She said as she ran through her palaces coridor

Oh cmon I'm late for the start of the year seremony and I'm the freaking princess

I've been waiting for this day to come and here I am late for it

I still hope I have a freaking chance to choose before my "perfect sister" choose the good ones "damn I need to be more carefull" she said when she tripped over the carpet on the entrance

She was about to open the door but it was locked

She took out her lock piking kit from her pocket and inserted the two like wires in the doorknob

When she heard it click on the other side she quickly stuffed her lock picking kit in her pocket before she entered

When she turned the doornknob the angry face of her twin brother greeted her

"And where were you again hmm Penelope?" Her brother asked her with a hint of annoyance in his voice

"I slept through my alarm clock..." Penelope said nervously because she knew how annoyed her brother was right now

She gulped before entering the room on her brothers side

Her perfect sister already chose someone and there was only one candidate left and that was a boy named Axel a dangerous but sweet mafia boss, at that time she knew she was in trouble and she knew that when she marry this man her life Is going to turn 360

And she knew she was gonna be imprisoned for the rest of her life because to her

All boys are the same...

Chapter 1

Axel's P. O. V

"Boss she's ready" Laya said as she entered the room I am in

Finally that girl is ready I am a kind and caring person but I don't have a long patients

She's been in her room for hour's and I was in a hurry so I didn't have time for this but since Mom sad I should and will wait so I stayed

After five more minute's she got out of her room carrying her luggage I helped her carry it to the van since it looked heavy

After an hour or two we finally got to the mansion and got some rest

"I know she doesn't want to be married to me... But we both have no choice but to marry" I said out of frustration

"I know axel I know" Willow one of my companion said

"Ugh... I don't want to force her into doing this... I know she doesn't love me as much as I love her...'" I confessed

Yes I do love her I have been loving her ever since  elementary and it doesn't seem to be working

Evertime  I tried to confess to her it always fail

There was this one time when I caught her crying in one of the classroom in our high-school I wanted to comfort her but I knew she wanted some alone time

She has lot's of friend which is the opposite of me I had some friend's but turns out the just wanted to use me for money I was so stupid and fell for everything they told me they even got me to bully one of my close friend but I soon figured everything out and unfriended them

But that's enough talking about me

Just then I came back to my senses when I heard cute tiny little sobs coming from one of the room's

I knew who it was coming from so I stepped in the room and found Penelope crying

Penelope's P. O. V.

I heard someone open the door and come towards my direction I knew it was Axel

I told him to go away but he didn't listen to me instead he sat beside me and hugged me from behind

Somehow it was comforting and soothing

The one thing that I didn't know was I was already falling for him even though I only met him

(her memories got erased because she got in an accident I'll explain later through a flashback)

Unknowingly I fell asleep in his embrace...

Flashback     (10 year's before)

10 year old Penelope was playing with 11 year old boy named Axel in the backyard of her Palace

"Axel?" called Penelope for the boy while trying to find him in the little maze that her dad  built for her

Suddenly she heard a loud thud behind her

She was about to run away but someone held her arm causing the both of them to fall over in such a weird possition

"Penelope it's me" Axel aid while trying to calm Penelope down because she was already crying

"Axel?" Penelope said with a hint of annoyance in her voice because she was so worried that the little boy was lost somewhere in the maze

"You scared me!" she yelled at him

"Sorry..." he appologized

"I-it's okay" the little girl said stuttering because she had a crush on axel for a very long time now and she wasn't sure if the little boy feels the same

Little did she know he did have felling's for her too

"Master Axel we have to go back... Madame just called me saying that we have to go back now!"

Said Axel's maid who was with him

"Okay..." Axel said disappointed

"Hey... We'll see each other again soon so don't be sad," Said little Penelope while cupping Little Axel's cheeks

Axel was surprised by how the little girl acted but came back to his senses when the little girl snapped her fingers in front of him

He kissed the little girl's  cheek before running because he knew that Penelope will get mad at him for doing that the boy just laughed when Penelope shouted at him for doing so

Meanwhile...

