I'm starting to feel this book has more updates about updates then there are chapters and it's annoying and stressful. So to start off I want to thank those who have been reading and supporting this book, despite how crappy it is and how far behind I am then I planned to be. The year is sort of coming to a close and I haven't even gotten 10% of the story out of the way. It now feels all over the place and it worries me.

This chapter is going to be about a few things. So if you've read the previous chapter then you may have seen my authors note about me making an update about certain changes, for instance the story plot.

So I will be changing the story plot. And by changing I mean actually making a story plot and not going everywhere. When I started this book it was just for fun and I didn't even plan to continue it. But I did and now I'm realizing "Oh sh*t I don't have a damn story plot. So what the hell-?"

So, this is me just trying to get all my ideas out properly to answer questions I've gotten. So I'll start by answering the most asked questions about the characters to clear up any confusion.

If you don't care about these questions then scroll down to part 2. I'll be discussing the "plot" or lack of one. These will be listed so just scroll down. For those who want to see if your questions are answered then please read.

PART 1

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Question 1: "So is Ezra like a ped*phile? Since in the beginning he kind of went for Lucian without knowing his age"

Answer: Absolutely not. I do not and will not write about that type of story. I personally do not enjoy too big age gaps but depending on the theme then it works, just writing and progress matter. So the thing about Lucian is one, he was never supposed to be in the story. When I added him in he was actually meant to die, and be a trigger for Ezra. Two, Lucian's age was never meant to be revealed until much later. For more information on that read part two. But take things clear, my characters will always be over the age of 18 which is the legal age in the U.S which is where I live. Unless I make a short story about teenagers then I'll make that specific in the beginning. But again, the characters are all over 18, I swear.

Question 2: "What's with Ezra and paint? Is he like insane?"

Answer:I didn't even think I'd get asked this question honestly. I assumed people would overlook it but I guess not. So, if you haven't figured it out, the man has an obsession over "paint". For those who don't know what "paint" he means, he means blood. So that part of him saying he can't color Lucian in paint is him saying he can't harm Lucian. This was actually going to be discussed much later in the book. I didn't have a set plot but I did know what scenes I wanted to happen. Then I remembered I'm the one writing it so it got annoying. But to answer he is but isn't insane. I'll explain that in part 2 and 3.

Question 3: "When Liam went to that hotel and he mentioned how he felt Jake made him feel like a pr*stitute was that like a hint into their relationship or something?"

Answer: Yes and no. Gonna be honest with you, Liam wasn't even an original character to begin with. He was actually supposed to die the night at the hotel. But then I decided otherwise. I couldn't figure out how to kill him so I just didn't. He was also meant to be a trigger for Haven. Not Jake, Haven. Each character has there own unique "trigger". However, their words are the things to pay attention to not their actions. Liam feeling like a pr*stitue was actually a red flag. You see, I don't particularly enjoy reading stories involving r*pe or anything like that so I won't include stuff in that area. I mean, the topic is triggering and honestly I can't. But yeah that inner dialogue was a small peak. I'll explain a bit more in part 3.

Question 4: "Earlier on in your book you mentioned how Ezra's father had a woman and that he was babysitting that sister when he met Lucian, is the sister at all important or did you just add that detail?"

Answer: So again, the sister isn't an actual main character. She does however, have some significance. She may not be important later on in the story, I haven't fully worked out the details of the plot. But she does pop in here and there and leaves major clues, I can say that. Sorry.

Question 5: Are Maeve and Velvet related?

Answer: Didn't actually expect this question. I didn't realize people would assume they're in whatever way related. So, I actually made Maeve before I made Velvet. Velvet wasn't meant to be.. Actually I'm gonna shut up. All I can say is they aren't related.

PART 2

PLOT CHANGES AND ADDITIONS

Don't hate me, but this story has no solid plot. Wanna know why? I don't know how to even write a plot. Don't kill me please, I haven't finished watching Black Clover yet. Yes I'm a weeb, hush. I love reading, a lot. Whether that means manga or actual novels. And I've read many different types of novels written differently. I don't have a specific writing style and its annoying.

I have a story I wanna tell but don't know how. So trying new styles until I find mine will obviously take a while, so bare with me. I do have certain points I want to hit in the story.

For example, Lucian and Ezra aren't even the main characters. Truth be told, they never were. I wanted to start the story off with them. But since my chapters get deleted and I never notice till publishing time it makes it harder. So for now Lucian and Ezra will sort of be the main characters.

I want to divide this story into different parts. Each part has the same characters but will focus on certain points. For instance, I wanted a part of the story to focus just on Lucian and his self acceptance. Or Ezra staying true to himself, even if that means potentially giving up and either losing himself or finding himself. But in order to do that the characters have to be developed and develop as the story progresses and that's where I'm stuck at. Which is why I wanna delete all the chapters and start over, this time merging chapters and changing scenes and characters themselves. I want to introduce them each at certain times for certain reasons.

Which is why I plan to unpublish each chapter and start over. I really want to try this out to see if it's what I'm looking for. Hopefully I don't **** this up.

I originally "planned" for this book setting to be around you know the mafia or something but now I'm deciding to sort of change it. So bare with me. Some scenes will stay the same with only small details fixed. Other scenes will be totally different. Like the hotel scene may not be with Liam, I may change it to like Haven or something. Which will have a whole new feel to it. Again, I want to find my own writing style so that the stories I write aren't sloppy and sh*t. So if you see that all my chapters are gone.. Then yeah sorry. I'll delete them a week from now, I want people to get a chance to read this chapter update before everything is gone. I will leave this up for reference just in case people forget.

CHARACTERS AND CHANGES

So if you've read part 2 then you know that not only am I finally adding a "solid plot" may change if I find it crappy. Because the plot is changing or being added some characters are gonna have to change. Now I haven't fully decided but there will be new characters I'm going to be introducing. And there are little Easter eggs for future chapters and other stories I may or may not be working on *cough*.

For starters I'm debating whether to get rid of Ezra entirely. Something about him ain't right. He's missing something.. Maybe I should leave him and fix him later on. Character development ladies and gentlemen. Who knows. If he suddenly dies don't hate me.

Due to new characters being introduced, everyone's introduction will be different. Including Lucian's, honestly can't I just make him the main character and not Ezra?

Wait..

Lucian wasn't even the main character to begin with! I forgot..

Hahaha.. F*ck.

Oh, for those who are confused as to why I'm suddenly censoring myself, I had a very uncomfortable talk with someone about curse words. Y'all gotta tell me if it makes you uncomfortable, because there is quite a bit of swearing. I'll censor the worst ones but if I don't just kindly point it out. I'm sleep deprived as it is thanks to school and anime. Editing chapters at 2am is difficult ok?

With that being said if you didn't read part 2 you might wanna do that since everything will disappear and I'm gonna be honest with y'all.. I'm changing the title of the book, so yeah... Ha.
