Alone in this dangerous world, Amy heard these words from her father the moment she got kicked out. 'How could he do this to me? His own daughter. The mansion I've lived in and called home since childhood, and I can no longer return here or call my home anymore, what can I do' She thought. Quickly she takes out her phone and calls her childhood friend. "hello?" a familiar voice comes from the other end of the phone. Her friend lilly. "hello? lilly" Amy replies fighting back tears. "hey, what's up" lilly replies. "not much I just miss my bestfriend is all" Amy tried her best to fight back the tears but in the end she lost that battle. As tears ?keep pouring down from her face she tries to speak "h-hey do think I c-can stay at your p-place for a while?" she broke down on the phone with her bestfriend, she knew that if she lost her bestfriend at this point she had no one to turn to. "Amy what's wrong? are you ok? of course you can stay at my place I've always got room for you, I'll meet you at the park" lilly being worried for her close friend rushed to the park to meet Amy, while Amy tried her hardest to pull herself together while dragging her luggage to the park. On her way there she decided that this would be the start of her new life, no ties to her families business or her family, no family inheritance she'd have to start all over from scratch. when she finally reached the park lilly rushes over to her and hugs her with all her strength. She feels as if something is off and she soon notices her once energetic, auburn haired, hazel eyed best friend was now skinnier, less energetic and had a full look on her face and in her eyes. "Amy what's happened to you?" lilly asked cautiously. Amy looks in Lilly's eyes and tries to explain. "you remember Jazmine?" lilly looks at Amy in confusion. "Of course I remember she's your cousin is she not?" Amy drops her head "well she had me kicked out of my home and family" Lilly's eyes widen, she looks at Amy In shock. As they walk home, Lilly and Amy try to figure out what her next step should be. "lilly I'm sorry for bothering you I promise once I get stable and get a job I'll move out as soon as possible and pay you back for everything" Lilly looked at Amy with worry "Amy you don't have to worry about that you can stay as long as you want I actually was looking for a roommate" she said showing her an ad she posted on her weibo account. "really?" Amy looked at Lilly with hope. "of course you don't have to worry about it it'll be like having a sleepover everyday" she said trying to encourage Amy. "Thank you lilly, for being a great friend" Amy said with a smile plastered across her face. After a while lilly got hungry but needed to go take a shower "Hey Amy, can you do me a favor?" lilly shouted from the bedroom. "sure what's up?" amy replied walking to the bedroom door before opening it.

" you remember the convenience store down the street?"

Amy nodded her head "yeah"

"do you mind taking my card and grabbing some snacks please" she said pouting to make her friend want to do it more.

Amy laughed at this Lilly always does this when she wants something from someone ever since she was a child, it reminded her of their childhood together. "sure" she answered smiling and reaching for her coat. Lilly reached for her wallet, pulled out her card and handed it to Amy.

"the usual?" She asked

"of course and only my bestest friend in the whole wide world would know these items!" she said happily and playfully, and just like that Amy set of to the store.

As Amy was walking she got the strange feeling that somebody was watching her. with her mind jumping from question to question about why she was feeling this way she just chalked it up to her being paranoid. the store was only a few blocks away and the trip would total up to thirty minutes anyways so she just shook of the feeling.

......Amy's POV......

I have nothing. No family, all of my friends think I'm a terrible person, My father won't listen to word that come out of my mouth and will only listen to my cousin's lies. I hate this, this feeling of helplessness, like I can't stand up for myself, and feeling like I'm an outcast in my own family.

I should call lilly right? But what if she turns her back on my like everyone else? If Lilly doesn't help I have no one to call on. It won't hurt to try right? I should just call her and maybe she'll help me.

picking up my phone I see I'm almost out of charge I hurry up and call Lilly's number. I raise the phone to my ear. thinking about everything that just happened. Lilly answered the phone and i asked if I could stay with her for a while, she agreed. I felt a feeling of relief that she was still willing to help me. I tried to fight back the tears but this was one of the many battles that I would have to end up losing in my lifetime.

Lilly seemed worried through the tone of her voice and we agreed to meet at a park nearby.

arriving at the park I felt like I was being watched but I guess it was because I was in a park with a suitcase at the time. I walked up to Lilly who gave me the tightest hug she could. we talked for a while before agreeing to head to her place. We arrived.

I don't know how I should repay her for helping me out.

I let her know that I would pay her back as soon as I could. She assured me not to worry about it and to focus on getting a job.

we hung out on the couch and talked for a while before Lilly decided she wanted to go take a shower.

"Hey Amy, can you do me a favor?" she called out from the bedroom

I began walking towards the door "sure what's up?" I replied opening the door.

"do you remember the convenience store down the street"

I looked at her leaning on the doorframe "yeah"

She looked at me pulling out her bottom lip like a child begging for candy "can you take my card and get some snacks from there"

I laughed looking at her like this reminded me of our childhood she would do this often to get her way hoping that she would look to cute to refuse

I smiled "yeah, sure"

I reach for my coat I'll it over my arms and zip it up while Lilly pulls her card out of her wallet. Before I leave I make sure of what she wants from the store.

"the usual?" I ask slipping on my shoes.

" of course and only my bestest friend in the whole wide world would know these items" she said winking at me. I smiled again before taking my leave.

While walking down the street I had the same feeling as before while I was in the park, as if I was being watched by someone. My mind started racing. I'm a young woman walking the streets and it's starting to get dark my stomach drops.

I started to think that I was just being paranoid after walking for five minutes like this if someone wanted to do something bad they would've done it already. I then try to calm myself by reminding myself that it was only a thirty minute walk in total, what's the worst that could happen.

Just then I felt a hand go over my face. I didnt know what to do I try to kick but who ever it is they're strong. What do I do? Do I scream?