??? P. O. V.

There I saw the little girl that shouted at her accompany perfect now that she's alone I can execute my plan now

Just when i pulled the trigger the little girl collapsed on the floor and some maids around her was shock but gain their consciousnes jut the right time before the girl collapsed some went to go get help and some who ran to the little girl to give her medical attention

Heh that's what you get for killing him...

I know the little girl did nothing but she's the one who caused the commotion that killed him

The ambulance was fast to get there but I was already out and hopefully didn't leave traces...

Penelope's P. O. V.

I woke up in my bed

"I don't remember falling asleep here..." I mumbled as I got up

Just then I remembered on how I fell asleep

I knew my face was red so I covered my face with my hand and tried to calm my self down

After a few minutes I decided to go in the bathroom and wash my self

As soon as I wore the outfit I got down to the dining area to eat...

Axel's P. O. V.

As she walked down the stairs I couldn't take my eyes off of her she was stunning

When she sat down the maid or Sera served her plate with bacon and eggs

We two started to eat when I decided to ask her a question

"Penelope do you know when we'll get married?" I asked I didn't expect an answer from her

"I think in two years at July 1st, why? Didn't you know?" She asked me

"N-no I wasn't informed I was busy with work" I said

"Oh" I heard her mumble

"But now that I'm informed that will be great we can get to know each other" I said

After our short talk it was back to silence

I know that she knows about my job as a mafia

After our silent breakfast the reapers was already in my office because they were already informed that we have a mission today

I wanted to spend more time with Penelope today but I know  can't I wanted to know more about her but we have a mission today so I can't maybe tommorow I will spend my time with her but not now with that said my other "colleague" got in my study room to tell me that the reapers are ready

Penelope's P. O. V.

Why does he have work today?

Can't he spend time with me today I mean yeah I know we just met so isn't it the right thing to do to cancel his plans for today just to get to know me better? Ugh nevermind I sound like I'm jealous or some sort

"Umm.. Excuse me, But who are you?" one slutty looking maid asked me

"oh umm I am... Uh.. How do I say this... I'm Penelope, Axel's fiancé" just when I said that I saw her face light up bright red

"STOP LYING! I'M HIS FIANCÉ!"

I got very startled when she shouted so I accidentally knocked the glass beside me and it made a loud thud

Some maid's rushed to see if something happened just then they saw the glass on the floor

"Ma'am Penelope! Are you alright?" selena My personal maid asked me

"I'm alright selena..."

"I'm alright Selena but may you please tell me who this slut looking maid is?" I asked without hesitation

"She's Amber Ma'am do you have any more questions ma'am?" she asked

"None thank you Selena you may go" I dismissed her

"Okay Ma'am" she said and left the dining area

After the maids cleaned up the glass they left and now I'm alone with this maid

"Tell me when did you start working here Amber?" I asked her

She rolled her eyes before answering rudely to my question

"Why do you need to know you wh*re?" she said not hesitating

"Watch your mouth you slut" I said authoritively it seemed to work because I saw her take a few inches back

"Now I'm going to ask again, when did you start working here?" I said as I stood up my chair

"Since 2017" she said trying to hide her fear

So this slut right in front of me was hired 3 years ago

"Well Amber better pack your things now because you are fired." I said with a monotonous voice

I saw tears forming in her eyes as I said that

She ran down the hall which I'm guessing leads to her room

I know I sound like a total b**ch right there but she should know who she talks rudely to before she acts

I got up to my room to get my keys and my wallet

"Selena want to come with me to the mall?" I asked her when I got to her room

"Sure Ma'am" she said

"Selena you know you can just call me Penelope right?" I asked her because I'm getting sick of her calling me maam everytime

"Yes I know but-"

"No buts" I cut her off

"Okay if your sure Penelope..." she said still hesitating

"Good" I said as we step outside my room

We talked and talked until we reached the garage where my new parked car is

We got in and drove towards the mall which was only a few kilometers away from the mansion yep you heard me right mansion

