."Enjoy it okay? And Lei..." She looked at me with a narrowed eye "behave" she continued. Mia just laughed and I just snorted....

"I'm always good Nana" I explained. I can't help but just to pout.

"I know your so into that son of Cheska...what's his name again Leandro?" She said while eating.

" Just call him Light Nana" I said and she just made a face. My Nana is really cute sometimes, she can always vibe with us, that's why my classmates loves her very much too.

We finished eating and helped Nana with some things in the house then we're off to go.

"Bye Nana take care here okay? Your medicine is in the side table in your room don't forget to take it okay? We will go buy some groceries, maybe on Sunday but we still have some stocks there so don't let yourself starve." I said while checking my things inside my bag if its complete. Nana just laughed and gestured us to the door.

"Okay, Lei...the two of you must take care there too, just enjoy and don't do silly things." She once again reminded us.

"Bye Nana" Mia said then we got inside her car. Mia is actually rich.Her dad is a businessman and her mom is a dermatologist. It's just that Mia preferred to stay here in our house because aside from her parents are always out of town, they just fight with each other when they happen to come back home. They also forget to give some affection to Mia and just give her things she needed.

We just enjoyed the morning ride eith some taylor swift list of songs that we both love.

It took us just a 15 minute drive when we arrived at the University. Its just 10 o'clock inthe morning the the students are already so hyped up. There are a lot of stalls and the loud bang of musics can be heard.

We immediately get out of the car and happily walked to the crowed.

"Hey there lovelies!" Someone shouted and suddenly hugged us from the back. When we turned, we saw the cheeky smile of Ryan...our gay friend.

"Ry!!!" Mia and I both screamed and hugged him tightly,we are even jumping like 5 year-old girl while hugging him.

"Okay ladies, calm down your asses right there, it's just three-month vacation in Hawaii. Your hugs are like I've been out of your sight for a decade." He even raised a brow at us.

"We just miss you Ry and..." I moved my brows up and down as if letting him know something.

He laughed and pointed his hands in the parking lot.

"I know what is it, its in my car" Both Mia and I giggled.

"So...how is your operation Reaching Light going Lei?" He suddenly asker and looked at me with narrowed eyes.

"You know its never been Ry, our Lei here just always cry because of him" Mia immediately said and even snorted. She then excused herself to go to the comfort room.

Ryan just smiled.This gay is really handsome...that's why many girls are also chasing after him. They just don't know he is gay and has the same preference with us.

"It's okay love, you will reach him soon, just don't lose hope okay? but if its really not him for you, I'm still here" He said while holding my hand and pulled me towards him for a hug.

I raised a brow at him " You?"

He laughed again " I mean I will find some other hot papi for you" He tightened his hug at me.

I also laughed and hugged him too.

"Can't you just step aside, your in the middle of the hallway, find some other place to hug each other or better yet you get a room" A cold and annoyed voice suddenly boomed that madely me slightly jumped away from Ryan's embrace.

I immediately turned to looke at him and met his piercing eyes. His aura is so dark right now that I just want to hide behind Ryan.

They just looked at each other or what can we say glared with each other for seconds when I immediately tugged Ryan's sweater. I can't handle Light's stare anymore that I just want to drag Ryan from here.

I looked at Light again and saw him looking at my hands in Ryan's sweater. I nervously brought my hands back and clasped it.

"What are you waiting for? Don't just stand there and fucking find some other place to PDA" His voice raised and even looked at everyone that immediately get back to what they were doing.

I just held Ryan's hand and lead him at the side to let Light and his members pass the hallway. Jiro just smiled at me at patted my head, the others Key, Joshua and Leo just also smiled at me.

I just smiled. Why is he so damn difficult to me? I even haven't done anything to him.

"You really like that rude guy Lei?" Ryan angrily spatted. "I don't care if he is so hot and all but he just insulted and humiliated us earlier. That was too much." He subtly flip his fingers.

I just sighed and lead him to the cafeteria. I just texted Mia to meet us there too.

The three of us just enjoyed the stall and the festival in general for the whole day. We waited until seven for the fireworks and finale.

"And for our finale, lets have The Band Rocks to jam with us tonight" The emcee shouted that just even hyped up the crowed. Everybody is now shouting especially the girls who are loudly calling the members names.

"OMG...you're so handsome Jiro"

"Be my boyfriend Joshua!!!"

"Ahhh! Marry me Leo"

"I'll locked you up with me Key wahhh!"

The crowed just got even hyper when their leader Light, got up in the stage too.

"Oh my gosh, I can't breathe my Light is so handsome" Someone beside us said that just made me roll my eyes.

The music starts and I can't help but to fall in love all over again with my Light's voice. Its just so manly but heavenly at the same time. He's like swaying me with his voice.

I was just intently looking at him when suddenly his eyes looked at our side. I'm not sure if he's looking at me but I'll just assume he is to make my heart happy.

I just smiled at him and did an okay sign. His lips slightly lifted up and the girls screamed even more.

It just stunned me and that feeling hits me again.

The loud thud of my heart is at it again.It beats so hard that it hurts.

He is so far away from me...so unreachable.

I looked away immediately and can't help but to feel my heart whose now as loud as the crowd. I calmed down myself and find Ryan and Mia. I didn't realized they're not beside me anymore. This is what Light always do to me. He seems to make me oblivious of the people and things around me.

There are so many people around and I can't properly find them. I just went to the side and tried to call them. Luckily, Ryan answered his phone.

"Hey, why did you left me in the middle of the crowd? Where are you? Are you with Mia?" I immediately asked.

