He was watching that with his eyes wide open.

An old man with specs sitting on his chair having a nice cup of tea is writing a novel. His grand son knocks his room's door and ask him to come and have dinner. The old man is a weired person, he doesn't speak much. His grand son's name is Adair Smith. He is a 14 year old boy. His parents lives in a city and he lives with his grand parents in a village. His school is also in that village only.

"Let me finish my first page of my novel son".

Just then his grand mother Abuela come and shouts on him " what type of freaking novel you want to write since yesterday but doesn't completed its first page yet".The old man's name is Herman. She open the door and tells him to come and have his dinner in an irritating manner. While she leaves, his grand son Adair is still standing outside his room with a door wide open. He enters inside the room. He can see his room, too neat and him trying to write, but not able to write anything except the title of the novel.Adair is not able to see the whole title because his pencil case is covering the title. Though he can see a word of his title that is "PREMISES". His grand father's room is so neat but his desk is opposite of his room. It is unorganized.

At that moment when Adair get inside his room, herman doesn't noticed his presence yet. But when Adair tries to remove Herman's pencil case and read the complete title he got scared and so trying to get up from his chair, he fells with it. Adair than got him up saying, "what's the matter" and herman was just saying "oh son! ".Adair asked him by getting him up that

"Is that a some kind of imaginary novel that you are writing ".He replied in calmly

"no son it's about a real incident, that happened to me when I was a kid of your age". When his grand father fell, his table got shaken a little bit, and he saw the complete title name, it's

"The Barrier At The Premises".

After saying " let's go, have our dinner then I'll continue writing this" his grand father leaves the room. Adair stays there and when he turned the first page of his novel, he read the starting chapter's name

"Scream".

He thought whether this type of title suits his incident.

The next morning ,it's Sunday so Adair and his grandmother Abuela is getting ready for Adair's uncle and aunt wedding anniversary.

" Adair it's late, let's hurry son " Abuela calls him loudly . His grand father Herman have to complete his novel, so he was staying at home. Herman felt thirsty. He went to the kitchen, as he drinks his half glass of water, just then, he heard a sound of water falling from their bathroom's tap. As Herman got there, he tries to close the tap but the tap is already broken. He said to himself that

" What kind of trouble is this now".

At that very moment he fixed it temporarily.

After too much hardwork he fixed the tap and stopped water from flowing . He is tiered as well as frustrated about that, because he'd told Abuela before that the tap is leaking ,but she ignored it. Herman thought she gets too lazy sometimes. By sitting on the sofa after working hard on the tap, Herman gets so heated up that he calls Abuela right that moment.

At the other end, Abuela and Adair have just arrived at their destination. His uncle and aunt named Dren and Eliya. They welcomed them. They are rich .Abuela get busy talking with Eliya. Dren is a wealthy businessman and love children.

Dren asked Adair to play one game of chess with him. "Yeah uncle I want to" Adair replied. Just then on 3 o'clock afternoon, ther doorbell rangs, Eliya opened the door. An employee from Dren's office is there. He looks unhappy and said her in a strange voice, without asking for his boss Dren that,

" I'm Dren's branch manager and I'm here to give him my resignation letter, please give it to him."

At that time Adair and his uncle was playing chess, so concetrated at that game that they ignored the door bell. Abuela is standing and watching the conversation between those two, just then her mobile rangs . It's Herman, as she picked up the call and said,

"Hello".Herman yelled at her, " You didn't called the plumber to fix the tap leaking from two weaks, today it's fully broken, I fixed it temporarily. "

and cuts the phone angrily.

After 15mins, there is a knocking on Herman's door. Herman says "yes, coming", gets to the door and

he started getting negative vibes as he opened that door. A man in blue uniform says, " Good afternoon sir, I'm a plumber". Herman said to himself, "It must be Abuela, who called him. " Herman unable to see his face properly because of hat he wearing and also his face is slightly inclined, watching a bit downward. Herman allows him to enter. As he was fixing the tap. Herman goes to his room and continues writing the novel. He is still getting some horrifying vibes from that person, but he ignored it. As he was writing his novel, he is so tiered, that he tried to take a nap by putting his head down on desk.

He woke up, Herman realised that the plumber is working on the tap about half an hour. After getting out from his room and he saw the man leaving without saying a word to him. "Hey what about your payment".He just said a word " I already got that" and left the house.

At evening Adair and Abuela came back. Abuela started making dinner for them.

When they were having there dinner,

Herman said softly, "Sorry for yelling at you and thanks for calling the plumber".

" It's ok, but I never called any plumber, I had totally forgotten to call the service for it".

As she denied about calling the plumber, herman got scared . And after a few seconds he calms down and says while chewing his food, "oh, good, what a joke, ha, ha, ha".

"Are you day dreaming, I never called, and I'm damn serious", when she said that, her looks are not telling him that she was in a mood of joking.

Herman stood up from his chair , " What, this can't be ".

He ran towards the bathroom "hey, Herman where are you running now" Abuela said, as he reached to their bathroom, Herman opens the door " bang!!!" and saw that broken tap still in that same position.

"This is bad, too bad".

" What happened, come back and sit here quitely, have your food ,afterwards we will talk about your day dreaming stuff ".

Adair got scared by his reactions. "Grandma what was he talking about?".

"I don't have any idea son".After they had their dinner, Adair goes into his room. Herman is still in the main hall, sitting on the sofa.

He is thinking about that plumber.

Abuela is washing plates and glasses at that time.

Telephone rangs, Herman picked the phone.

"Hello",

" Herman, they got me", after these words Herman can hear only holler on the telephone.

The next morning, the birds are chirping, Adair woked up and as he opened the door of his room, he heard footsteps coming from the kitchen, as he gradually walks towards the kitchen ,the sound started increasing and when he get there, in a moment the footsteps stopped.