I've already expected Axel's House to be a mansion its pretty big but still smaller than the palace

And now we are inside the mall window shopping we both are having fun but we were pretty hungry and tired so we got inside a resto and ordered

I was having fun with Selena I found a lot more happiness here than the Palace and the mansion in there I felt like I'm a prisoner

But here I'm allowed to be myself

When me and Selena was done eating we went to the arcade on the 2nd floor there were lots of kids there playing

"It's been a while since I've last been here..." Selena said out of the blue

"Well... What are we waiting for?... Let's have some fun!" I said excitingly

Like Selena I have not been here lately because there were many preparations on coronation my 18th birthday and who will be the next Queen

I've last been here when I was... I think 12 years old?... I was not really sure

When me and Selena had our fun we went back to the car to go to the mansion but something caught my attension

I was looking at the book store I didn't even notice that I stopped

"You want to go in?" Selena asked beside me

I nodded my head and walked towards the book store

Some books caught my attention

They were about young detectives it caught my interest so I bought the all the books because they were continuem

The book was called, Project Loki? What a strange name for a book but I'm sure I'm going to love it

They were also some other books I bought they were like the other continuem but it was called

Detective Files just like the other one I bought the continue of the story so I don't have to go back

After my book shopping we went back to the mansion and got to my room Selena also bought some books and clothes

And I tell you what those clothes she bought really fitted her she has good fashion style so I let her pick some of my clothes

When we got to the mansion both of us headed towards our rooms to relax for a bit before going down to eat

After we both ate I was in my room to write in my secret diary when I heard a car pulling outside I was just on the second floor so I heard it

It was Axel... Bruised?!

Chapter 5

When I saw him I quickly hid my diary and ran down the stairs

When I saw him being escorted by the maids I quickly ran to help

"What happened?!" I asked the maids

I sat Axel down and asked for the med kit

Luckily his bruises weren't that deep but they were many of it

"Our... Mission... Was s-sabotaged..." one of his reapers said panting heavely

"We... Barely escaped..." the other one said

"Bring all the reapers to the med bay... I'll take care of Axel but I may need some assistance"

"I'll go with you ma'am" someone said behind me

When I turned around it was Selena

I guess she was awoken by the sound too

"Alright then let's go" I said

We both escorted Axel to his room and treated his wounds there were pretty bad ones but they were not that deep

"What even happened?" I asked still treating his wound on his left arm it looked like a cut from a sharp knife

"You don't need to know..." he said kind of hesitating...?

When we were done I was about to go back to my room when I heard him say

"Could you stay by my side tonight?" he mumbled

I looked back at him

I mean he is injured pretty bad and the wounds might bleed again... And this is an opportunity to get to know him better... And I could keep a close eye on him

"Sure" I said as I turned back at him

I was about to head towards the sofa on the side near the window when he said

"Don't tell me your going to sleep at the sofa? Sleep here" he said and patted the space beside him

I started to go to his bed to sleep beside him

He smile's at me and then layed

I sat beside him and scrolled on my phone for some minutes whe I heard a groan beside me

I quickly turned to him and asked

"What happened? Does your wound hurt?" I said

"My side hurts..." He said sleepy

"Hold on i'll go get the med kit real quick" I said as I rushed towards the bath room where the med kit is

When I got back he was sitting right up

"Does it hurts still?" I asked as I was changing his band aid

"A little bit..." he answered

After that he got back to bed but I stayed up thinking that his wound might bleed again

I was very sleepy at the time when I looked at the clock beside his bed it was just 11:43 in the evening

I just headed down to get myself some coffee when I got back Axel was not in his bed I noticed that the balcony door was open so I assumed he was there I put my coffee on his side table and headed toward there

Once I stepped out I felt the cold breeze of wind that flow through my hair

I saw Axel leaning against the balcony and headed towards him

"What are you doing out here? You should be in bed." I said and he just chuckled at me

