Patient 002 - Zane Warren
Episode 1
Rosen Lake Hospital has an unusual plan out.
There are 16 floors and the very top floor is Floor 0
While the bottom floor is Floor 16
But if you could stick with this strange plan out that’d be great

Did you hear about Patient 002?

A nurse told me about it when I asked about Floor 0

Apparently the whole floor only holds 1 person

They say it’s a boy who practically lives here

*Sees a boy covered in bandages running outside*
David Foster
They say he’ll leave without permission
David Foster
And then come back 3 days later will fatal wounds
David Foster
And that he doesn’t listen to any of the doctors

*Watching the boy from out the window*

*Turns back to David, the friend he’s known since elementary school and the friend who got them both into the hospital*

We aren’t allowed up there

*Pushes up glasses*

Last time I listened to one of your plans we both ended up in the hospital

*Turns red and looks away*

*Puts his hood over his head and looks out the window, silently*

*Notices Zane’s bandages*

*Looks at the ground sadly*

*Sitting on his bed talking and laughing with David and Evan*
*They all turn to see a doctor standing in the doorway smiling*

*Turns away and puts his hood on his head again*

What are you doing here?
Doctor Mason
I stop by every night
Doctor Mason
Just as usual
Doctor Mason
And I’m surprised to see you smiling
Zane Warren
Did I say you could come in?
Doctor Mason
*Stops and sighs*
Doctor Mason
What am I going to do with you?

I’m leaving tomorrow

You haven’t fully healed

*Starts writing on the clipboard he’s carrying*

*turns to walk away, but turns back*

There are extra blankets in the cupboard if you are going to stay the night

*Throws a pillow and the pillow hits the door as Doctor Mason closes it*

*Gets out of bed being careful not to wake David and Evan*

*Goes into the bathroom and gets ready for the day*

*Comes out of the bathroom and looks at the clock*

*Stretches and puts on his jacket and shoes*

*Puts his headphones over his ears*

*Grabs his phone and starts listening to music*

*Grabs his wallet and keys*

*Walks out of his room and into the empty hallway*

I have 13 minutes

*Starts walking down the hall without making any noise*

*Starts humming to himself*

*Gets into the elevator*

*Pushes the bottom for the bottom floor and patiently waits, still humming*
*An alarm starts going off, probably waking every single person in the hospital*

6 minutes left

I’ll reach the bottom floor before they do

Man, I’m cutting it close today

*Gets out of elevator because it reached the bottom floor*

*Pauses music and and removes headphones, so their now resting around his neck*

*Puts his hands in his pockets and starts walking toward the front desk*

*Peacefully filling out a release form*

*Steps foot outside and takes in the cool morning air*

*Gets on his motorcycle and drives away*

*Running out the front door yelling at Zane*