His grandma Abuela is lying down on the floor, he saw the blood all over her body. Her whole body is like someone is tearing it off the whole night.

He started trembling . Adair gets a feeling that someone is hiding below the dining table.

At that terrible moment, he knew that something must had gone wrong yesterday.

Abruptly the blood on that floor were splashed into his eyes, as someone don't want Adair to see him. There is a window at their kitchen, which gets cracked, like someone escaped. Adair could only able to hear the voice of cracking off and running.

He got frightened and started running here and there. Crying and terrified.

Without wasting any time he run outside

and called for help from his neighbours.

Everyone was in terror when they watched the teared up body.

His Grandpa's body was found at the backyard.

It's raining heavily.

"come on, I don't wanna go school today"

says sneaking from blanket.

"Adair you should go to your college "

"but mom it's raining"

"shut up and get ready, I don't want to hear any more excuses"

He gets up and starts getting ready.

" Man, I know no one's going to come today "

"I'm heading out " said adair.

"Alright" mom replied.

He opens door and his umbrella, starts walking for his school.

He takes a turn at street , just then someone calls him from behind,

"Hey Adair, wait for me"

He turns his head and says "oh, hey John, how are you? "

John comes near him running and says "I'm good, oh yeah, you know there's this cool anime I watched last night, attack on titan"

"what's it about.... "

Both of them walked together to school.

Later in school,

"Isabella"

"Pressent mam"

"John"

"Present mam"

"Harry......... "

Class gets silent for a moment,

"someone's sleepy", says Mike.

"Harry!!!!??" , teacher shouts.

no answer.

"He is dreaming mam" Suzuki replies.

"Ok then wake him up and tell him to ..... "

teacher said while walking towards his desk, where he is sleeping, dripping saliva from his face on desk and head lying down on it.

"to GET THE HELL OUT OF MY CLASS!!"

teacher shouts in his ears.

"Aaaaahhhhhh...... " ,Mike wakes up.

Mike just realises he was in class.

Teacher stands in front of him staring at him and says,

"Get out and sleep there, there is a very big

floor in our school Hall way",

He walks out of his class embarrased while some students laughs on him.

Shuts the door and the presenty continues.

"Adair........"

asks once more, "Adair".

Adair is watching rain outside , not paying attention to what's happening in class.

"hmmmmmm... I'm gonna loose my mind"

Teacher shouts , "Adair Smith ".

Adair replies getting out of his day dreaming, " Yes mam".

"Why are you not paying attention, get ouside and join Harry", she says harshly.

Adair walks outside and stands beside Harry, who is still sleepy.

"Hey" said Adair.

"Hey bro, you too" harry asks.

"Yeah" replies.

Behind the school there is a mountain jungle. They have there classroom on second floor of the building.

Adair was just standing there and thinking,

"Oh man, I miss myself when I was younger and lived with my grandparents, I have so many nightmares after they are expired."

He felt emotional there.

At that time Harry saw a Man in rain wearing red color raincoat and black rain boots, heading towards the jungle.

They cannot see his face because of the hoodie.

"Man what is he doing there? ", he thought.

It was a view of the big mountain at the back of the school.

Both of them are sticking with the wall outside the classroom.

Harry wondered, "Isn't that a sleeping bag".

He tries to look closer by taking two three steps forward.

Adair realises that Harry is looking at something but he never notice the man near jungle.

" That's something long inside that bag

like aaaahhh......... no, noooo", Harry thought.

"What are you looking at? ", Adair asked.

Harry points out the man and says " He is pulling that bag by sliding it in dirt. Maybe he is going towards the jungle, but why is he doing this hard work in this heavy

rain? ".

Adair replies, " None of our business".

Harry being curious "But... "

"Just be quite or if teacher heard us talking , she is going to call our parents", Adair says.

After school, while walking back to the home, Adair told John about the person they saw in the heavy rain.

Adair opened the door of his home and heard the voice if television.

"I'm home", Adair said.

"ok".

His mom is watching television lying down on sofa.

"Hey son be careful out there, you know, in our city there are 13 persons who were found dead this month. They say it was a work of more than one person", She said.

"Sure mom" he replies.

Adair gets inside his room, throws his bag on bed and lie down on his bed.

mobile rings, he picks up the phone by lying and then rolling on the bed says

"Hello Mike what's up".

"Hey dude did you get the news? ", he asked.

" What news? "

..."There is a person who is found at the backside of our school near the jungle", Mike said....

" what's the matter? ", Adair asked.

"It is said that he was attacked by a serial killer and found in a very bad condition".

"Adair", mom said in loud voice.

"What mom? wait a sec Mike" Adair said.

"Your class teacher just called and said school is going to be closed for tomorrow" she replied.

"ok ", Adair answered.

"hey Mike so what were you saying"

"That there was a half dead person found lying down near the jungle, saying that, he was attacked by a serial killer".

" near the jungle? ", he asked

"yes", Mike replied.

They talked about that for half an hour

but Adair never told him about that scene he saw in his first class while in punishment.

Mike told him that the person is in ICU right now.

Adair thought about the event that occurred with him in past.

He still missed his grandparents.

He thought about the serial kills happening in his city.

"what I saw could be the killer and Harry must be thinking the same right now,

but what difference that makes, he is still outside there roaming freely".

then he suddenly remember his grandparents deadbody and gets emotional and angry.

"No, I'm not afraid of these killers, if I was just smarter and stronger, I could have saved my grandparents that day.

Hell no, I'm not going to let these killers haunt us anymore".

"I'm gonna put end to this", speaks angrily to himself.

"I'm going to hunt them down..... "
