It was a cool Saturday morning past 6:00 PM, I was down at the cafeteria. "Elijah, have youvery heard about the new student? People say he's really handsome and that he's attracted to boys.. maybe you have a chance!" my roommate said. "Haha. good one." I say annoyed by my roommate's bold assumption. What I didn't realise is that the new student was walking towards my table. He was tall and slim with dark hair, fair skin with blue eyes.. he was wearing a dark green sweater, ripped jeans, a dark blue beanie with light blue stripes and black vans. "The rumours were true!" said my roommate very excited. "Hey, you don't mind if I sit here right?" the new student said. "No.." I said while I was staring at his gorgeous face. "My name's Xavier.. your's?" he said. I spaced out for a split second..

"Oh.. my name? It's Elijah" I said while stuttering a bit. We started talking and talking.. what seemed like a normal conversation became gibberish in my head. It felt like I was already falling for him... perhaps he wanted that to happen..? I couldn't fall for someone this easily right..? I reassured myself that I wasn't falling for him.. I tried clearing my mind and rethink the whole situation.. It all became more reasonable and clear.

Afterwards he gave us his number and my roommate and I went back to the dorm. I was finishing my assignment when this thought went through my mind.. what if he... "likes" me? After I finished my assignment I texted him.. I texted Xavier.. We talked for a few hours and then he invited me to hangout with him and his friends on Sunday. I froze for a second then I thought that it wouldn't be that bad since I've got nothing to do.

Sunday, 8:00 AM

I'm supposed to meet him today.. I'm not nervous.. I'm actually really excited. "Oh hi! I didn't expect you this early" he said surprised "Come in, have a seat. Make yourself comfortable while I get ready". I lay down on the couch leaving my FILA shoes beside the couch "Did I take too long?" said Xavier coming out of his room dressed with an Adidas sweater and Adidas sweatpants "Let's go!". Xavier grabs his car keys and I put my FILA shoes on before I leave. "Hey have you ever went to Del Taco before?" Xavier asked. "No.. I've only seen the vine with fre sh a voca do" I reply, "Well then why don't we go there?" asked Xavier, "Sure.." I said.

When we arrived there were barely 40 people there, "I'll get a beyond avocado taco" said Xavier with a satisfied look on his face, "I'll just get the del taco crunchy" I said. Suddenly four people enter "Aye! Xavy!" said the tallest one "I knew you'd be here!". I was in shock. He was new! how can he make that many friends in one day...? "Who's that little-- Wait Elijah?" said the average one, "You guys know him?" said Xavier confused, "Yeah he's been at our University for almost 3 semesters" said Xavier's friends. Xavier looked really confused..

Our orders arrived and we start chit - chatting. Then.. we hear something loud...