"My, My what a fierce fiance does Axel have~" someone said behind me

"Who are you and where is Axel?!" I shouted

"Penelope..." Someone called out my name

"Axel? Why ask for him when you have me?" asked the mysterious figure

"I am asking you politely... Now tell me where he is!" I shouted at the figure again

"Penelope...!" someone called out my name again

I was about to run towards the mysterious figure when I suddenly felt someone shaking me

"Penelope! Wake up!" I jumped at the voice and nearly fell off of the chair I was sitting on

"Oww! What the hell?!" I shouted at Axel who is now helping me get up

"Thank god you woke up I thought I was gonna have to call the ambulance..." Axel said while we were going out of his bedroom

"Anyways, why are you sweating like that?" Axel asked

I just noticed it... Oh my god I am sweating

I got my handkerchief out and started wiping away my sweat and continued making my- I mean our way to the dining area

When we got there the other reapers were there too

I just said nothing and sat near beside Axel cus' apperantly the chair that was no where to be found yesterday just appeared out of nowhere

I looked at him and now I knew that he did this

Because when I looked at him a saw a devious smirk on his lips

A few minutes later our food arrived and we started to eat when suddenly the loudest knock on the door reached my ears

Selena opened the door and was shock to see who was on the other side

and guess who it is!

Yes, your right the b*tch Amber is back

I stood up and faced her

"What are you doing here slut?" I asked

"Oh I see, the b*tch is still here" she said menicingly

I calmed myself down first before I can do any thing to her

"AXEL! CAN YOU COME HERE?!" I shouted

He got here quick and saw the slut standing infront of me

"Baby!! Can you please let me in? This b*tch won't get out of my way!" she whined

I just rolled my eye's before going up the stair's to my room

"I lost my appetite, if you guys need me I'll be in my room." I said annoyed that slut has to know who she talk's to before I kill her

Yep, I kill people some time's but that's because they get in my nerve's that's part of my bloodline

Can't do anything about it -. -

Peachy's POV

I screamed as another whip hitted my back

"WHAT THE HELL?! " My husband known as Darrow hissed from the door

"Your supposed to do it like this! " He said as he snatched the whip from the other boys hand as he started to whip my back much more powerful

The screams continued as he whipped me

It's always like this very single day

I can't do anything about it because I'm tied up

I'm very hungry and very weak at the moment

The other boy who was with Darrow looks at me helplessly

Over the time that I've been here I knew that he was an ally his name's Elijah

He was in my side this whole time but because of Darrow he couldn't get to me

Sometimes he brings me food but that's very rare since Darrow is always guarding me

I hate it, but because of the engagement I can't do anything against him or this happens

I've been here for the past few week's and I regret choosing him as my husband I'm already 20 we both are actually but because of the stupid rule that says

"You have to get married once you turn 20" Thing I have to be forced to get married and since me and Penelope is in the same age we both had to get a groom but since she's the youngest she has to get married at her 22nd birthday

I feel so guilty right now...

How I wished I was already the queen to vanish that stupid rule

Me and my younger siblings were super close when we were little... But now that we're all "grown up" We were not able to get together again

When we were all kids we had the time to spend with each other and I loved that moment it's just that we don't get to spend mush more time with each other anymore

Oh shoot! I forgot! God damn it!

When I get hurt she gets hurt too!

****! That's why I can sense her looking for me!

I forgot!

She needs to release or else we are doomed

End of Peachy's POV

Penelope's POV

"Oww! ****! Wth! " Penelope screamed when she felt a sting on her back

"Penelope! Does it hurt still? " Axel asked

"What do you think?! " She yelled

"Why are you even hurt? " Axel asked again

She thinked for a second before telling Axel what is happening with her

"Me and my... Sister,Peachy has a special connection between each other... For example when I get hurt she gets hurt too... So it is important we look out for each other... " Penelope explained

(This was 2 weeks before)

And when she finished explaining she felt the unbearable sting on her back again

"AHHHH!!!! " She screamed again

That screaming went on until 3 am in the morning

"Thank god this room is soundproof... " She mumbled between her panting

After a short amount of time she fell asleep

THE NEXT MORNING

Penelope woke up to a loud crashing loud

She stood up to go down stairs to the dining area

There she found Axel standing over Amber that was on the floor whining like a baby

"What's... Going on... Here? " Penelope asked sleepy

"YOU WOKE PENELOPE UP!! " Axel shouted at Amber

"I-I-I'm so-sorry... " Amber apologized

Wh-what the-? Why's the slut apologising?

