As the old man sits in his rocking chair the same one his dad rocked him to sleep in his grandkids Jessica Age 6 and her older brother Nate Age 9 come running up to him and say “Grandpa please tell us another one of your stories there awesome!” Grandpa just looks at them,thinks for a second and clears his throat with a cough an says “Alright come now sit on my lap and listen.” The grandkids quickly get up and sit on each of his knees.

“Alright before I tell this story you kids are gonna need some backstory. This story follows Marshal but Marshal isn’t like you and me he is very poor.” He says but gets interrupted by Jessica “Grandpa what does poor mean?” Jessica says with a confused look on her face. “Well poor means you don’t have much money and you can’t afford most items. But let me finish the story.” “His alarm ringing waking him up Marshal knew what day it was, It was Monday meaning he had to go to his terrible paying job at 8/12 the local gas station. With a pay of 6 dollars a hour and terrible hours Marshal can’t afford to pay his rent and has already gotten the notice of evection he’s gonna get kicked out in a few days maybe only a day. Marshal gets ready in his green and white outfit. And leaves the apartment on his way Marshal pulls out his cheap kraager pay phone and calls his grandma. It rings for a second and it picks up “H-Hello hun? Is that you?” “Yeah grandma can I come stay at yours for a while until I get back on my feet?” “You know your always welcome at my house come and stay for as long as you need.” “Thanks Grandma.” *Click* He hangs up the phone and continues to go to his job. When he arrives at his job his boss Dave slams his way to him and yells “MARSHAL YOU ARE FIVE MINUTES LATE IM DOCKING YOUR PAY BY 30% FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK” Marshal doesn’t try to fight he can’t fight with him because he’s the “Boss” Marshal goes on with his day at work getting yelled at or worked like a dog all day. Until a customer comes in dressed up in old time looking fortune teller costume she walks up to Marshal and says. “You look like you could have a do over.” “Yes mame my life is like this I would like a do over” he says with a chuckle,she gives Marshal a sharp look and says “Be careful what you ask for just might be the opposite of what you want.” And she walks out. Without buying anything. Marshal looks confused but doesn’t think much about it because he gets lots a loony customers everyday. Marshals boss Dave comes up to him with a angry look on his face “YOU ARENT ALOWED TO CONVERSE WITH CUSTOMERS LIKE YOU LOVE THEM YOUR FIRED!” He says, But Marshal doesn’t care he hands in his badge and vest and leaves for his apartment so he can pack up and leave for his grandmas house. Marshals life has always been tuff his mom was absent his dad raised him and together they grew up poor. Marshal is currently 19 with medium long black hair and is 6”0 tall.