"Sorry Lei, the crowd were so hype up there, and the girls keeps on pushing towards the stage. Mia was pushed by some of those girls and sprained her ankle, we're on the clinic right now" He said, I can even hear Mia's voice at the background scolding him for telling me what happened.

"What?! Why didn't you call me earlier? I come there immediately wait me there." I hurriedly walked past the crowd but they are so jam-packed I can't even move freely. I saw the backstage part that are not crowded and is much easier to pass through to get to the clinic faster.

I hurriedly walked towards there and sighed in relief when no notices me there. This has been a prohibited area fir those who are not a performer or a staff. But I just need usethe door here since I am more worried for Mia's safety than being caught here.

I was still looking behind if there is someone who will caught me when suddenly I was bumped into a hard wall...

Wait...wall? I was walking into a hallway, why would a wall be here?

I slowly looked in front and was so shocked I slightly move backwards when I saw a hard chest. From the tie he was wearing I immediately recognized who it is.

"Where are you going kid? Following me?" He coldly said. I just closed my eyes and tried to think for a good excuse but I just can't process anything in my mind. I don't know what to say when it comes to him.

"No...no, I'm sorry, but I just really need to use the way here. My friend is in the clinic and I just need to go for her " I honestly said since whatever happened I will still be scolded by him.

"You'll go to that Ashton? That's how worried you are to him? You didn't even finish our performance. So this is the girl who says she likes me huh..." He spatted as if he is saying some disgusted words.

I knotted my forehead, doesn't he know about pronouns? If I'm not mistaken I used a SHE earlier so I would supposedly visit a girl. And what is he talking about?

I just looked at him and equalled his cold stare at me.

"Haven't you heard the word SHE? I was supposedly be going to Mia, and what is your problem with Ryan? He haven't done anything to you." I angrily said and walked past him, but before I can freely go he immediately hold my wrist and pulled me towards him.

"Why? You don't like me anymore, you realized you much more like that bastard Ashton?" He is now glaring at me while saying that.

"What are you talking about? Why are bringing up Ryan in here? Yes I like you, I love you, but haven't you remembered, you're the one who doesn't like me or anything so why the fuss?" I am really annoyed at him right now.

"Yes...yes I don't like you. So stop following me and stop all of those nonsense you are doing to me." He madly said and let go of my hand. I just watched him walked away like he wants to have some fight right now.

I just sighed and slowly turned my back to walk towards the exit. I immediately run my way out and find the clinic. When I opened the door I saw Ryan, whose been leaning on Mia's bed and holding the hand of the latter whose sleeping.

When he realized someone has came, he looked at my side.

He just gave me a reassuring smile...

"How is she?" I ask and then hold Mia's hand.

"She's already okay, the nurse said its nothing that serious, she just got tired from all of the things we did the whole day that's why she fell asleep." He said while looking at me and then turned his attention to Mia whose still sleeping.

"That's good, I'll just buy some food outside for us...maybe she will get hungry when she wakes up."I said, he just nodded at me and I turned my back to get out of there. I just go to the near stall that is selling some hotdogs and burgers.I bought three of them as well as some drinks.

But before I went back to the clinic, someone just bumped me so hard that my drinks was spilled all over the place.

"Hey, little girl..." A woman, probably just as age as Light is infront of me and glaring.

"I saw you with Light earlier in the backstage, you're really desperate aren't you? He will never like you so stop chasing him...Light is mine!" She spatted amd pushed me that made me sit in the ground. The food I was holding is now also in the ground. My hands and wrists hurts from the impact of his push. My hips and butt is also hurting so bad, that I think some bones just cracked, I can't stand up properly.

I can't say anything right now, I was just sitting in the ground. Tears are slowly forming in my eyes, I know we have caught much attention from the crowd amd all I want to do right is to dissappear from here but I am just too weak.

"What are you doing Jessica?" A voice boomed from nowhere, it was so deep and dangerous that I immediately raised my head to where it came from.

Jiro was running towards me with a worried look.

I just noticed someone with a dark aura past by me but I can't see who it is because Jiro is blocking.

"Are you okay Lei, come I'll just carry you let's go to the clinic, your hands is bleeding." I looked at my hands and I haven't noticed it was already bleeding, maybe because of the stones.

I let my cousin carry me and hide my face in his chest.

I felt him stopped walking.

"The next time your girlfriend will hurt my cousin Light, I'm sorry but I will forget about our friendship and whatever you promised, you understand?" Jiro said, thinking about the person he is talking too just made me bury my face into Jiro's chest more.

I didn't heard any response, but Jiro continued to walk until I felt that him opening a door.

"I thought I was just the only one whose injured, it seems that we're really best of friends because we always end up with the same fate." Mia sarcastically said while looking at us.

"I thought you're just buying our food, why the hell you end up injured too?" Ryan asked and helped Jiro to put me down in a bed beside Mia's.

"Light's girlfriend pushed her." Jiro simply said.

"Arghhh, where is thay wench? I'll just pull all the hairs in her body. If it's not Light itself the people who will hurt you is still connected to him. You're already like a factory of tears, you always have a duty everyday. Maybe we could make it a business so that your tears would even have a worth." Mia is gritting her teeth while saying. I just sighed and didn't say anything.

"Stay away from him now Lei, maybe its time for you to give up." Jiro said while looking intently at me. Knowing Jiro to be the happy-go-lucky man, even if he is already half-way in his college just like the other members of the band, seeing him this serious just means one thing.

He knows I don't really have a chance with his friend...

And it hurts...its hurts so bad...

I still didn't say anything, instead I just turned on the other side, away from them and decided to sleep this pain I'm feeling.