"Why's she apologising?" Penelope asked

"She is your other personal maid now. " Axel said authoratively that made Amber stumble back

Axel explained everything to me and how he demanded Amber to be my second personal maid to pay up for what she did to me on the day that I fired her

The sting on my back came back and it was much more horrible than the sting that was on last night

I fell on my knees and Axel ran towards me to help me up and get me to my room

Amber was supposed to bring my breakfast to my room but she obviously tripped on the stairs that caused the loud thud that woke me up this morning

Penelope's thought

"Those were my favorite 😢

And she wasted it... 😭"

(Bacon, eggs and pancakes is what she is talking about)

Damn that clumsy b*tch,Penelope woke up because of her!

I know that Penelope slept late because of the sting's on her back

She slept 3 am in the morning I know because her room might be soundproof but I still can hear her scream's even though I was the second room next to her

"Are you okay? Penelope? " I asked

Because I know that hurts like hell

"What would you think I feel?! " She yelled at me

I knew it, I'm used to her yelling at me like that

"Sorry I just had to make sure... " I apologized

"It's okay but please... Don't ask stupid a*s question when you know what the answer is. " She said demandingly

I can be scared of her sometimes because her voice is actually so scary... And I'm scared of it ...

I know that sounds like a total lie but that's true

"If you need me I'll be at my office... (Dealing with someone) " I mumbled the last words so she can't hear.

"What did you say? " She asked

"Nothing don't worry about it" I said

Peachy's POV

And here I am at my trashy "bedroom" You may call it the basement

Yeah that's right I sleep in the basement

"Well... Well... Well if they isn't Elijah, what are you doing down here? You know that you can get caught right? And to make it worse it's the middle of the day that you visited, what the actual heck is wrong with you? " I asked

"Sorry... I just missed you I haven't been able to see you for 3 days and that is very unusual for you... Or Darrow... " He explained

"Why? What has he been up to? " I asked him

"Well... Things that is very strange for him to do is he goes out like... 7 in the morning then comes back at 5 in the afternoon I don't know what he does but every Friday he does that... " He said to me

And my suspicion was confirmed its very obvious that he has an affair with someone out the house

"You know what I'm thinking? Elijah? " I asked because I know he knows what I mean

"Yeah I know... And I'm very sorry for you... " He said

"... " I just didn't say anything to him and without knowing I passed out

Chapter 6

Next thing I know is when I woke up at the mansions clinic

I over heard the nurse talking to Elijah and she said

"She passed out because of malnutrition and she needs food so she can get better... But knowing boss he wouldn't care..." That's the last thing I heard when someone opens the curtain and saw me awake of course it was Elijah

I was about to get out of bed when he stopped me saying that I needed to rest and eat some food that he brought

Knowing me he knows that I wanted to eat so badly but because of Darrow I can't so when he laid the food on the food tray I sit still for a moment when

"Why aren't you eating? You don't like the food? I'll go get some-" But before he could even stand I spoke

"No, no! Of course I would love to eat it but what if Darrow finds out? He'd punish me and hurt both me and my sister... " I said without hesitant

Just then I forgot he doesn't know about me and my sisters case

"What do you mean that he'd hurt you both? Peachy, your sister isn't here how can he hurt you both? " He asked

Peachy's mind

"God I'm so dumb! I wasn't thinking! Great now I have more explaining to do! "

"Well... I forgot to tell you this but me and my sister, Penelope has a case"
