This is my first story, I hope you like it.

Liya's POV

"You still need to wear the leg brace," said doctor Charles and look at my left disabled leg. "I am sorry."

"Oh don't be! It's not your fault, why did you say that?" I said.

"Liya, I am happy to see you like this," he smiled.

"You mean, like this," I said, teasing and looking at my leg.

"No! Its not what I mean!" he said nervously.

"I know, I tease you," I said.

"What I tried to say is, I am happy to see that you are still a fighter. It's been 2 years after that accident and you still fight for your way. Don't lose that, keep that in your heart," he said and smiled at me.

"You know, I, sometimes exhausted. I don't want to think about what happened in the past, but that past can't go through me," I said.

"Don't worry, everything will be okay," he said and smiled at me with warm hearted.

Doctor Charles is a good person. If he is not here, I will be too lonely.

"Miss Frost, long time no see," said the woman who was standing beside me.

"Marie?" I said. I don't have other words to say.

"You're still the same," she said and look at me."Did you become supermodel now?"

I am not the only one who's still the same here, her character, the way she despised people is still the same.

"Oh my! I forget that your leg was broken two years ago. I am sorry," she said while looking down on me. "Its a waste that you can't become supermodel. You used to proud of your body."

I can't stand how she speak.

"You remember that well. Please also remember that why my leg become like this," I said while controlling my anger. "And, I am not the same as you know what happened. I lose all my kindly manner 2 years ago, so chooseyour words carefully."

I turned around and bumped into a man who was standing behind me.

"Sorry, " I said.

I don't want to see this woman face again. I need to go.

"Where do you think you are going?" said the man whom I bumped into him before.

I am not sure if he's talking to me, but when I look at him he was looking at me with his fierce and deep set eyes.

"Who are you to talk that way?" he said.

"Sorry?" I said. Who was he to talk to me like that?

"Oh sorry. Liya, meet my fiance. Klaus Owen. He is the CEO of............" Marie said but I stopped her.

"Wow, you got engaged. Congratulations. Now please excuse me, I am tired of seeing your face," I said. "And congrats to you too Klaus Owen."

I guess people can't see her true colors. She's not changed at all. Seeing her reminds me of my school days. I am stressed out. I need to stop thinking about it.

I was standing at the bridge and thinking about how I got into accident. Well, I am not the one who need to feel like this. They are, those who used to be my friends are the one who need to feel sorry and asking me for forgiveness.

And now I can't stop my tears. This is frustrating!

"Why are you crying here? If you want to cry go home and cry."

Oh! He startled me!

"This world is cruel, right? So, don't ever try to take your life again," he said.

"Excuse me?" What is he talking about? Take my life?

"You should thank me, I just saved your life."

He is crazy.

"How can you save my life when my life is not in danger? " I asked.

His expression changed into amazement.

"You mean..........you didn't try to killed yourself?"

"Yes," I answered. His face............he thought I was trying to kill myself. Haha.

"I am sorry, please you can continue, " he apologized. But what should I continue?

"Continue what? " I asked again.

"Crying. You cried earlier. I am sorry for disturbing you, I'll excuse myself, " he said and left.

I don't know if he's dumb or nice. He is funny though.

I entered our new dorm with my friends, Marie, Zoey, Rosaline, Remy. Yes, it was our first day at the University. And the dorm was nice and clean.

"I had never get excitement like this!" shouted Marie. She's acted up again.

"What's gotten into you? " I asked.

"Well, we got to University, all of us. I am happy that all of you are here with me," said Marie with tears.

"Group hug," said Rosaline. Group hugged, it was great.

"Let's clean up first, we have class tomorrow," I said and they agreed. Well, I was the eldest among us, they listened to me.

As time passed, we became popular, not that much popular but most of them knew us.

They knew me because I did some runway show and shot on magazine. Plus, I was topper in our department. I was always wanted to become supermodel, but my family wanted me to become doctor. So, I thought if I did well in my studying, they may allowed me to become model. That's the only reason why I become topper.

It was Halloween, everyone was excited and playing except Mandy. If I hadn't talked to her that day, things may not happened this way.

She was sitting silently on the corner, I talked to her.

"Mandy Parker, right? " I asked.

"You know me?" said Mandy.

"Of course I know you. Why would I not know you?"

"You're quite popular. You are Liya Frost, the topper and model" she said and smiled.

"I am not model now," I said.

Marie come to us, "What are you two still doing there. We need two ghosts, hurry up," she said.

"Let's go," I said and grabbed Mandy's hand, but she was hesitated and sit still.

"I am not familiar with this, I am not good in this, I am afraid, " she said.

"In that case, you can follow my lead. Once you get there, you'll figure there is nothing to be afraid," I said and tried to comfort her at my best. "We're going to act like ghosts, let's go," she laughed followed me.

At the next day, I saw Mandy crying in the washroom. As soon as she saw me, she wiped her tears.

"Mandy, what's wrong?" I asked.

"Nothing," she answered.

"Mandy, please do tell me. How can I help?" I asked again.

The other girls came in, they are 4, they saw us and laughed.

I remembered her face, she was Veronica Mars, she was also popular because of her beauty and she was Luke Anderson's girlfriend.

"Look, Mandy Parker was approached other girl. I don't remember giving her permission," said Veronica. The way she spoke, I knew it was bullying.

"Who is she?" I asked to Mandy, acted like I don't know her. I knew that girls like Veronica hate when people didn't know her.

"She is Veronica Mars, you don't know her?" said one Veronica's friends.

"Sorry, I don't remember speaking to you," I said.

"This b*t*h!" she shouted.

"Why shouted when we can hear you properly?" I said and she grabbed my hair.

"Let go, I said let go!" I shouted and threw her at the wall. I used to fight when I was little.

Four of them began to pulled my hair. Suddenly my friends appeared.

"How dare you!" Zoey shouted and pulled their hair. And the other also helped me. Some people who heard us watched our fight. Luckily, our professors didn't know. It was an exhausted fight.

We celebrated our victory

From that day, Mandy became our friend. She moved to dorm and left Veronica's dorm.

She's not talked much but she when she was with us, she's fond of talking.

I wondered, if I had not helped her, will things changed?
